Socializing difficult dogs can be tricky. The interactions between dogs are unique, dynamic, and fluid. While these factors do make it difficult to create a step-by-step plan that can be applied to every dog, there are absolutely some best practices that can be followed, particularly during the early stages of socialization.
In this course, we will focus heavily on these early socialization moments and some of the universal practices and principles that can be applied to virtually any case, but are of particular importance when socializing insecure or potentially dangerous dogs. You will see Tyler working with a trainer, Lexi, as they introduce three different dogs from two different cases. You will see how they assess and introduce each dog, and witness how they develop a plan to ensure their future success.
