Sound of Freedom | Movie Review

Sound of Freedom is the surprise hit of the summer almost nobody saw coming. Despite its success at the box office some have criticized the movie or at the very least the people involved in making it while others have labeled it "the film the media is trying to censor". Nonetheless, there is a lot controversy and conspiracies surrounding this film and unfortunately they have overshadowed what the film is actually about. So while the movie has gained the attention of many, for both the right and wrong reasons, I will be attempting to put the politics of it all aside and tell you if I thought the movie was good or not. So here is my review for Sound of Freedom.
As a disclaimer the film deals with the very real topics of Human Trafficking and SA and other forms of abuse. As I like to do in these kinds of reviews, I have provided some helpful links below for those who may be interested in supporting a helpful cause today. @@itakeonmovies the only reason why people call it a conspiracy theory is as connected to qanon. But even the guy to the movies based upon said that he rescued children that were used to extract blood for ritual purposes. Which people have talked about inconspiratorial circles so who knows what's true.

I don't agree with you about the writing or the dialogue. You are right though, that it isn't a must see in theaters movie. I'd argue that the acting here is quite strong in this movie, better than most blockbusters in point of fact. It is also unlikely that the story is embellished to any great degree since Ballard is releasing footage of the island operation. Discounting that quibble, I think your take on this movie was reasonable. That alone is commendable these days! So... Thanks!

Fair enough! I think a lot of it is a preference thing when it comes to the dialogue. As for the acting I think you can make a strong case that it is better than many. It largely works here. As for it being potentially embellished, I do think it is a work of fiction based on actual events. How much of it is fiction and how much of it actually happened, I guess we will never truly know, but I also think it hardly matters here. Even if all of it is fake and all they did was provide some supplies or resources to kids in need (not saying that's the case) that would still be more than the average person. @@itakeonmovies Absolutely. Also don't let any hate you get from this get you down. I hate to see good reasonable people get bullied off the platform or even worse into hiding their opinions. Even when I don't agree with those opinions. If you keep your head high and stay as honest as we see in this review, I'm sure you will gain a lot of subscribers. It takes courage to voice an opinion and weather the criticism that comes from that. Keep up the good work.

I thought the riding was fine I thought the acting was great. Curious what examples? The movie is really good. And only the main actor who talks about adrina chrome but the guy that the movie is based on said that he rescued children that were being used to extract blood for ritual purposes. and that's based on his first hand experience.

I feel you gave this a very fair review. Personally, I have always felt Caviezel has been very overrated in his acting. I would say he is just 'OK'. I will wait till it comes to a streaming source.

I actually didn't mind Caveizels work. He was good in POTC and Person of Interest was a fun watch, but I never thought he was great or anything. He is the very definition of an "okay" actor. And yeah I definitely think this is a streamer forsure. Thanks for the comment! ✊🏾

The tickets aren't really free. Someone else can buy them and then another person can claim them. That's the "pay it forward" they're mentioning. It's not the film people giving the tickets for free, it's people that do that pay it forward thing they're promoting. Apparently churches have bought tickets for others.

And you're saying to make the movie free because it's based on true story there's tons of real stuff that Hollywood makes money off of. Also they have a program where you can buy tickets for people to go see the movie for free so technically you could see the move for free. dude you're contradicting yourself you said that they should have the movie for free but then you don't know if it's a good thing. And actually I went to see it for free. And I actually went to the movie and I thought it was a masterfully made movie. I have not seen any videos to prove that the guy at the movie is made about is a part of qanon!

Not entirely sure what you're saying here. Kida all over the place. But I'm saying if the goal is to have as many people in the world see the movie, making it free for those who want to watch at home or those who can't get to a theater would've been a great way for them to do that. I think people would've still paid to see it in theaters to support the movie. Would've been a win for everyone. I'm glad you enjoyed the film though. And I agree, there were no actual mentions of Qanon in the film. But the actor Jim Caviezel is a firm Qanon believer in real life though. That is a fact.
