The difference is not to be found in logic. We're talking about women after all. The justification for this and most other double standards, like cheating, is as follows: Her doing it is making her feel good. Thus she sees it as good and anyone not liking it is a threat to her feeling good, also called toxic and abusive sometimes. When someone else does it, she feels bad. Thus it's a bad thing. And anyone making her feel bad is bad, or toxic and abusive as it's also sometimes called. Makes sense now?

Social Media makes relationships tricky like the best advise i do is just Keep it off social media. If a woman wants to get to know me more then she will to wait and find out in person. It never worked out for me with turning women off so i leaned my lesson.

I usually only put things on social media, that relate only to me - it's text descriptions of what I'm thinking about, pictures of something cool I've encountered or if I am attending an event. I don't ever post pictures of myself along with other people, don't tag other people in my posts and generally just respect, that others might not feel as I do about having a social media presence. I can however empathize with people, who want to share their joy of being with someone they love by posting a picture of it, but it really only seems appropriate if you're absolutely sure, that you're both in it for the long term (have dated etc. for several years, married or are expecting children).

I had that same problem with the woman who had a tendency to break up for any little disagreement . If and then would ask me why I wasn't posting relationship status. And my answer was, you don't stay around long enough for me to be public of our status. I'm not gonna keep changing on and off.

LinkedIn and RU-vid is my only outlet for social media. I deactivated my FB account a long time ago and only access it if I need to contact someone - and that’s rare because most often I can locate a person on messenger if I need to. However, for those men who are active on social media I advise them to do as women and examine the woman’s presence on social media platforms and then make an intelligent decision to move forward or refrain. After entering into a relationship, asking a person to reconsider their activities on social medial is equivalent to asking a person to change their character. It’s almost an insult. You have to allow people to be who they are and if it’s not a fit, then acquit.

I'm the same as you, I use only LinkedIn and RU-vid for social media. Only those two add value in my opinion. I have never had Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and I don't intend to have it. If women want to get to know me, we can talk in person or chat through text to hopefully meet.

Something important you forgot to address in this video, Apollonia. I have hardly gone on social media in four years because of all the political stuff posted there all the time. Though I try to resist the temptation, sometimes I do login to Facebook long enough to post something political if it’s enough on my mind to want to say it to the world. I’m afraid some girl I like and go on a date with is going to see the political stuff I’ve posted and just automatically decide “NO” without getting to know anything else about me. Do I need to just go on Facebook and delete everything political I’ve posted so that women aren’t scared away?

Hi Apollonia! Important question: how do I attract a girl who is not ready for a relationship, but I want to make her see that I'm the right guy for her when she is ready. She is an overthinker and has trust issues, exactly like me. 3 years ago I started non-exclusive dating my girlfriend. She asked if she could post our dates on Facebook, of which I said, “Post as much as you like.” 3 years later we decided to enter into a committed relationship and friend each other on Facebook. After becoming her friend on Facebook I got curious to see all our dates we had 3 years ago and I DIDN’T FIND ONE reference of our dates on her timeline at all. She posted about other guys she was non-exclusively dating but none of our non-exclusive dates even though I gave her permission to post our dates. She says over the 3 years dating her she says she told all her family about us but when we became friends on Facebook all her family asked where did this guy come from. lmao. She even went as far as telling 2 guys she posted about their dates with her that now she is in an exclusive relationship with me but she never told me about these 2 guys ever. I asked her why she never told me about these 2 other guys but told those 2 guys everything about me. After she told those 2 guys about me they no longer wanted anything to do with her let alone be friends with her. I only found out about these 2 guys because I asked if she was dating anyone while she dated me. If I had not asked she would have not come out and told me. She says she was afraid I wouldn’t have anything to do with her if she told me about these 2 others guys she was dating. She also claims memory issues because she had just started menopause 3 years ago as she started dating me and those 2 other guys. Don’t you find this terrible odd?

You were the best she could at the time so she kept you while she fucking other guys she didn’t want to fuck up anything because she knew she was seeing other people and her friends and some of family knew about the guys and not you. It’s to protect her image so she doesn’t look like a loose girl. I'm very upset, I was speaking to this girl for 3 months whom I considered long term for long term, but I couldn't get her to speak much or have any development emotionally because she didn't want to, it caused an imbalance where I felt more into her than she was.
