1 of 79 neighborhoods in St. Louis City. See the oldest farmers' market west of the Mississippi River, which began in 1779, Trinity Lutheran Church- the oldest Lutheran Church west of the Mississippi River, historic homes including the Thielman House, a flounder house, the Trapper Cottage- built around 1810, the Franz Arzt House, the Max Feuerbacher Mansion, several historic bars and pubs, The Anheuser-Busch Brewery- a national historic landmark, and much, much more.

The market building is beautiful and historic market. There is a huge courtyard in the front. The homes are incredible. My son designed one of the few new buildings in Soulard.

Great tour. I lived in Lafayette Square for a few years, but Soulard was where I frequented. So many good memories! Is the Sidney Street Cafe still there? And the Venice Cafe?

Thanks for watching. The recipe is from St. Louis. The founder's great-great grandfather was a St. Louis brewer and he found his recipe.
