Just found your channel. Thanks for all the useful information. My question is: for cool season grasses, when do you put out your final fertilizer application of the year? You mentioned October in your video. I know that were I am located our average first hard frost is the first week of October, but I'm not sure wen the lawn actually stops growing. Thank you.
When the leaves in your area just begin to change is your most critical fertilizer application of the year for cool season grasses. I always tell folks if you are only going to do one thing to a yard do a fall nitrogen fertilization. At least 1 lb/1000 and Phosphorus and potassium based on soil tests. If you do that the sugars get up in the turf and your spring green up will be 2 weeks ahead of everyone else. It's significant difference if you time it right.
Calibration chart was moved. I am getting with the company to see if they will send me a PDF. Here is a link to my Facebook page where I have posted the chart from a screenshot of the video. Also you can go to the 11:15 minute mark of the video and see it there. Not sure why they took it down. It is a great chart. facebook.com/share/p/jfHnohDTD3gpbGrs/?mibextid=K35XfP
