We had over 60 inches of snow. The snow on the roof had to be shoveled off. That snow landed in the back yard. It’s over my hips. I’m short, but still, it’s deep back there. Our Christmas tree is still up because I can’t get to the shed in the back yard where we store it, so I made it into a Valentines tree for my granddaughters. I’ll get someone to shovel a path so I can put the tree away before March. We’ve enjoyed the lights during the dark Alaskan winter. The days are getting longer now so it’s time to let it go. I love the blue plates.

Oh you're so right about that, when there are days those tasks are actually joyous and peaceful and don't seem like a burden at all. I don't drag my feet to do them, I'm like flying around doing them😂

One thing I'm always divided is about house decoration and how much to decorate. On one hand, I love the cozy feeling that comes from having seasonal decor or just a more elaborate decor, but on the other hand, sometimes it feels overwelming and so much to clean and dust and tidy up...
