Thanks - I use trackaddict on my phone, which reads data (rpm, temps, throttle) from a bluetooth obd2 adapter. I then import the data into race render and overlay the data onto the footage.
@@chrispy28 I am studying some of your laps, and it would be great to add the gear and brakes pressure in the future if possible. Thanks for the information.
@@rdab700 I can't get those out of obd2 unfortunately. Brake pressure will require reading data from the CAN bus, and I'll need something like AIM solo 2 to hook up to it. I might do that in the future, but I'm not at that level yet. As for gear, I'd say that it's not very useful based on my own experience studying other people's laps. I choose my gears primarily based on speed, so if lap times are different, then gear selection can also be different. I would say though that I'm conservative around corners I trail deep into, like 4/7/11, and stay at a higher gear than what the computer would do. It helps me control the car as I feed throttle.
