Remember I mentioned Maine is a forest products state? People cut wood. You will never see a parcel of land for sale anywhere in Maine that has never been cut. The area that has been least cut is Baxter State Park. When I was a kid a large portion of that park burnt to the ground because of that.

I find it highly unlikely it was a mistake. Everyone knows before you build you need to double check unless you don't really care and want to do it. I wouldn't want to live next to a person like that.
Everyone that I have ever met in my life always say I should have bought more land. I will tell you this we will never see land prices like they were when I was a kid. When land was $100/acre we wait, When it went to $200?acre we waited for a better deal. When it went to $300/acre we waited for a better deal. Keep waiting.@@flynnjp19
