thanks for the video. my experience with the Speedlands has been amazing. im on shoe #3 and i have left Hoka for good. the comfort, wearability and slight bounce makes trail running so much more fun. i do some hardcore races each year and the Speedlands are my new weapon!!
They are the best! Unfortunately I think my feet have began adapting to the wider toe box (probably a good thing) so I literally cannot stand any of my other running shoes now😝😂 I just got past 120 miles yesterday and the shoes are still looking and feeling good despite being well over 200lb
I been out of running for a while, but man I still cherish my pair of sketchers go trail ultra 3's. They were light as a feather and had the softest cushion of any shoe I've ever tried. Not super supportive, but good for short runs where you want maximum comfort. They stopped making them unfortunately. I also bought up a couple of the OG hoka mafate 2's off ebay just to have them. They're the massive boat shoes with like 45mm of cushion heel to toe. Running in those is an experience in itself, it's like bouncing down a trail. Good shoes make running less daunting, money well spent!
