A special hike this one was for me. Where my passion for hiking all began back in 2014. Argés is a place I called home for many years and coming back was extremely emotional as well as rewarding.🙏
I'm grateful to have been able to revisit this place as it gave me a huge perspective of how far I've come since those days and where I'm headed to. Honestly, I never thought I would be here but sometimes life throws these necessary pleasant surprises at you.💫
As I said, it was where my passion for hiking started and also my journey to a more spiritual existence began, an awareness for self development with ultimately, a special connection with nature through land healing. Having gone through a difficult period in my personal life at that time, this land, this walk, helped me on a daily basis and gifted me with many tools that I still use today.🙂
Argés is but a stone's throw away from the city of Toledo. It's the perfect environment to come and live with it's balance of peacefulness and at the same time providing any daily services one would need for day to day living. Of course, a lovely advantage is, you can just pop down to historic Toledo which is a treat within itself. Looking forward to the hike I will be doing there very soon.🏛
