Spider-Man 2 PS5 Mysterio Boss Fight 

Mysterio, Sandman, and The Lizard were all referenced in the first game from the backpack collectibles. Now, they’re all making a full appearance for us. Great job, Insomniac

I like the twist at how Quentin wasn't even the bad guy in this situation, it was just his assistants.

His suit kinda got the shattered dimension look, but it’s refreshing seeing Mysterio in a game again

Mad respect to this game for making such bold choices. Reforming villains, killing some off, a very ambitious ending. Insomniac is coming out of a bag with this story.

I think its neat that mysterio is actively using his illusion tech for good now, it was always so strange on how a guy with his capabilities always resorted to crime despite the fact that he could make a great living off his tricks

Always felt like mysterio was underrated and underestimated as a villain this game shows how dangerous he really is and i love it

I liked this version of Mysterio and the Miles and Quentin conversion at the end.

It's a shame Kraven died. I wanted him, Mysterio, and Sandman to join forces with Vulture, Electro and Doc Ock to form the original Sinister Six like in the comics.

You know what? This actually made me believe that Mysterious got the redemption he wanted. Maybe he is also tricking us the players but I actually believe this time it wasn’t a trick. Why would he jeopardize his freedom again doing all this? If any version of Mysterio deserved a redemption arc, I’d say it’s Insomniac’s Mysterio. Taking what Quentin tells Miles, sometimes we can’t change who we are but we can try to be and do better, because that’s all anyone can do.

Well I can say that Mysterio definitely improved since Spider-Man 2 on PS2

This was sad. It seemed like those two were his only friends, and they betrayed him for the money his name could bring in. I hope Mysterio - or, I guess just Quentin now - gets the happy life he deserves

Would have been so awesome if in Spiderman 2 when mysterio begins his illusion we get a moment like in arkham asylum and the screen freezes, starts glitching, cuts to black and out of nowhere it begins the boss fight from the original neversoft game or even the sega genesis game and we're in the stage not knowing what to do then a prompt for the x button appears saying "break free" we start mashing and the screen restores itself and starts the boss fight proper with mysterio saying "how did you escape my illusion?"
