Just bought a 2005 Honda Civic LX Manual a month ago for $500!!! Runs great, and saves me so much money on gas !!! Got both bumpers painted, and the hood, tinted the windows, and did a complete detail. I must say, feels like I’m driving a new car !
The 2001-05 Civic 7th gen is my personal favorite Civic as well. Love the sedan, coupe, and EP3 Si hatch. These were truly the last of the old school Honda Civics, and old school Hondas in general.
I have a 05 civic ex coupe as a daily. I bought it in nov 4 2020 with 35,600 miles on it. It now has 46,800. Best daily I’ve ever had, can be fun but it’s mainly used to get from a-b. I have one of the lowest mileage EM2 in the city I believe
Yeah bro. Still loving this! Looking at a 05’ EX SE right now. Don’t like the wheels though :(. Agree with you about these five spoke wheels being THE best looking alloys Honda has. Might switch out for these after buying.
Really love this generation of the Civic, I've got an 05 Civic LX Sedan, and I must say, quite a good car, only has 159k so it's just barely broken in lol
@@kingdoge69 unfortunately no, due to the questionable maintenance history and despite our efforts to keep it maintained, one of the piston rings let go in the engine at 165,000 miles
Synchro hey I appreciate it! I did a little research too and I may be incorrect but I believe the lx does not have vtec, while the ex does. Again, I may be incorrect but I believe that’s the only difference, hence the difference in horsepower like you said. Awesome
Sebastian Yeah you’ll definitely enjoy the ex model. I’ve put about 13000 miles on mine since I’ve had it, and it’s been pretty good to me. It’s got decent speakers, power windows and locks, and the moon roof as you mentioned. Pretty nice little car
thecarexpert21 Sorry this is probably a stupid question. But I’m looking to buy a 2005 civic and I’d like to get the most engine I can for the money. What trim or engine would you recommend looking for? Turbo or vtec would be nice but I’ll admit I know nothing about civics lol. Any advice appreciated
recently picked up the 2004 EX in silver as well. my first car. im glad i got the little economy sedan. i only fill up every 6-8 days and its $25 to fill it up. but the only downside is you're eye level with oncoming vehicles and at night time, headlights are a problem. especially those new stupid acura headlights.
My sister had one of those and the rims were not in the best shape and slightly rust on right rear fender and one time it got into a rear ended collision and she was not too happy about it and later on she didn’t have it any more, but now, she got a new car
