I think this is one of their more underrated songs. I love the bass and of course Alex is a god on the drums...how does he keep it up??? Amazing performance!
I cannot believe they let go of Reber. He fucking took over and MADE Saosin. The last two albums were amazing. Green just stepped back in to reap the benefits.
That's a pretty ignorant statement. The band wanted to start playing again for a few special occasions, and in all the interviews they agreed playing with Green was a magical experience, which is why they went with him instead of any of the other people they auditioned. They're doing it DIY... there's not any money to be made. Reber even went to one of the recent Green fronted shows and only spoke highly of the experience.
i remember he said he had issues with confidence from insults and tension with green fans, and it broke him a bit. I think smoking was an underlying issue, im sure there are good singers out there who've smoked a ton.
David Ocaño yes. theyre equal. tho cove's vocals declined so hard caused by hain smoking and drugs. cove = melody + lyrics and meanig anthony = high pitch notes superb vocals. i personally like cove. but that doesnt mean i dont like anthony's
Okay, Saosin is completely amazing. Cove is one amazing singer. He hits every note perfectly. It sounds just like the one on the record, if not better.
@ColeMessner you realize they record the line outs of the PA, and mix the audience sound in during mixdown...not saying they did, but its very common to autotune live dvd releases... -
@azncoolz I disliked In Search Of Solid Ground. Don't get me wrong, it was still well-written and I enjoyed every song on it. But the melodies and lyrics of the album set a dark, depressing mood instead of a passionate, fierce atmosphere.
@snusskalle because he was on auto tune for this show, just like any other bands singer would be during a filmed concert. besides. he's not in the band anymore.
I love Cove since the begining. It was hard to see the constant stream of insult and harsh criticism directed toward him back then, saying that he couldn't sing live (and this is prime Cove in 2007). It was like a massive gaslight.
umm ok.. Look @ his timing? coming back on the one? play alot of ( tastefull) fills suppoeting the band with out over playing. That makes a Gr8 drummer. Can`t compare d man to A legend like NEIL he`s prolly influenced by Neil tho.
@020stevenleu Ah yeah I understand exactly what you mean. So is there any other bands that you suggest that have a passionate, fierce atmospere around it? Any good bands in general that was like the old Self titled? IMO, there is no other band like that album. The drummer is very unique, the basslines are funky and justins guitar riff skills are sick as hell. Don't forget Cove's lyrics, but his voice live became shit.
