Saw her in concert in Atlanta when she made her comeback. I won 3rd row floor seat tickets and wasn’t really excited about going. She blew my mind. One of the best concert shows I’ve ever seen. She’s phenomenal.

I am 54yo and remember my parents watching The Sonny & Cher show. She is still relevant today. She closed the tribute to Betty White special by singing The Golden Girls theme. She is one of the best!

Michael Bolton WROTE this song. This whole album was def in constant rotation in 1987. That is Cher's real life BF (at the time) in the video. She's always dated "younger". CHER has a fantastic Cover of WALKING IN MEMPHIS worth a reaction!

Well, look what we have here. We begin the channels long road into Cherdom . This made my Saturday morning. We are now 2 for 2 with the Anton seal of approval. Figured this was a good one to set the pace. You did Turn Back Time, but there are so many other amazing songs to dive into. What era is the tough part. Career spans decades and is the only artist to have a # 1 single in 6 decades. ( 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000, 2010). Guarantee there is more from her ahead too. She is awesome. As I have said before, at one point in time, or two or three, she was the most popular figure out there. Through it all, she has remained relevant and sexy af. Yes, Anton, even sexier than your one hit wonder Shakira. HAHA. Glad you liked it. Here we go.

I am absolutely loving these videos and i too Believe (😉) that Cher is simply a Goddess. Every decade of Cher's is unique and iconic. And that powerhouse voice just conveys emotion when she goes hard and also in the quiet spots when she's restraint. 80s Cher was simply magnificent 🥰

Cher is great and hot. I love this song, one of my favorite Cher songs. I also do love the song "We All Sleep Alone" from the same album. I always considered these two songs as "siblings" to each other, they somehow belong together. More Cher please.

You may not know this, but she was the first artist to use autotune in a major hit song "Believe". ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-nZXRV4MezEw.html Now, she did it as a stylistic choice and not because she couldn't sing. Unfortunately after hearing that song a lot of other artists tried to copy that effect - and then the bad artists who couldn't sing at all started using it as a tool to make their crap voices sound in tune.

Great album from 1987. She had a great year in '87...starred in three big movies: Suspect, Witches of Eastwick and Moonstruck; released this self titled album CHER in a huge comeback; she won the Best Actress Academy Award (Oscar) for Moonstruck. Big year 1987 for Cher.

I literally grew up with Cher....from her earliest days to today....she's 75 now, and saw her just three years ago, and she was just as incredible in person as she was thirty or forty years ago....no entertainer will ever have the career Cher's had. She's had a number one hit single in each of the last SIX decades...and has entertained more people than any living entertainer. Her variety show in the seventies alone attracted 30 million viewers a week for 8 years. Add her concerts, albums, academy award winning film performances...literally on one can touch her. My favorite songs of hers are "You Haven't Seen the Last of Me" (when she was 67 years old) is a power ballad. Another is "Heart of Stone," and her dance hit "Red" all vocal masterpieces.

Top 3 Cher Songs for me are ”One by One”, ”Believe” and ”All or Nothing”. She is a legend, has a really unike voice, which i really love ❤️ and even tho her voice is very deep for a woman ( Not many have that, the only other one i know is Annie Lennox) she has the a very high range and also can hit really high notes 👍🏻 not many people can do that 🙂

Three other songs. We all sleep alone. Strong enough. Woman’s World. First is 80s. 2nd is late 90s. 3rd is early 2010’s. Probably never heard of the last one because she didn’t promote it enough on live tv so it didn’t get very big. Cher fans seem to like it tho and know abt it through her concerts since it’s release.

cher has one of those voices that is so unique it is instantly recognizable. Her tone is deep and resonant with smokey and sultry overtones, and she has that distinctive warblling vibrato. She doesnt have a big range or a powerful belt but she doesnt really need to because her voice has so much depth and density. She is a true alto, one of the lowest voices of any woman in mainstream music and she has unparalleled stamina- over 50 years in the business and still going strong. E

She has an (at least) 3.5 octave range and can belt an E5. Her voice is very big volume wise with excellent technique (and she still sounds the same at 75) - wouldn't say her voice isn't powerful or that she doesn't have a big range lol

Laura Branigan had this song on one of her albums as well. Cher always had that deep and high voice. ALL I REALLY WANT TO DO, people thought that it was a Sonny & Cher song.It was just Cher.In her first single RINGO I LOVE YOU, her voice was so low they thought it was a man singing it. I agree. I had to ease him into the songs that had a better chance of him liking first. He prefers 80s rock with the big build and the big chorus. Love and Pain is on the list. though. Im paying for one Cher song a month. LOL. Its one of my favorites, but, dont see him liking it. LOL

OMG it's the "Bagel Boy" Cher's real boyfriend at the time. Their relationship was headline making... For no good reason. Which ruined the relationship in y the long run. God forbid an older woman date a younger guy.

I may be mistaken but I think the guy she was dancing with originally was actually her boyfriend at the time. I recall he was a baker and younger than her and they actually broke up because of the pressure the paparazzi and media placed on the relationship.

You're totally right, that's Rob Camilletti. They met on Cher's 40th birthday, he was 22 and worked in a bagel shop, that's why the media used to call him "bagel boy". I think Cher has said many times he was one of the true loves of her life - but the pressure of stardom really put a big strain in their relationship. They broke up in 1989, and remained good friends ever since.

I lost my chance to meet her in person my God mother was friends with her and she was going to introduce me to her in person but my God mother died before she got to make a date for us to meet but I did see her on facetime when my God mother and Cher were just talking I was to chicken to say hi so yeah I messed up by letting fear set in but it was better than nothing now I cry when I hear Cher sing because she Was one of my God mother's favorite singers
