stay safe and have an amazing trip. in case your journeys take you close to Syria and to Aleppo in any time soon, do please consider visiting CatMan of Aleppo (Mohammad Alaa Aljaleel) who does amazing things for local animals and local school for orphaned kids. much love from Poland
Somaliland seems like such a lovely place with amazing people and a beautiful culture. This country is now a must for me to visit in the future. Thank you Indigo Traveller and Thank you Somaliland! Sending love and appreciation to you both from California, USA. ✌🏼❤
fascinating how people in poor countrys are always so positive about live - in the west the society puts so much pressure on people that we forget to enjoy life
Humans are desires they always want more but when you are content with what you have ,you will be happy ... I live in a slam in Nairobi Kenya called korogocho, its the second biggest slam in Kenya things are changing and Africa is the change
Poorness is a relative term. Lesser material resources doesn´t signify lack of wealth, rather, stimulus for inventiveness, and resourcefulness for living life under different standards. On the anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall we may remember the living conditions of the majority in Eastern Germany as compared to today´s standards to see similarities.
@@otaconz1147 yeah and very fast but a bit expensive...in Kenya even in rural areas do have internet ... Am planning to show case slams in african and how they live....check out on my channel soon
@@mysteriousDSF The scariest for me was making a wrong turn and ending up in East St. Louis at night. It's not that the people were scary. There weren't any people. It was a city dark and desolate as one might imagine post apocalyptic!
Cadde That’s besides the point, he is talking about safety and the fact that the federal government does not govern Somalilad, instead they do have their own. That’s the point. But yeah, All the Somalis share All you said.
@@NSalah2006 The federal government doesn't govern nearly all the regions of Somalia. This region just like all the other regions has representatives, selected by the locals and from within that region; who represent their interests in the Somali capital. This is nothing but nosy foreigners sticking their nose in internal family politics; while they would have been offended by the same notion - during their own elections.
Muhammad Lol..... you’re saying Somaliland has representatives in Mogadishu? The whole world knows that’s not the case, if you want to make a point, make sure that it’s a fact. It’s true all Somalians need to work their problems through, but denial of Somaliland’s existence is not going to make that happen.
I've watched all your episodes.. it was amazing. I am from somaliland and i am very grateful for you for your visit and positive feedback. Wishing you back another time dude.😍
Oh what a shame! I liked this series a lot, but glad you enjoyed your time and nothing happened to you. Looking forward to your new adventures, but for now, thanks RU-vid for the notification! Popcorn ready!
@@fjpozzlyrics1282 I didn't think anything before about Somaliland, because literally, no one speaks about this region in the west. Like I said in other comments, people seem kind and it doesn't look like a war zone at all. I'm glad Nick showed this part of the world to the public.
somali girl sis u can’t be on video that’s based on Somaliland chatting about Somalia to opposite things it might say we ate part of u at the moment sooner it won’t so u people in the south need to move on
BobbyRice2 it’s not it’s own country officially, Somaliland despite having its own laws and government still is formally under the leadership of Mogadishu. His intro isn’t really propaganda because Somaliland is recognized as part of Somalia internationally but it aspires to be independent in the near future.
Thank you so much for allowing the comment section. You have made me travel to places I have never imagined. You're an amazing person Nick! I really pray Allah grants you more health, wealth and everything you desire in your life so that we continue traveling with you. I just wish the entire world could watch your vlogs OMG, the perception about different people and places would really change. The content is beyond extraordinary and that's why I subscribed. I used to love adventure movies but watching the real adventures from you I don't think I will go back to watching lies. Nick, thanks for the great work. ❤️💯 You deserve a medal🤭Love from UAE . Bellandon
You’re the top dog in the league now nick, been following you since 10k subs. And the travel you portray is real & which is way it’s your USP because no other youtuber has shown the areas of the world that you currently are. Stay safe brother!
Nick I have enjoyed watching your videos about Somilia, thank you for shedding light on those of us Somalis who never got opportunity to see our country. Much love
Yo, it's great to hear that you love what you're doing here. The content is also much appreciated, as you know. Patiently looking forward to the next one!
The musical interludes featuring local music genres are really awesome also. As a musician those parts really stand out to me. The Middle Eastern wind instruments and the African percussion is really nicely done!
Good luck Nick! Thank you for the Somaliland series, not so many people are as brave as you and have the heart to look for the positive side of an area that has been shown so negatively in the world news, be careful in dour next trip we all want to see your next adventure and learn a little more from this new place you are about to visit, greetings from Germany
i came to watch pirates, terrorists, destruction & all those bad things i see on CNN & Fox here in the USA but instead all i'm seeing is super nice people. beautiful nature, people living a chill life looking for 0 troubles goshhhhh soo good!
Your videos are amazing. Thx for sharing with us the reality that we cant see on odinary tv. I follow many youtube travellers and I can affirm u are the best. I really like how u interact with the local people, always respectfully. Congratulations!!! Greetings from Brasil... Come to visit us!!!
Thank, Nick. I truly enjoyed your eye-opening glimpse at other realities and ways of life in a land that is still unaltered and not yet under attack of the obscure influences of western culture. I do hope Somalilanders hold on dearly to their traditions of peaceful living and continue to cultivate it for the benefit of All.
Thanks again for a fantastic view of a place I knew nothing about. You continue to smash our preconceived notions and open our eyes to the beauty that exists literally everywhere in this world. Safe travels! We’ll be here when you get back. 💚
It’s either Pakistan or Afghanistan. Since I have a friend who came back from Pakistan I hope it’s Afghanistan:) but if it’s Pakistan then the north is very safe. The south - I do know. :) can’t wait for new videos though:)
Thank you for your honesty and fair coverage of Somaliland. This country has many smart people. I know because I was born in a neighbouring country. I have a feeling that their economy will boom extremely soon when they get their recognition. They have so much potential
That guy is hero he has been told you everything I wonder how he realise and said amoud is best university in Somalia 🇸🇴 great brother we are one country one ☝️ nation Somalia 🇸🇴 become great again
Nick, Brilliant vlogs from SomaliLand my friend, I’m not even to try and guess where your going to pop up next, you are Mr. Braveheart, (I have a sneaky feeling BTW), but hey, I wish you safe travels. 🙏 Mark in 🇬🇧
Thank you for bringing us along. Now we are going to worry for awhile. Can't wait to see where we are going next. You know we would love to go to New Zealand sometime. 💜
You have a kind heart Nick and you are brave to travel into these lands. Seems like you didn't prepare for the trip like others and waited for the surprises. I love the way you made those videos. Definitely will visit my Somali brothers someday, there is definitely alot of economical potential in Somalia.
I've followed your journey a lot since you came out with this Somaliland series - and my God has it been interesting. I've learned so much and seeing you out there exploring really helps a lot of us learn about different cultures and seeing people from around the world. I really appreciate you and this channel. I will be watching you regularly from now on and can't wait to see what you have in store for us next. Take care Nick! - Big fan from Denmark
I heard of Somali land over the years. I had no idea it would be so safe to travel to. I thought it was as dangerous as Somalia; looks like i was wrong. It would be an interesting place to visit.
Captain Devious not my idea of a great vacation. I find it fascinating but I need more comfort for my dollar and as a gay woman this doesn’t seem like the ideal destination......
@@vonlipi I totally understand, it's more of an adventure. It's a beautiful country, interesting people but definitely not for everyone. My extended family live there, i visited a few times. I loved it but was also relieved to get out.
Great series Indigo Traveller. I'm one of the "diaspora" guys, thanks for introducing Khalid. Thanks for rekindling my love for my country. Wish you all the best in your travels.
Somali people are native to 4 countries in africa. our lands are separated by boarders, our ethnicity is not a flag . we are 🇸🇴 and 🇪🇹 and 🇩🇯 and 🇰🇪 i have confidence we will rise form all sides ❤️
Stay safe and good luck, Nick. Keep finding good and knowledgible local guides and contacts, like Khalid in Somalia, and Lenny in Venezuela, and keep your eyes and ears open to the latest news. Unless the Ethiopia videos are a total mess, I personally do not mind looking at them if you post them.
Really stunning scenery, you did a good job recovering from the ISO incident most people on here wouldn't notice, and can see past it. Thanks for sharing.
