Everyone dogging on Gus for the weld quality that they inspected from there chair at home via RU-vid! People please go watch the clip again and ponder why he wanted 220 amp so he could turn it up! He said 1/8th rod wasn’t gonna work right at 80 amps! The 220 plug was to far from the trailer so he did the best with what he had to work with! When you can replicate the situation with a Vulcan ( harbor freight ) welder plugged into 110 at 80 amps using 1/8 inch rod in the rain on a poorly prepped surface and do better film it and post your link! Until then quit throwing shade from your arm chair and be grateful that there’s still people willing to help out!
We all hv been in weird spot b just needed the metal to stick together. Fuk those haters. Those who bathe guys who hv all the tools n no talent to use them. Good job Gus
Seriously, it Isn’t the man’s best work, but it’s the best he could do with what was available and GOD bless the man for trying, because that trailer is a turd 💩 but it got him home. Everyone a hero on social media these days! Props for total strangers being willing to help 🎉
That’s about all he was doing 🤣 because I looked a few times….never once did I see anything that would count as “welding”…..he’d have been better off ratchet strapping 2x4s all the way around….☠️(which is a horrible idea in itself)
@@alexsahli7988 He got it done with what he had to work with. It held long enough for Jimmy and the trailer to make it home . He said it wasn't hot enough
Jimmy fucking Dale! Bro you’re living it and you got to hangout side by side with the most positive guy in the sport of drag racing Clay Millican! Fucking pumped for you brother!
Longer videos , more behind the scenes and commentary , start collaborating more and keep merch orders up , YOU CAN DO IT WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU LETS GO JIMMYDALE . Momentum is key ❤ all love tough love
remember guys that was a 110 harbor freight welder that would not go more than 80 amps popping the breaker it would not burn 1/8 7018 it was tough but he made it lol
Way to get em back on the road there Gus!!! Got em to the finals.. Really did a bang up job with 110v on that stick with that rusty old material in the rain..
I guess I'm stupid, but did you win??? Lol That's badass someone answered the the magic in distress signal !!! There's still good people everywhere... Hell yeah... There I was doing dale ing things!!!! Lol

That awesome, no one will ever convince me people are not like they use to be. Everyone says people have changed, no one helps anyone anymore or is neighborly and I believe that to be the case in large cities maybe. But I think rare for people to be like that out in the country.
I gotta say, I would listen to you singing and makin licks on the ol' guitar every day! Sounds awesome for sure! I would also enjoy some longer videos! Always a good time, just not enough of it! Makin licks in the hot rod or on the guitar. Just making licks is what I enjoy! Good luck in all you do!
Man I can't say it enough, your little song and video monatge at the end of your videos really embodies the spirit of drag racing, family, and friendship. I love this shit
Jimmy Dale= The most down to earth Corn Nut eating, drag car racer, gear jamming, a truly friend to his fans!! Always a good day when there's a Jimmy Dale vlog to watch!!
Jimmy Dale can have a good time being scalded with hot water, blown up motors or broke down on the side of the road! Keep living the good life Jimmy! And how about a shout out to Bob's newly built SBC!
You realize he was welding on 110? He asked the guy how to turn up the welder cause 1/8 rod wouldn’t burn right at 80 amps but the 220 plug was to far away! He did the best he could with what he had to work with!
Little junior, some day when you grow up and your moms 23rd boyfriend let's you get near his garage, you make us a video burning 1/8th rod with a 110 volt into an unprepared surface made up of rust and 3 prior welds in the GD rain with the chespest welder money can buy. I feel sorry for people like you, knowing the only accomplishments you will ever have, is commenting on the accomplishments of others,
You know you have made it when random people jump in and say let’s knock this out and get this young man back on the road! He’s got race car stuff to do. My man much love from the Midwest.

Back during the first fox wave we had "Black Sunshine" 3 stages 300 out the gate on throttle activated, another 300 1.15 sec coming to 60 ft and another 300 at 3 seconds last 2 on progressive controller. We finally use chain limiters on front launch travel to get to the 300 off the light..408, Yates c302's....c4/5200..7.43/188 Houston
