Ingredients:
Cilantro , Dill , Fenugreek (chopped) 300 Gr
Rice 2 1/2 Cups
Chopped Onion 2 Medium
grated garlic 4 cloves
Tuna in oil 1 Can
Liquid saffron 1/3 Cup
Green Chilies 2-3
Curry powder 1 Tsp
Turmeric 1 Tsp
dried lime powder 1 Tsp
Black pepper 1 Tsp
Tomato masala powder (optional) 1 Tsp
Nutmeg powder (optional) 1 Tsp
Salt
Water
Instructions:
Soak the rice in a pot for 30 mins.
Soak 1/4 Tsp Saffron in 1/3 cup boiling water for 20 Minutes.
fry chopped onion with vegetable oil until golden.
add grated garlic into the pan and continue heating for 3 minutes.
Add herbs to the pan, stirring.
Add curry , turmeric , dried lime powder , black pepper , tomato powder , nutmeg powder and sauté for 1 minutes.
Add a can of tuna to the mixture . Continue frying.
Finally, add liquid saffron and green chilies.
Drain the rice and wash it.
Bring water to a boil in a pot.
Pour the rice into boiling water and continue boiling until the rice is tender.
Drain the tendered rice.
Combine the tuna mixture with the rice.
cover and cook on low flame for 20 mins.(For best results, cover the lid of the pot with a napkin).
