@DanielAppleton-lr9eq that was Space 1999 Season 2. Sorry couldn't resist. I misread it. I thought you said that you wanted it schlock, and was calling season 2 total schlock.
@@JimAndBess1 Consider this : They just take a s--tload of the original scripts, creative writing, " Real physics " & place it a century in the future. Hollyweird ran out of fresh ideas long ago.
💫 Very nice concept. Kept my attention. I watched both of these shows in the 70's.... both my favourites.... retro greetings from coastal Mississippi 😂
Really good. Would love to see you reverse & do the same with the Galactica opening to Barry Gray music. With things like the Carillon Casino and other disco elements in that show it would also translate.
Ah; sorry; quite right - I meant Lucifer/Satan in the demonic sense as Patrick MacNee played him under the name of Iblis. But I'd forgotten Jonathan Harris voiced the Cylon Lucifer - thank you for that! He's absolutely perfect and I only wish there had been more of the most devious android of all time...
I really liked "Battlestar Galactica Year One" 😉 (1978), but my favorite sci-fi series of all time is "Space: 1999" (especially Year One, but I'm not a fundamentalist about it!). That being said, I totally agree with what @Paul and Karen Rimmer and @James Mcenanly wrote. Amazing video, loved it!
As a fan of both series, I absolutely love it! Much better than my prequel series opening concept, "Moonbase Alpha Before the Breakaway." But in the same spirit.
Brilliantly done! I do, though, miss the disco era “wa-ka-chick-ka, wa-ka-chi-ka” vibe of the original Space 1999 theme. Please pardon my spelling of wa-ka-chi-ka. I’m sure it’s not correct.
