I had no idea they made a small hack saw! And that tripod...wow....my husband is restoring a 93 F150 and those mini tripods are awesome. We have something similar he uses to snap shot engine parts. Thanks for another informative video!
Thank you Sandy that is awesome your husband is restoring a truck. I dig it. That little tripod has been amazing great bang for the buck! Is your husband going to put those videos on RU-vid?
@@ThatFixItGuy lol He's been saying he needs to create a youtube for 10 yrs. He is extremely mechanically inclined and fairly knowledgeable in a lot of areas but I don't think he will. There's just not enough hours in the day 😀
Right on. I have had to use mine more that I like for sure. Hope you and Michelle are doing well. I am going to have to see this instrument repair tool box at some point.
I used a Dremel grinder and a 1.5 diameter cutoff wheel. I used it to cut the water lines they were in the way. I then had plenty of room to cut through the brass nut.
I just found this after my repair. Also I had that crazy triangle clamp in the way. Nose of the videos had that but one of the 2 choices at Home Depot. Also, I had to chisel out the busted metal pipe out of the elbow to get the new plastic pipe to fit.
yeah i will have to do that. i installed a chrome tail piece at my grandparents and it connected to a leaky strainer from 1938. i did not know that the strainer was leaking. i checked on the plumbing a few weeks later. and i saw all my work was rotten because of the water dripping on it. since the strainer is from 1938 it is on there tight. but i learned a good lesson. i will need to use your trick to get it out thanks for the tip.
Anytime! I’m glad I am helping people out! It is always nice to see what someone else would do in the same situation. 4 eyes are better than 2! Keep up the good work as well! Your channel is growing!
That would work well, and I may try it at some point but I always seem to grind a little more than needed! Lol. My luck is I cut the sink and I’m screwed.
