Barbados cherry wants full, full blazing sun. They produce enormous amounts of fruit. I have a Guamuchil that shaded mine and that slowed production (that’s how I know). I am in N. Mesa and grow tons of stuff too. Thanks for the video!

Thanks for doing your backyard tour.I am in zone 9b, Central fl. My Annona does well, I don't even pollinate mine and it's loaded. Sapodilia , I have the Alona variety and it is loaded. Mangoes, Carrie and Ndm no issues.Added a East Indian Manho variety doing well. Hopefully fruits in 2 yrs as it was bought as a miniature 3 gal. Fuyu Persimmon seems to bear every other yr . I have a Camiato in ground for the last 3 yrs , blossoms and no fruit set. Avacado in ground Late Summer 2020 doing well, should fruit next yr. Tropic Beauty Peach awesome. Bought a Pink Guava at Lowes, it's mislabeled It is white ,don't care for the flavour but the bugs don't bother it,so blessing in disguise. Planted a Brewster Lychee and I probably need another Longan because I think I have one from seed that's just growing to the sky ( lenky) Sugarcane , no issues Longan put in ground this Spring ( Yehuda) . No figs this yr ,am not sure what went wrong there. Thanks again for your videos, keep them coming. Oh, planted some White Sapote seeds hopefully, I will graft unto them in the future.

I'm in about the same zone just a bit south just into zone 10. You can do a starfruit in zone 9 just cover in when small I also love my strawberry fruit (cotton candy fruit) tree is amazing that will do good in zone 9 as well.

@@Bfamreef I do have a Jamaican Strawberry tree as well, grows really fast and fruit delicious. Starfruit ,once you have a tree make many friends it produces a lot. I had enough growing up so I don't have one . I want another tree , but unsure of the next one.

Really nice trees. You are in a good zone to play with going with more tropical fruit trees. May need to cover when small but once mature you should be fine even with a colder then normal winter.

Hi is there any way to tell if plant is peruvian guava by looking at leaves or plant because i purchased what was labeled as preuvian guava plant last year at a big box store and this years first fruit is pinks inside not white so its not peruvian guava,And also can you recommend where i could buy one thanks.
