Welcome back. I now own 3 TP9SFX & 3 other Caniks. With over 48,000 rounds total, I've had no issues. I'm now waiting for my local dealer to get the Whiteout.

I fell In love with the SFX trigger that’s why bought it. Could never get it to function well . FTE All the time. Tried springco kit with Newton FPS and still FTE with white, yellow & red spring. Factory load and reloads at 135pf.

I wanna say, I had a broken firing pin on my tp9. I contact century arms and they have a replacement in the mail the next day. prwtty damn amazing

After 4k rounds in my Walther pdp 4.5" full size I finally decided to order this guide rod system. Even though the pistol is still operating just fine I started noticing a crunchy like or clicky sound coming from what I believe to be the oem polymer guide rod. It only does this when I'm personally manipulating the slide to either lock it back or pull further to chamber a round and it's only making that noise right at lock position and past that position.... It's probably nothing to be too concerned over but I figured hey, it's a good excuse to go ahead and try this new sprinco guide rod system out! I'm just praying it's 1.) easy to install and 2.) It keeps the pistol just as reliable as the oem has been. In 4k rounds I've had zero feed issues or missfires or anything of that nature. I'm pretty sure the only one they make for my Walther pdp full size comes with the red spring which if I understand correctly is optimized for pretty much anything factory loaded from 115g all the way to 147g at basic and NATO pressures. 90% of what I feed her is Norma 124g FMJ because it mimics what I like to carry for home defense close enough which is both 124g hst in both standard and +p. Excited for it to arrive and try it out!

@Frank, would you recommend also changing the guide rod itself for a heavier one such as the W74 for the SFX ? Would like to see your preferred trigger / spring setup.

Great now show us a review of the Taylor Freelance brass weight kit you have on the other pistol. I would like to see the effect on recoil it has combined with and with out the sprinco kit.

So I bought the 89 dollar set up for my Canik Elite combat, comes with newton striker spring guide rod an red spring.

I have seen a few videos for the SpringCo system, but non explain the benefits and draw backs of switching.

Your last video on your SFX was after 12k rounds. How much longer did you shoot with the same gun? Or are you still using it? Would be nice to know what is the real durability of this model.

Have you tested the Galloway Precision flat trigger, if so, what are your opinions on it Vs. the Freedomsmith flat trigger?

Hey Frank, thanks for the video, very helpful. Do you have a video for how to replace the sights with night sights on the TP9SFx? local gunsmith wants to hold on to the firearm for up to 4 weeks to do this, I'd rather do it myself. Thanks!

Hey Frank. I hope you post a new video about the new SFX Rival. Please address if the new Rival pistol will have the same cycling issues (Over-sprung recoil and striker springs) as the TP9 SFX. Also, please include the red dot footprint of the 5th mounting plate available only on the dark side version that has the built in rear sight. Please clarify exactly which models can be used for that specific plate other than the Mecanik model. Thanks and more power to your channel.

I also want to go with the blocking plunger spring an new trigger spring. Only $21 bucks for so I pretty much said why not? It will only make it perform that much better.

I picked up a Canik Rival, looking to see maybe 2 or 3 things I can change or add if it's beneficial. I'm not doing competitions so I won't be doing anything that's real pricey

What ammo is best to be used for this?

Are you changing the spring to handle different grain bullets? If you change it out, how does it effect the firearms ability to handle various grain bullets?

hey frank i have a question, i just recently got elite combat executive and am wanting to put on a compensator from legion precision. do you think the OEM recoil management will be able to cycle the gun using 115gr ammo? and if not, what should a get from Sprinco and what color spring

I just purchased the tp9sfx Whiteout Edition, would you recommend changing just the recoil spring or should I change the striker spring as well? Also I will be running the Gallant 125 grain round nose bullets which color of recoil spring do you think would work best with those. Thanks👊😎🇺🇸

Hey Frank. Does this kit work with regular 115 and 125 grain ammo? This will cost me 200 Canadian import. I will probably wait until Canik makes it available to dealers. 1 to 2 years in Canada I am guessing. Sorry if my last comment gave away your next video but I saw the hint. I got a question for you, I just picked up the Canik combat Elite executive. My question is, can I use the sprinco reduce recoil system with a compensator on the end of the barrel?

Hi Frank. So Sprinco now switched from white to the yellow spring. What is the lb weight of each spring and which one will work better with factory loads 115 grain at 1150 velocity?

I've got a question. My new tp9sfx is stove piping with 115 grain and some with 124. Granted. I could not even get through 150 rounds because it was getting annoying clearing jams every 3 or 4 shots. Would this system allow me to shoot standard range ammo 115 and 124 grain reliably.? I am also getting ready to try uspsa but I will run whatever I can get ammo. Basically I'm wondering will this kit make the gun reliable like my other guns that can run whatever you throw at it?

I tried the Sprinco set up you suggested on two separate occasions, both with the yellow and Red springs set ups. I found that I had a lot of issues. The Canik TP9SFX just would not cycle reliably with either spring. Both times I switched right back to my standard set up and resolved the cycling problem. I have reduced the striker spring as suggested also. Now when I when back to the standard slide spring I didn't replace the striker spring. I'm open to suggestions to resolve the issue. I am shooting Tulammo at 115gr, but it was all I could get until recently, I'm not sure if that has a bearing on this or not. The Gun has cycled flawlessly to this point with the ammo but it seems to have a lot of muzzle flip. which I'm trying to regulate. Suggestions??????

So the red is for heavier loads? What's the verdict with plus p and these springs? I run plus p loads all the way from 50 to 135 grain..

Do you suggest replacing the stock safety plunger spring with a lighter one?Does Springco have replacements?

Hey Frank I just got the tp9sfx a week or 2 ago and I went to the range and it stovepipe on 115 gr and 127 gr but it cycled on all my 147 gr. Is there a certain color of spring I should go for? Or do you think I should just get the canik set? Any help I’d appreciate it!

@FrankXuFranktheTank Hi i have problems with my rival not going into battery i replace the striker spring with a glock red spring it helped but stil does it now and then I ordered the red oem spring from canik do you think the glock red striker and the red oem spring from canik wil work even with 115?

Just got the TP9SFx. Was told the original spring was for hotter loads. Canik sent me the Blue tipped spring. Is the Blue spring and rod for lighter loads (115grain, not hot) and should I change the striker spring as well?

Great vid, bro. I'm looking at a home defense gun and liking the Canik Combat Elite Executive. For your own Canik, who did the custom slide work? I see ports on the front slide and the optics mount, so I assume you had those cut.

Where do I get the striker spring at didn’t see it on the springco sight just the recoil spring
