I think the beauty of Suki is in the fact that she doesn’t go through any turmoil in the show. You know she will always make a level headed action and fight for what is right. I think the comic does a great job showing how mentally strong she is. Giving you a glimpse into the faith she has in herself and others

I like this comic the most out of the three latest (Katara-Toph-Suki). My biggest complain are those plain one-color backgrounds in so many panels, so I'm glad you addressed it. I think they are appearing more and more since Imbalance when the new artists took over..

Thank you, Antoine for helping me save money. I always thought that Suki was fine but needed more screentime than what she got. I was hoping that the comic would shed some more light on her and make her a bit more endearing, but it sadly doesn't seem the case. Such a shame. Overall, thank you for the review.

She became my top 3 below Toph and Uncle Iroh because of her badassery, one of them is when she escaped from Boiling Rock (specifically when she grabbed the warden) and I like seeing her together with Sokka. I just think that she's underutilized

It’s about on par with Katara for me, and only lower because I don’t care much for Suki. Both of those stories being pretty mediocre to me.

I like Suki because she's calm, confodent, and a sweetheart, and not trying to be anything more or in your face. But that doesn't really work well for a lead character in an action narrative. And for a character who really needs more interaction with characters like Katara or Aang, having her in a story "alone" doesn't really flesh out her interactions much. It's more just a story for the sake of having one, like the Katara comic. Maybe a story where Aang helps Suki (a grounded non-bender) learn about the spiritual side of the world would be good.

I didn't like how this comic just ignored the canon of the Boiling Rock episode. Suki showed up after Sokka and Zuko! AFTER! The comic had Sokka and Zuko arrive at the end! WTF!?

Nah, they got it right. Suki was there before them. She was captured and sent there at the end of Book 2 when Azula infiltrated Ba Sing Se.
