Garden of Luma: www.gardenoflu...
In this video I do a backyard garden tour of everything I'm growing in my garden and fruit trees in Arizona.
Check out my blog at Gardenofluma.com
I provide more insight on gardening in hot, dry climates like the desert and details on growing various tropical and stone fruit trees.
Here are links to the books that I discuss:

Both my sprite and delight cherry plums (planted March 2019) produce very well. Plums set fruit on permanent fruiting spurs so I do pruning for fruit production (by creating lots of smaller branches off of the thicker branches). My trees are in full sun but one does somewhat shade the other (maybe that is why it is lightly smaller). My cherry plums are somewhat bushy and I chopped them when they were bare root so that they could be maintained as about a 6 ft tree (I have been most successful with the "little fruit tree" concept with my cherry plums). I also have high density planting and shade is definitely an issue in a few areas. I try to do some summer pruning to open up the canopies to allow more light in. I am experimenting with tropical seed starting ... and your experience described in your videos has been very helpful!!

Very inspiring! Did your Barbados cherry produce fruit this year? I want to plant Barbados cherry, but it seemed like some people were having trouble getting it to fruit, I'm trying to figure out potential issues when I decide where to plant it.

I had one at my previous residence for a year before we moved and it was producing the first year. The one I currently have it's about 4-5 yrs old and hasn't produced much at all. It seems to be hit or miss. You definitely want to plant it in full sun. I'm not a huge fan of the fruit, it's just ok.
