Southern California couple killed in Arizona plane crash

A man and a woman from Vista were on board a small plane that crashed in a wooded area near the Williams Airport, which is located west of Flagstaff, Arizona, according to the Coconino County Sheriff’s Office.
A family member of one of the occupants indicated that the missing parties had not reported for work as scheduled on Sunday. And, deputies from the Coconino County Sheriff’s Williams Sub-Station received a report of an overdue aircraft from Vista.

I heard it was a high density problem, stalling. As a pilot, I am amazed that people let a/c stall. SPEED is the only thing that changes your a/c from a bunch of junk to a flying machine. I flew/built C-IAVW, an ultralight, 3rd generation, but still it lost speed quickly. Actually just mushed down with stick all the way back; 4 ailerons keeping roll in check. Seems like these 2 were great Ambassadors of aviation. They will be missed. RIP.

Most small general aviation aircraft are underpowered. They are really bad at high elevations out west. Very risky.

Indeed. I was just checking the field elevation at Wms Field - Yikes! 6700'......so flying along at say 8 or 9k' above sea level with a motor rated at 85hp which is likely putting out 1/2 that. Fully loaded.......whoa. Any factor such low engine power, weight, winds become multiplied exponentially; safe recovery slim. Density altitude needs be respected. Sorry it ended this way for these very fine folks. They've left quite a legacy as well as broken hearts.

this life is temporay believing in Jesuchrist we have salvation and eternal life .. the temples or humans or money or other things not save .. only Jesuchrist is the salvatión and the way to heaven to the eternal life read in the holy bible Romans 10 : 9 and 10 , St John 14 : 6 , St john 3 : 16

Religion a curable mental condition, if effected get professional help. More research needs to be done on this subject. History has shown that a complete recovery is possible, yet a large percentage of the population are never cured and many show no interest in even seeking a cure. You need to get counselling for your troubles!

Believing in Jesus Christ has nothing at all to do with religion. It's purely about relationship with the Creator and accepting his gift of eternal life.
