This is going really nice! I'm intrested in if there is going to a tails doll/metal tails for tails. Its nice to see people still make these intresting romhack, but im kinda sad that almost noone is making romhacks for Sonic 3 :(
Now for me this is the Demo of Sonic 2, because this fangame says about the Demo of Sonic 2, saying what Sonic 2 Because it's about the Emeralds, or the Stones in case, then in the end there would be a battle where it would be in space, and that's really nice to see there.
Fixed. Thanks for pointing out the obvious. I have a bad habit of ignoring minor issues like this :L Fun Fact: Fixing it also fixes a serious issue where Metal Sonic and Sonic can "tie" the race. Obviously, not a good scenario.
What I really meant to say was that you never had to travel there, and thus could play without seeing Act 1 or Act 2s' futures. I sort of truncated it to save space...
This should be a collaborative effort between you, other hackers/coders, your friends, and the supporters. The supporters would be high-tier subscribers and low-tier friends/helpers.
Implementing something like that wouldn't be too hard, actually. The only problem is that Metal Knuckles doesn't have a full sprite sheet, and I don't want to ask Aquaslash draw a full sprite sheet.
Chuckling Knuckles Chaos Emeralds and time stones are completely seperate. Also, the Time Stones don't work like in Sonic CD; you can't use them to force good futures.
Now in 2020, I hope if you play as Sonic,Or Sonic and Tails,U fight Metal Sonic, If u play as Tails, U fight Metal Tails, And for Knuckles,U play as Metal Knuckles
You need to use the deleted levels from Sonic 2 in the game! Exemple: Dust Hill Rock Zone Wood Zone (Metropolis Past) Winter Zone (Dust Hill Past) Hidden Palace Genocide City/Cyber City
It might be cool if there was a mode where you started in the Bad Future, had to find the Time Stone to time travel, and then could go through the Present and Past to make a Good Future. It'd probably make both creating a Good Future and collecting the Time Stone in the same zone a bit less tedious by making the progression more natural than starting in the Present and going back and forth Also, how is Sky Chase Zone going to work?
That first idea is pretty interesting... It goes a little bit too far from the original Sonic CD formula, though, so I don't really want to implement it. As for Sky Chase Zone, currently it's set to always be in the present. Obviously time travel would be impossible there, anyways, and having separate time zones for it would be a waste of time and resources.
Forget the shitty S2 special stages,Time Stones can instantly turn you into Super. Also,Pacca doesn't know how to import the Peel Out sprites from Mania.
Casino Night Zone - All the casino roulettes are now now rigged by Robotnik so that you'll lose rings every time you go in. Chemical Plant Zone - The chemical water makes drown 2x as fast. According to the western canon, Mega Mack can melt its victims in a matter of minutes. Marble Zone and Hill Top Zone - Lava drops come out of nowhere hurting Sonic every chance it gets in the underground sections. Labyrinth Zone - The ENTIRE Zone is flooded and no air bubbles to be found since Robotnik KNOWS well that Sonic himself hates water sections. You can make up for this unlimited air in the Good Future timezone. That's all I've got for now.
I like what I'm seeing so far. Honestly though, I'd rather see Metal Sonic for everyone if there's going to be no other significant change to the race. Those are just my personal tastes, and if you prefer what you've done, then I'm fine with it.
I was forced to swap out Metal Sonic; Knuckles colors made him look red and green, which looked super strange. I get where you're coming from, but it was a change that needed to be made.
I'm liking what I see so far. This is really shaping up to be a pretty nice hack. Hey, I've actually been making pretty good progress on putting together a basic disassembly of Sonic CD myself. As such, I actually have the original code for things like the peelout, time warp posts, extended camera, sound effects, ect. Are there any objects, features or other resources from Sonic CD that you might want? I'd be happy to disassemble, extract and port anything you'd need. Feel free to let me know.

As for individual things, I desperately need good ports of the sound effects; the ones I've found so far lacked any voices, so I couldn't use them :T A sample of the extended camera code would be great, too.

As for the extended camera specifically, I'd actually planned on writing up & posting a guide this weekend, seeing as Selbi no longer offers his "written-from-scratch" version of the camera because people kept stealing/leaking it. Is Silver sonic still in the game?And do you plan to add more zones?Also this hack is loking amazing i think it would be a good idea to be able to choose between Cd and Sonic 2 Eggman sprites but that is just a suggestion
Silver Sonic is definitely still in game; vanilla Death Egg Zone comes up right after the Metal Sonic fight, and I'm determined to leave it as is, just like in Sonic 2. That second suggestion is an interesting idea! I'm not sure if I can do it, though.
