Hey Cap, the water in Bimini looked amazing. Your camera picks up the colors so well. I can’t believe how quiet it was at Bimini Sands, you had that place to yourself!
I love all of your videos, but this one is one of my favorites.... It's great how you show, in detail how you installed and store your equipment. I have to admit I am surprised how well your air-conditioner works (installed in an enclosed space/air-flow issues, and working so well)... I will be installing a lot of the things you have showed us, on our Parker... I wish I had the port-side bench seat like yours; it is more useful than my seats. I might remove my port-side seat, and build a galley sink and a place for my small butane stove!... One more thing. If you ever decide to open a restaurant, I would like to buy some stock! You really know how to cook! I get hungry watching your video!
Thank you Captain and yes I agree with you taking that share away from there you can build a galley like a sink put your stove and if you like you can put a fridge under it also just got to make sure you have been delation for the Fridge
@@OutOnTheReef Andrew I agree with everything u wrote. I love all his videos, but I did like seeing some of the details included in this video showing where he stores things when cruising. The fact that he has AC is awesome and how he found the perfect spot 4 it. He really utilizes all his space. I love the bench seat also. That would be pretty cool also if u can make a spot for your stove.
Just stumbled onto your channel. You really demonstrate the amount of fun you can enjoy on a smaller well fitted out boat! Very nice content and filming, I'm practically drooling over your cooking. Regarding ICE: make an insulated cover for your deck ice chest...a couple layers of Refletex fitted to cover the sides and the top. Simple: cut and duct tape. Fancy: sew up cover with light color marine fabric on outside. A cover like this keeps the sun off the cooler and will easily add one full day to your ice load in hot weather.
Welcome to my channel cap. And yes you are so right avoiding the direct sun to the cooler helps a lot Thanks for the great suggestion. And thank you for watching my channel captain 👍🏝👨✈️
A new company from wflorida bought the property out and are making a lot of improvements over the next year or two, one is that there adding a bunch of new dockage out in the middle of the basin 😩 , no more perimeter dockage around the basin there will be slips running out into the middle. Plus re doing the pools and restaurants from what I hear👍👍⚓️⛵️.
Good video as always... cap I recommend you to get a cutting board before you cut through the plates and mess the table/seat of the pilot boat. Be safe!
Noticed the starboard bolster(side cushion) is flush with the top of the gunwale and the port bolster is 1” below the gunwale. I was hoping that might be part of the issue but it’s possible it actually means the deck lid is off even more than 1 1/2”. I think I would try to figure out exactly what is going on here. A first guess is that the deck lid which includes the cockpit gunwales, house, and forward deck is sitting on the hull crooked (to use your words). It’s possible the lid is on straight but the cabin sole is not seated on the stringers or the stringers are not even. Personally if you have the stomach for it I would have a Parker dealer get a firm answer as to the cause. At the very minimum I would verify the port side deck / hull seem is fastened securely and properly sealed. You might have to look under the rub rail to see it. I did an inspection years ago on a sea sport which had a similar issue. What had happened was while at a dock a wave lifted the boat up and the boat caught the rub rail on the side of the dock. As the boat came back down it peeled and lift the gunwales back a bit. The screws of the lid/hull seam were pulled through the fiberglass of the hull.
Thank you for the great info and I place a video on my channel explaining why my Pilot House is crooked and it shows you there where the problem is if you have time to check it out and you'll see exactly what's the problem with the boat by being crooked thanks for the great info captain
I am a Bahamas immigration officer stationed in New province Nassau, let me know if you want residency and I’ll have you scheduled with an officer who’s stationed at whatever island you want residency. I recommend exuma or Andros, those are our most beautiful islands 😉
@@ellehamilton3796 that would be awesome for me since i travel to bahamas very often ,what is the requirements? And what is the process, and wen i travel to bahamas what is the process for being a resident. If i do the residency at bimini would that give me the same benefits that if i do it at Exuna What is the difference. Thank you so much for the great info Officer Elle
Out On The Reef because you’re not planning to work in the Bahamas there’s no need for going through the process of getting a work permit, therefore you DO NOT need a to own a home if you’re NOT planning to work. All we need is proof of financial stability, we need you to be able to show proof that you are NOT a burden to our government which is where the proof of finance comes in. Also your police record is required. Once you have all those these sorted out, I promise you it will be the easiest application you’ve ever did.
Looks awesome. Never had lobster scrambled eggs before, but it looked awesome. Try getting a pair of good cooking shears to cut the shell instead of the Rambo knife. Makes me nervous with that cutting!
Another fun video! Looking forward to seeing your return trip and how she handles rough water. Wondering about what looks like a drain hole in the floor of pilot house? Does it drain to bilge area? Ever get water in the pilot house? Safe travels!
Agree with you captain.the best part when the autopilot do his job and wait for the trolling get the fish.save the gas.sit and relax.nice work.ok captain welcome home
@@OutOnTheReef Thank you ! Enjoy it ,this is a good life ,I enjoy it too with you [with my imagination ] Happy new year with health and safe trips .Saludos y que Dios te bendiga !
One of my favorite breakfast dishes when in the Keys. However, I shred it into the eggs. And, like you, I eat half of my lobster before it gets into the pan. lol. You sit in the cabin while trolling so you don’t too much sun... on what, the back of your hands?? Hahaha What day we’re you at Bimini Sands that it was so empty?? Or, was it just off season??
Never never never push your boat away from the dock, before you start it. Always start it before you push off. You are kind of screwed if it doesn’t start, especially with the wind and or current.
GOOD LOBSTER OMELET !!!! 🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪You need to upgrade that cuting board, I was scared your gonna puncture the seat cuting the lobster. Put a teflon cuting board there 🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
You're pretty good at getting lobsters so I'm thinking that would make a nice tip next time. I'm going to give my 2 cents on the freshness. If you're eating yours in the 1st hour, super fresh. Store lobsters are alive when you buy them and you're spearing and icing so not as fresh.
Would you consider a silenced gen set as your next big install project? I've used suitcase sets for years and they're really noisy...no matter how quiet the manufacturer states. Great video series !! 👍
Thank you Captain and thank you for watching the poles I use are discontinued at Amazon but the reals I have the link in the description below is made by Peen And thank you for watching my channel Captain welcome!
@@rdabalsa I thought about the ice machine and it's a good idea but the chill Plate sounds like a better option I will look into it thanks for the suggestion captain
Need to come up with a way to have more ice storage, a place where you can keep it seperate, best way is to have blocks of solid ice, it keeps better it dont melt as fast as ice cubes, you just need to chop it up when you need some pices.
Out On The Reef yea ! Your so on point with everything !! Who the hell did the ice become an issue ! I was surprised on that one myself !! 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@michaelcianciarulo8434 thank you Captain I review the video and I think that's exactly what's wrong with my twinless I will go on the boat as soon as I can and I will adjust that and maybe I'll make a video doing it thank you so much Michael appreciate your help
Great video, We loved staying at Bimini Sands. Please tell Fritz hello for us. Hope I didn’t butcher his name. I’m sure he will remember our big group of jetskis from Louisiana. He’s the young gentleman that help you with getting the ice! Can’t wait to get back out that way. Where you there in late November? Billy D
Yeah he sure is, next time there please tell him hello for us. Yes, we have took skis across several times. Skis only, we have had 20+ skis 28+ people. 2016, 2017, 2018 Bimini, 2019 we visited Abaco. Abaco trip we had a few friends with Boats. Billy D
That’s correct my brother. We spent a week in the area May 25th - June 1st 2019. Had a chance to visit several Cay’s. No Name (Pig Isand), Green Turtle, Elbow (Hope Town) and a few others. Had the pleasure to meet several great people & families while visiting. Hated to see so much devastation after from the Hurricane happen to such a beautiful place. Wonderful, resilient people, they will overcome with time. Billy D
LOL you have me laughing and you're right my fishing poles are only $130 a piece I need some serious $600 polls and I'm saving some money for those in the future😉 I love the broomstick joke
Out On The Reef you definitely don’t need $600 poles. But some with a little better action will make your fishing much more enjoyable. Check out my channel only a couple fishing videos on there. I need to learn to edit Like you do. I have hundreds of hours of raw video. What program do you Use?
@@OutOnTheReef pick up some Accurates. Maybe a 400 tern and a larger valiant. You can't go wrong. The company makes aviation and aerospace parts as well.
Nice video Thanks for sharing. Here's a little tip: next time state the name of your vessel twice calling the name of your target twice. When they respond, explain clear and concise but politely. For example: Yourvessel, Yourvessel calling portname, portname. Over. (After response) Sorry for the inconvenience but I happened to run out of ice and will greatly appreciate permission to dock and buy some. over.
That is a kill-switch electronically remote control to deactivate the engine if I fall off the water check out a video on my channel that talks about the fell Marine kill switch. You will love the technology of that equipment
Captain Good morning. I all ready know this video was one year ago and I don't know if you all ready make that wish a real dream come true. I you didn't do it I wish one day be part of that group of friends. It will be a great experience to sailing with your experience. Thanks for share your experience s. Blessings.
good morning Julio thanks for your interest cap. im always traveling alone doing my videos but if i ever go in a group i will let my RU-vid viewers know Julio

Really nice channel. I think you are inspiring a lot of people including myself. Can you talk about your inflatable life vest and all its features. Feel free to hit me up if you are ever in Nassau.
Thank you Captain for joining my channel and being part of it and I have a my Channel videos talking about the vest and how I customize it with all the electronics when you have time please try to find that video scroll through it and you'll see it it will give you all the details and the features. And I love Nassau I was there this year and I visit the Berry Islands wish I was only Thirty Something miles away from Nassau one day I'll make it. If I can help you learn anything ask your captain navigate safe
Yeah, they seem to change management quite often at the Sands actually which discourage people to go back....apparently, last year's management really ruined the place..
Is the area in which you are going to in the Bahamas, is it recovered and have services? My travel time to Miami to launch is near the same as yours. Want to be sure before venturing out.
Many many hand molded boats are crooked. I owned a marine fabrication company and we saw this all the time. Usually only boats laid on to CNC molds are straight side to side.
That's a really bad shame because there are very expensive boats and you expect to get the quality you pay for that's my opinion but thanks for your thoughts captain
Out On The Reef - there are a lots of ways to measure quality. Your Parker is a fine boat. I’d take a hand shaped, hand laid boat almost any day over the alternatives.
@@sirlancelot3109 I understand what you're saying but all The Parkers that I measure after mine not have the problem even the people who own Parker went to measure their Parker and did not have the problem that I have it looks like mine is one-of-a-kind Factory defect an inch and a half is a lot to Captain
@@OutOnTheReef Okay, It seems to be a 2017 or 18 Parker 2120 SC. As I look at others in this model, it seems the decks are all sloped in your direction. Seem it by design, and your dingy got extra sloping. LOL!
@@robb1460 I went to the dealers and check the other boats and they don't have the imperfection I have a mind is 1 and 1/2 in crooked to one side is the only crooked pilothouse you will see out there. Check out my video on my RU-vid channel called why do I call my crooked pilothouse
It is trailerable the only thing you have there's over feet more transom Brackett but it is trailerable in. Is a much better boat for the ocean since you be able to attach to engine instead of one that's my recommendation instead of having at 300 horsepower on that boat is better to have twin 200
Out On The Reef Hey thanks for the response! Been watching your videos for quite some time now. I leave in Tennessee where the water isnt as blue. I think my wife is getting nervous from me watching your vid’s 😉. Keep them coming cap!
I'm pretty sure the beam on the 2520 is 9'6" ...which would mean u would need to get special permits everytime u trailer. The 2320 is 8'6" beam..which is legal to trailer.
Im in . Im in . Im in I want to be part of the group . Bro . Really you should plan that Extraño el.bimini sands Creolo compro asplundh Tremendo desayuno .
Out On The Reef hell no !! They need to buy that boat back !! Bullshit !! You need to just make a video on that ! Cause you might have other issues with the build ! Safety !! No !! That’s BS !! Put the dealer on blast also !!

Conch tastes more like sweet and S A little showy Steven raw taste sweet and it's delicious you got to try sometimes especially if it's fresh is better thanks Friend😉👍👍
they're very expensive that like a hundred and twenty bucks but since I only run the generator at night time but I still I am wondering where can I place it at and at night time I have to keep an eye on it keep emptying it says they have a small container I'm going to keep doing some research to see what will be the best or to get a chill plate
