They probably didn't take Archie Sonic into consideration because Archie Universe =/= SEGA games Universe, so Silver's ancestry in that series has no bearing on games Silver.

OK, the problem with drawing from the Archie comics is that a lot of the characters in those comics don't exist in the games, so if his ancestors were comic-exclusive characters, that ancestry would only apply to the comics

Could it be that Silver was not natural born, but just another bioweapon created in a similar fashion than Shadow? Maybe by Eggman Nega?

By the way, Archie Sonic writer Ian Flynn kind of covered this, but I can't remember if it was on his forum or on his podcast. He spoke of the way reproduction works in the comics, how humans/Overlanders and Mobians cannot breed together, and how Silver's ancestry has never been officially revealed, but as an homage to Future Trunks from Dragon Ball, his guess was Amy and Shadow. That was just a guess, though, as he doesn't know.

I still think shadows the father, we don't know wether or not he can reproduce, its just an assumption. It would make since considering that shadow has the tuft of fur on his chest and has powers closest to silver arguably, the mother could be either rouge or blaze since rouge has white fur and blaze has gold eyes.

Ok no no no. You can not use examples from Archie and then turn around and leave out Nic because she is a detail that disproves your theory. I know you said it's because she's not canon to Sega, but guess what; Your Archie examples are not canon to Sega either. You can not pick and choose which is valid and which is not valid.

What about Little John, who took the species of his mother, Mari-An the echidna, instead of the father, Rob o' the Hedge? Also, why does Nack's father have to be a wolf and his mother a weasel and not the other way around?

The theory of shadamy makes absolutely no sense, “but shadow is immortal” but Amy isn’t, silver lives 200 years in the future so it’s not possible that it’s Amy’s son and plus I’m pretty sure no one is gonna think about banging while the world is ending. The DBZ parallel is a poor excuse, and even if he was their son he doesn’t even recognize them in 06 or even call them Mom or dad

If you spend nine minutes in the final boss fight of Shadow the hedgehog, Eggman will contact Shadow and tell him he isn’t an Android but the ultimate life form created by his grandfather, meaning the same from adventure 2. I might agree that shadow is probably not Silver’s father or ancestor, however I think shadow can reproduce since he is a living breathing hedgehog and male even dough he was made in a lab. In sonic universe, he marries Sally but only for a short time before sonic becomes the king of Mobius. That shows that Shadow can reproduce with a female even tough they didn’t have time to engage yet.

The only thing I’d disagree with, is the fact that it’s WELL KNOWN, that Amy has a hobby of Tarot Card reading. And there have been hints that she has potential ESP abilities. Now it’s more likely that Silver is a result of random characters that may never be introduced, but if we WERE to use the main CANON cast as candidates for the start of his bloodline.... Sonic and Amy is the most reasonable answer.

There's a *BIG* flop with this conclusion, if Sonic was Silver's ancestor, Silver should have heared stories about his past past past grandfather, and not try to *kill* sonic when they first met.

I do have to point out one thing, and that's that a succesful inter-species breeding with one mixed child did happen in the comics. Rob O' the Hedge(King Robin, later) married an echidna female from a lost tribe wandering Mobius. They had a single child that was described as being a genuine half echidna and half hedgehog, and it was talked about by the characters as if it had never happened before, was a very odd thing, and was almost miraculous, you could say. However, we never saw the couple or the child again, and probably never will, because- reboot!

I believe that Black Doom, being essentially a God, created an egg and gave it to Gerald, to which Gerald borrowed sperm donated by a hedgehog, as that is how cloning typically works. Shadow, when he was born, was then injected with the cure that made him immortal.

Uh... What garanties the fact that Silver ancesters might been completely original hedgehogs? Of all we know, even Coldsteel could be related to Silver thanks to Forces

But we've seen shadow thought and have feelings with Maria and when he fought against the government so he has a mine for his own he can hate and he can live he's not just a living weapon

Not quite sure if it matters in the grand scheme of things, and really just a nitpick, but Elias and Sally are not twins. Elias is stated to be older than her, at least by two years (although possibly more).

Sega owns the comics. Yes Archie publishes them but SEGA owns them. Anything Sonic related is owned by SEGA.

Your missing on one key factor. Sega characters are heavily inspired by Dragon Ball Z. Which means that Sonic is goku,Shadow is Vegta,anddd Silver could possibly be the son of Vegta. I mean in Sonic 06 when Silver was fighting Shadow. He has shown to have the ability of using Choas control,like Shadow in his first try.

It couldn’t be sonic because when Sonic dies any of his children would not exist ,but Silver is still alive.

I mean if you are going by the comics you clearly know who sonic's spouse is, it's Sally, and they had 2 kids Manik and Sonia, with manik being being a hedgie and sonia being Chip. So it's not impossible to say Sonic might be a great great great great great grandad of Silver, but that would leave the question who did manik choose as a spouse? And so on and so forth.

and plus you got to remember the kids were before a reboot and there hasnt been any future comics like it since then so it might had changed we dont know it was a cool idea to see it since it has no bourders for anyone but with the reboot kinda made it hard to know what is true or was true one point

It's important to keep in mind that intially Nack was a jerboa weasel mix, hence the eccentric four fingers instead of five in his debut, as jerboas obky have four toes. It could be possible based on his original species that his mother was a jerboa?Nack be a huge exception though because he and his family still seems to break three rules, with the mixed species, sister and four fingers. Maybe his father had another child with a weasel and they are only half siblings? Idk

I also know Sonic's parents, king Jules the hedgehog, and queen Alena the hedgehog. Also I assume that knuckles has some connection to the ancient echidna tribe and tikal

I thought that you would also give a candidate for Silver's ancestors from the comics. You build the theory in a way that you had some really good established rules for the archie comics that it seems to me almost like a lost opportunity. I know the point of the theory was to stay consistent with SEGA's universe but the theory could have been more interesting. However it's a great video none the less.

Here's my theory about Shadow and why he can't reproduce: Since Shadow can't reproduce, maybe Sega originally wanted him to be used as a mascot for those people who get tired of the ever increasing cat population. Basically: "Hey kids! Neuter and spay your pets so they can be as cool (and edgy af) as Shadow! (Some kid in the background with their black and red spray painted cat: "Wow! My cat is so cool!!!")" Eventually, the increasing amount of popularity of Shadow led to Sega reconsidering him and adding him to the colorful cast of characters in the Sega and Archie universes. So Sega came up with a backstory and another explanation of why Shadow can't reproduce to cover up his embarrassing origins. (This theory was supposed to be a joke, but I became curious and wanted to know if this could be considered true or proved false. Can somebody make a video about this theory?)

I love how when talking about the whole power being passed down thing nobody references the fact that in the comics Silver was trained by Mammoth Mogul, the same immortal crazy guy who gave Mina powers. It's entirely possible that he gave Silver his powers and that Silver's powers weren't inherited at all but were simply given to him by Mammoth Mogul at an extremely young age so he grew up with them and was just as proficient with them as if he had inherited them thanks to his training.

His Uncle Charles, or Chuck, is obvious, but there is also Bernadette his mother, and Jules his Robian (robotizised Mobian) father. As well, we have seen Knux’s family. All the way back about 600 years. Sooo... yeah. Also, the Advisor Line of fire ants is traced back to the current advisor’s great-grandfather, and the Acorn royal line was traced to Elias and Sally’s *deep breath* great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-great-grandfather, Alexander Acorn. That is TEN greats and THIRTEEN CONFIRMED GENERATIONS (plus the future one)

I agree with this theory for these details, but I’ll only state one. Power inheritation is the key detail here. Sure it isn’t garunteed for this to be true, but I agree that shadow most likely won’t be able to have an offspring, leaving only sonic because it was shown that silver has the ability activate chaos control, leaving only 2 other possible people. Knuckles ability of chaos control is false due to it originating to the master emerald gifting him a minor form of it due to him being the guardian of the emerald, making it so it is not as powerful as what silvers been shown to use, being able to activate a true super form and us multiple emeralds to time travel, while knuckle’s super form is significantly less powerful, as known by the differnentses in there abilities, knuckles ability only being a slight power up. Tails only can use the emeralds power with assistance of either the super emeralds power or Sonics assistance. Sonics ability is pure and very powerful being very similar to silvers, even being assisted by him to time travel. Sonic also is the main character and has something known as the constant center. A hedgehog character with unknown ancestors comes back in time, and has a very powerful and rare ability that only the main character in the series seems to truly have for a natural reason. I wonder who his ancestors are.

My Sonaze Fan children are Quadruplets. Two female Hedgehoc, one dark purple, one dark blue(almost black) and two Mono Mono male cat boys with the same pastel purple colour as Blaze. The dark blue girl has yellow eyes, the boys green and the dark purple girl has olive green eyes, a mix of yellow and green eyes. And all 4 have chest fur from Blazes family part. Dark blue girl has pastel plue chest fur based on the Werehog. ^^ The boys i drew fluffy with ear fluff too. xD

if android shadow is immortal that means the real one is so he must have survived and saw egoman coming so he went to a dimension where he is unable to come back using chaos emerald so he could be a possible candidate

His ancestry could literally be ANYTHING. The only thing I can think of is that, I do think both Silver's parents are hedgehogs, since he doesn't seem to have a sibling.

In the comics his ancestors are Shadow and Amy.

You did really well. While I never thought about Shadow reproducing, I knew Shadow's chances were slim due to him not being biological born. I didn't know if he was the immortal that couldn't die or age. Since Shadow can't age, he is able to be killed and thats why he wasn't in Silver's time when Iblis attacked. As for Sonic, I don't really believe it's him either due to Sonic was killed in 06. If Silver was the child or descendant of him, he should have disappeared when Sonic was killed. But since that was all erased, i can't really count that but in the archie comics, Silver appeared to save his time by stopping whatever it was that destroyed his time. If we assume Sonic was killed in Silver's time, then Silver couldn't have come back to save everyone. That's just my theory but I do believe the Amy might have some relation to Silver. As for the male, it could go either way.

For the ultimate life form not being able to reproduce, the only alice prototype is a lizarde that can't live on it's own, most likelly the result of toying with DNA to much, they may also be other deceased prototypes, if that's the case, they most likelly refrained DNA modifications to make sure that this one stays alive on it's own for good, they instead preffered to bring modifications not by making them from scratch, but implementing preexisting DNA that has these features, Black Arm DNA, but somehow, Shadow isn't half Black Arm half lizard, he's mostly headgehog, so, they most likelly worked on a preexisting DNA, from the start, first, lizard DNA, and maybe other living creatures, to finally settle on a Mobian hedgehog, from there, there are three questions to be asked: Do the results of ultimate life forms had a mother? Do the results of ultimate life forms had a father? Did they develope in a real placenta (Like the Indominus Rex in Jurassic World) or an artificial one (Like Mew Two in Pokemon)? I'll take each possibility separatly. 1: No mother, no father, developed in a tank: They have more control over what he has, and what to get rid of at birth, but they take great risks to have a dead featus, or a dead baby. If they feel like he shouldn't reproduce, they have many ways to do so. 2: No mom, no dad, developed in a living creature, same as above, but the host might maternate the baby around. 3: A mom, no dad, tank: Same as first. Maybe a bit easyer to get a more stable health. 4: A mom, no dad, living creature: Same as above with the materning around. 5: A mom, a dad, tank: You have a safer baby and full control over his growth, but not so much on his development. 6: A mom, a dad, living creature: very litle control on development, safest baby, the mom (and the dad for some speacies) will try and keep the baby, and this baby being the most natural, I think it'll also be thes cenario with the most effort needed to make steril from it's DNA alone. But if he was born equiped, nothing stoped the science team to do like most people do to their pets, bu. All this writing led me to almost nowhere, but I wanted to conter argue your machine are built to do only one thing, yes, Shadow is an organic living creature, we havelessexperti se with that, so , the most efforts isn't building him with extra features, but giving him birth without uneaded but yet inherent to the modified original specie features.
