Great to see it back! I, too was disappointed that they didn't even TRY and lift the first person view. It looks like they borrowed the kid's arms from My Summer Car! But there are a lot of great things about this DLC to make up for it. I really appreciate the new trucks, they put some good effort into them.
You mean I can roll around in a K5 in Spintires now? Amazing (Here in North America, the K5 is a cult classic off road truck). Also, it looks like your handling problems might be a result of spinning your rear wheels over bumps. Gotta remember that American V8s are torque monsters.
Martain Pearson The game physics has all vehicle tires running with low air pressure just like in real world situations for better traction on soft ground. That makes for hard to control driving on pavement.
@@4freebird69 doesnt help that hes red lining the thing in 1st gear wondering why the truck is all over the place.... shift up and bring down the rpm....
is anyone still playing this game, I just started playing it yesterday, what an awesome game! I played tons of GTA5, COD, Ghost Recon series, etc...and this game rocks!!! I spent the whole day gripping mud, totally awesome game for the money!

This game could be good but the camera controls are absolutely the worst i´ve ever seen in any game ever. Ruins the whole game for me because of that camera.
Welcome to Spintires. The game IS good. If every game with a janky camera was instantly written off as bad, nobody would have any fun. Everyone has learned to suck it up and deal with it. You will too.
Perhaps instead of everyone just sucking it up and instead pushing the developer to fix the camera, it wouldn't be so god awful. There's nothing wrong with pointing out valid criticism.
They added a new camera option that just circles the vehicle (like GTA) a long time ago. I still like the classic camera though. I'm sure it's a bit awkward with a mouse, but it makes sense when controlling it with an analog stick.
You should really give this game another shot with the g27. They've made wheel support much better since it started, and it's quite nice with the FF and H-shifter, you can be much more precise when off-roading. And also, as a bonus, when using the wheel you don't see the drivers hands crossing during first person :)
I always wonder why dont you play this game with the wheel, It has nice forcefeedback. I know its kinda weird with the 3rd person cam (cockpit view quite unusable) , but you can get used to it in minutes.
Yeah that's why I don't use the wheel for me it's too hard to use a wheel and drive 3rd person I've tried and tried can't get used to it. Hopefully in the future they give us good vehicle interiors.
The blazer idle sound is a diesel, and the moving sound is a 8cyl with a massive exhaust leak. Lol. Ahh well, happy to see some form of improvement on this hame.
Less right boot when off road in mud! I usually go side view camera so you can see tires an just get them moving an you'd be surprised what ya drive out of. Even the bison handles the mild mud tracks with a load on an fettle the throttle so no wheel spin an she pulls through a good un.

Where did that logic came from?, if a truck doesn't have cargo it doesn't have traction, If you had logs there, it would be the other way around, it would be easier to cross because the wheels would be pushed harder into the ground creating more traction... Why do you think people throw a bunch of dead weight on vehicles that are lightweighted on the back to drive on the snow or mud?
I came here to say this... The bison truck is actually pretty capable and performs like some of the original trucks once it is loaded... Kinda like the old B130
Even though the game is several years old, I have stuck to it. Bought snowrunner on M Store for about 6 months ago who are amazingly good and incredibly kind people on mod.io M Soft is good but stingy with, for example, money in a snowrunner. haha ... New "mod" with just money. But it's magically what mudrunner is fun. So now I want to buy mudrunner. But what is best? Epic I think ??. Anyway, thanks for your videos. Damn how good you drive. Huh what you talking about , SnowRunner is a million times better than MudRunner not only because the game has a ton more to do but the terrain moves way more when you drive over it in SnowRunner like in real life so you wind up getting very stuck.
Squirrel, on the note of the funny handling seen in the blazer, you'll find that the spintires/mudrunner physics really doesn't like high speeds; anything more than like 40 mph (guessing) things get really.. well.. squirrelly and unstable.
PAUL! There is a new update for my summer car!! It's about the wipers and the truck has a new sound. There is also new driver animations for the green car and the bus driver!
You can get pretty far with the Skidder in 2WD, just be gentle on the Throttle, and only put it in AWD when you need to, like when Hauling Logs, etc. You'll use less Fuel that way
Viktor Csabay I believe if you don’t have an H shifter, you will use a mouse to control the gear selection just like when playing with kB/mouse or controller
The skidder is a swap land all terrain vehicle it can go anywhere also feathering the throttle is a major factor in this game Of the three on road trucks I found that the Ford is the best then the freightliner then the chevy The cars are probably the Ford is slowest but slightly edges the Chevy which is a bit faster then the hummer is like a racing car speed wise and off road wise it's fast and bad off road the best way to do it is get the Ford to haul logs all the way along the main road back and forth with the skidder taking the logs from the swamp to the main road where a truck with a crane can load the Ford after the skidder has dropped them off. By the end the second major water over road is really boggy and can be a pin to get through you will have to be strategic with you line through it considering the winch points Hope this comment helps😃
Lewis Newell I found that the K5 had the worst terrain crossing, but the best durability, the F150 was the most balanced, with average terrain crossing and durability, and the Hummer was the best in terrain crossing, but worst in durability.
*** Sgt WarDaddy98 *** I was doing it based on my opinion and as soon as I went off road in the hummer it bogged down straight away so I didn’t have time to test it anymore so I could be incorrect but these were my findings I’m sure squirrel we be appreciative of both of our comments but he can make his own assumptions

One thing that really bothers me are those massive chunks of "mud" on the tires. Didn't have those in first game, sad that they wanted it in Mudrunner. Doesn't look realistic at all _(I was raised as a farmer driving heavy machinery, i know what i'm talking about)_
Here's some things to consider when choosing between the new scouts. (These are what I've determined after using them, and testing them in different conditions) K5 Blazer: Durability: High Power: Below Average Off-road: Below Average Mud: Low Swamps/ Rivers/ Streams: Low Trails: High (The K5 has incredibly high durability, but it's off-road capabilities are hindered due to it's power working against itself. It has a hard time crossing in mud and in areas with water, but is great on dirt trails.) F150: Durability: Average Power: Average Off-road: Average Mud: Average Swamps/ Rivers/ Streams: Average Trails: High (The F150 is the most balanced of the scouts, having average durability and terrain crossing, it can go pretty much in any area, but in areas involving water it has harder times crossing. Due Tuesday it's lower height, it will often get stuck on branches (winch points) on trails.) Hummer H1: Durability: Low Power: High Off-road: High Mud: High Swamps/ Rivers/ Streams: High Trails: High (The Hummer H1 is the best scout vehicle in terms of it's power, and off-road capabilities, being able to cross pretty much any terrain with no problems, while it's in 4-High (1+), but it suffers from it's low durability, often getting damaged from driving on trails alone in 3-Low, due to it's high speed and power.)
"American Wilds Edition" Console if it's a physical game disc are all the DLC's made right on the game disc or is the DLC codes included inside the game cover / case ? Only reason I'm asking is that i see a lot of the American Wilds Edition used for a good price but if the DLC is not already built into the game then it's not really worth it to me :(
Why can't I shake the feeling this map ain't new, or it's just a slightly adjust (Petrol station, signs, ets.) copy-pasta from most popular map in workshop... :/
If your asking why he's using a controller over a steering wheel, it's because ease of use. He'd be reaching for the mouse or controller constantly to move the camera, map and so forth. Just easier using a controller. Besides, cockpit view is horrible and for myself I find a wheel is pointless unless your in cockpit view.
They might be called watchpoints because you would climb those towers to complete the map you have of the area. The point at which you watch the layout of the land from? I imagine you could also see the scavenge areas from there and would be able to watch them to see if anything shows up in them (If you could get out of the vehicle and climb it).

I have regular mud runner and just got the American edition and I’m on console. In the main menu it’s saying mud runner American wilds but when I open up single player it’s showing Russian maps still and it’s saying I need a dlc to play the game. Does anyone know
