I love your cozy sweet space. We lived in a 1896 beautiful home for years and decided to rebuild my childhood home after my Mom passed. While we have a huge en suite master with 2 walk in closets I miss the charm an character of our old house. There just something so special about old homes that I love. If we ever downsize I think it will be a sweet, old 2 bedroom cottage! Your space is beautiful! ❤️

OMGoodness! At the 4 minute mark you mention to hang your curtains all the way to the top! I'm going to do that in my bedroom. I hung the curtains at the top of the window and I see now my mistake. Hi Amy! When I redid my back guest bedroom, I donated our old bedroom set for a wrought iron framed bed very similar to yours. I had a Pier One dresser from our dining area which I put back there when my hutch arrived (which was why this all had to be done a few days before Christmas as we were having company and no place to put the dresser!) and I bought an armoire from Overstock that matched the dresser. It is amazing how different that room looks! It's just beautiful. I'd like to paint the room just to refresh it and maybe switch out the blinds/drapes. Little touches can make such a big impact in a small room and can make the room look so cozy. I've always liked your bedroom and I can't wait to see all your other Spring touches in the rest of your home....you always do a beautiful job!

MY SPRING CLEANING HACK-- Use a blow dryer to blow the dust bunnies out from under the bed so you can then vacuum them up. I also use a leaf blower to blow out the car instead of vacuuming it out. It is so much easier.

I love your style and have been a subscriber for quite a while. Not to be mean, but your videos now only come out if they have a sponsorship - and that's a major turnoff. Just realize that as a receiver of your content, it's easy to think "well of course it's easy to do a makeover when it's not on your dime" 💁

Hi Kim! For the record, the money I make from sponsorships mostly pays bills, it didn’t go to this “makeover”😆❤️ just know that it’s a commercial, like when you watch tv or listen to a podcast. It doesn’t cost you anything. Earning an income off of creating videos is what makes it worthwhile because it takes time away from my kids as a stay at home mom. Im proud to do sponsorships and support my family. If it isn’t something you enjoy watching/supporting that’s totally ok! There are plenty of RU-vid channels in the sea 😉❤️

Your room is lovely but, again you do not use any colour. Please don't take that as a criticism, it's just something that I can't help but notice.
