We hope to be travelling around and on our adventures still in 2021 we have no wish to go back to normal life and work 9 to 5 or 12 months a year ever again so fingers crossed and we get no blips in life we will still be vlogging and enjoying life xx

If you do make it to Spain in your van you will both love it..the people we have met were so inspiring and all had stories to tell...some diagnosed with illness and made the decision to just go and live their lives to the full...itcreally was an eye opener xx

Grahame Payne hi there we went past start Bay CC yesterday very nice...go to the lighthouse its fab view and great walk..Woodlands is a theme park too so if youve kids its great day out take a look at the caravan park too for future free admission to theme park for 2 night stay x

Stephen Dickson....thanks for saying this as we too have seen that campsite and we're considering it...the only thing puts me off is that its shaded and lots of pine trees and those hairy caterpillars that are deadly to dogs? Can u help with this dod you see any? Love idea of pool bar activities and good price you paid. We are not booking this year as we heard its better not to from seasoned winterers...we considered portugal too but worried about the windy weather there?? Xx

Stephen Dickson iterested to know how you got on with your 8 meter twin axle did you use moterways and what port did you go from? We are going from plymouth this year due to work location. Xx

Gypsy Souls Judy Mark and Summer They had allocated us a pitch at bottom of site too close to the road and as you say in the shade under pine trees so before we even reversed on we asked to move - the staff couldn't be more helpful and we moved a few rows up. We didn't see or hear of the catapillar thingys but we were there Nov & Dec is that the right time for the little blighters? There's a lot of seasonals on and the atmosphere was quite good. Buses just outside and easy walk to the beach with a few bars that sell beer!

Gypsy Souls Judy Mark and Summer We went Portsmouth Bilbao £900 and something with 4 berth window cabin. Sailing times fitted in with us, stopped at Salamanca (brill) on way down and Haro on return (for wine) amongst others, used Spanish motorways that you don't pay for and a couple of tolls that didn't break the bank. We've done Plymouth- Roscoff, Portsmouth-St Malo many times and Poole-Cherbourg. Bay of Biscay was a mill pond but don't bank on that! Club Voyage saved us a few ££s too. Dog cabins get snapped up (excuse the pun) quickly but there are kennels and a small doggy area. xx

TOP HAT Hiya... Time does go fast that's why if you wanna do something do it now... Don't wait. Yes looking forward to next winter a goal to save for. We are very confident we're going to love wardening... And reading other wardens comments it seems we've got a really good site to work for... Happy with work schedules and they have returning previous season wardens which is always a good sign. So here goes... We will be videoing our warden experiences warts and all... Thanks Top Hat xxx

Hey Naseem... We are in Wales at the mo... After Xmas with the family we leave boxing day then sail from Poole on 27th Dec... Head through France down to Denia then Mojacar and up to Mollina... Back to UK in March. Wow sounds great what you did we are considering in future to self convert a van and go off round Europe just got to find a way to fund it thank u so much for commenting and keep follow us as we will film all the way through our adventure... So advice welcomed xxxx

Wayfarer ... Hi we used motorway aires and a campsite and will do so on way back...Always use 24 hour services not quiet picnic areas...and park close to lorries other campers. No charge in aires. 1st night la bidonniere mont st michel campsite excellent ..10 euros. 2nd night A63 just after junc 20 landes quest aire...fab special park for campers ...free. 3rd night Aladon AP63 just before Zaragoza...ok ...free. Both shown on 2nd video back in Jan. Hope that helps xx

Hi we go from Poole to Cherborg shortest crossing for our elderly dog and we are in south west so Dover no good for us x

ian gunning Hi Ian were just coming up to Cherbourg now so just for you and many others we will do a vlog on our exact route with road numbers and overnight stops on our return journey...its been fab..lovely drive. No we generally go on a pound for a euro its increased since weve been here though x

Caravan too old now, and since we now get a complete break especially for Mark coming to canaries and it's much more affordable than towing to Spain and of course the almost guaranteed sunshine and temperatures this is the way forward for us... But at least we can say we did it xx

Hi Andy - sorry I missed this comment RU-vid popped it in Spam! If you watch the vid about applying to be a CC warden itll explain how we went about it all, it really was a case of one day (mid Aug 2017) lets apply then we got a fab job offer in a location by the October 2017. Once I get an idea in my head thats it I dont give up till its achieved. We dont work in Spain the plan is to work work work all summer and save save save - for winter chilling in Spain. Good luck there are jobs out there now always as some people start and then leave keep checking everyday. I just wish Id thought of it sooner xx

For less we was 2 persons and 4 dogs and car on the fairy..you can make it cheaper

The quoted price was for a return but these prices may be out of date now as it was our first winter abroad FYI we have just paid 226.00 one way today from Poole to Cherbourg in Nov - caravan car dog and 2 adults with a cabin x

It would save a lot of wear and tear on the car tyres & caravan tyres too, and you can relax on the ferry and bring your own food and beer or the cabin. Any additional expense that you would otherwise incur in France would be negated I think. From Cork (Ireland) to Santander us 26 hours on the ferry, so It's a long trip but you move as fast as you would by car with caravan in tow, . Plus, if you get a night-time sailing, you can get on the boat an go to sleep for the night. When you wake up, you're already a long way rom England.

@@niallosullivan3483 hi Niall thanks for your extensive reply but we enjoy the drive down and one overiding factor why we do the short crossing on ferry is our dear old dog summer she is almost 14 and has never been in a kennel. I would not even think of such a long crossing for her welfare. So for us this is why we do the short crossing while Summer is still with us... Of course one day we may do santander but hopefully not for a few years yet x

Have you thought of touring Ireland ?? You dont get the sun like in Spain etc but it really is a fantastic country to go experience

Yes Ireland is on the list but not in winter Scotland was great but we couldnt see the mountains cause of the rain and so cold so maybe in summer. Yes lots of changes for towing to Spain in the future x

@@solatiumz devalued pound + the impractical nature of both countries. Europe is on our doorstep, 30mins - 3 hours flight from London. Makes Europe a fantastic area to trade, holiday or live in.
