Great rifle! I dont know wtf people are talking about saying the Saint is a budget rifle.....$899 plus tax made mine $945......you can build AR's all day long with Anderson/Palemeto/BCA for under $500. the SAINT is a fantastic rifle. Just because it wasnt $3000 doesnt mean its budget.
lmao haha i think i feel the same way lmao although they gave me a shit job instead of what i wanted which is cybersecurity and then i also fucked up my legs so it's all good haha
Yeah, the BCM furniture was what decided it for me. I also did a bunch of upgrades with BCM ambi charging handle, light mount, firing pin, firing pin retaining pin(s), cam pin, gas rings and BCM foregrip. I also replaced the rear sight with MagPul steel that co-witnessees perfgectly with my Sig Romeo 5 red dot and run it with a Vicker sling (with aftermarket QR attachments). Mine does have the storage compartment in grip. All in all, everything I was looking for.
I just found one of these today. I’m really excited about having a rifle to shoot. I was actually going to get a ruger but I couldn’t put this thing down. It’s incredible!
I just bought one of these for $920 that came with red dot, extra mags, case and $200 gift card to Springfield armory as a bundle deal at a shop here in Texas.
Bought this rifle in 2021 and have modded it heavily since. Threw a Troy quad rail on mine, Vortex optic, all magpul furniture, ALG trigger with purple spring, magpul buffer tube 3oz weight, Arasaka light, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. Looks nothing like saint now. Solid rifle tho, very reliable and accurate.
I have a friend that is shitting on this gun so bad but I found a deal and like it and you just reassured me that I'm making a good decision it is brand new under 1000
@@MarcellJjr ya I think I paid like $900 for mine. Easily worth around 2k now with everything I did to it. Don't list to the larp nerds that used mom's money for their daniel defense rifles. Saints are solid.
I wanted the saint edge, but i got this one because the edge was completely unobtainable. I put an SLR hand grip on it, a carbon fiber barrel, a timney trigger kit, a holsun 3x magnifier, a holsun red dot, and a dead air nomad suppressor on it. Later i got to play with an Edge with the same suppressor and optics and i like mine way better than the edge.
Oh yea very nice brother, i was gonna buy mine yesterday but gotta take care of some shit and then pick it up this week. I love the way the gun feels, nice and compact. Was initially gonna go for this AR 15 that was styled like a m16, really loved it but just didn't feel compact enough for me haha
I have found that the b5 hand guard is better on a piston upper due to the lack of the scorch snake 2mm below the surface. Being able to grip it fully tight wherever you want is much easier with a cool rod underneath. Seven or so “spirited” mags through it doesn’t make this difference shine as bright though.
Good review but first things first it’s not a silver trigger, it is coated nickel boron stainless steel and also I’ve never heard of a “budget rifle“ for $1000 lol other than that informative video just need to get some facts straight I love this Rifle I put over 1000 rounds through it initially and it has operated flawlessly lots of goodies added on plus the BCM furniture makes it perfect at this price point good job.
@@realisrealite5554 Eh, DD is way overrated. They are overpriced big time. Same with colt. BCM makes quality stuff tho. Colt and DD aren’t bad of course, but not worth their price.
It’s a pretty solid rifle for how much it costs. Best underrated feature is the screw in the power receiver that takes out the rattle and play in the upper receiver. I’ve got a Colt LE6920 and it’s the shittiest quality AR-15 I’ve ever seen. It rattles. The finish is crap. The tolerances are goofy. No matter what I do with safety, detents, springs, grips, etc, it just refuses to click. Then I pick up my Springfield. It feels great. The finish is nice. The safety clicks with authority. The handguard feels good. I’ve pinged steel at 500yds. It puts down groups at 300yds. The trigger is slightly improved than mil spec. For $1,200 you get some great features. The most similarly specd BCM would probably be the Recce-16, and it’s $1700 if you can find one. A SOLGW set up about the same is $1800. Springfield puts out a solid rifle because they mass produce it to drive down cost.
Burned my hand on the top part where the gas tube is close. Changed out the hand guard for magpul big thick one lol and the butt stock to magpul as well
@@devintwadell9302 everywhere I checked they were sold out or it was a hand guard for the triangle end. I ordered a tacfire one in the meantime. I’ll keep an eye out though thanks Edit: The Tacfire Sucked. RIP my wallet.
my dad has a saint I have a psa my psa is freefloated I like it a bit better they are both midlenth and are nice rifls I prefer psa as a company very good helpful people and fo alot of good stuff for the 2A community
I love my victor B5 edition. I hear a lot of good things about saints from people who actually own them. Springfield has become super innovative lately! I can think of at least three different weapon systems that have came out recently and crushed it! That new Croatian made VHS is a beast it’s pricey but It’s a reliable monster from what I seen and hear so far from initial reviews. I think we’re going to see more good things from Springfield armory in the future. And everyone makes mistakes we’re all only human and honestly if you think about it being anti 2a and being in the gun business would be…….well I can’t even process the stupidity to elaborate.
I have this ☝️rifle with an SLR hand gaurd, a timney trigger kit, a holsun red dot and 3x magnifier, and a dead air nomad suppressor. Love it. All my friends are jealous and they have way pricer rifles. I also have the xds9 in black and dark earth with trigger kit and threaded barrel, i have to hellcats, (1 RDP and oneregular with a holsun red dot, and a Hellion with a dead air nomad suppressor. Im patiently waiting for some trigger mods for it. Would live to get my hands on som vhs parts to make it full auto (if i knew which parts i needed it would be great). I love all my Springfield pew pews. Best manufacturer ever!
It is Bravo Company B-5 furniture, with the other furniture option being the Bravo Gun Fighter. I preferred the stock, M-lok's and pistol grip of the B-5 over the Gun Fighter.
Why do we see the B5 emblem on some furniture, but not on some of the other furniture that claims to be bravo company as well? Like the one you’re working with now, I don’t see B5 emblem on the furniture
I heard when they went to the NRA show after the debacle their booth was completely empty the entire time with not a soul checking out. And to bring up another group that screwed us over and took millions, yeah surprised they are still around......NRA.
@@jtaylorb88 Yup, both of them are perfect 4 each other! I heard the same as well, nobody likes a gun company that spits on the 2nd amendment! I will say, there are a lot of American workers that work there that had nothing to do with this debacle, and it's a shame they get lumped in with a few scumbags that wanna make money and make it in a way that screws over the very citizens in the state where they are located!
Were you like born in Scotland (or WAY northern England) and moved to the US when you were like 3?😀 It's like, your accent is American, but I hear just the very slightest trace "echo" of a Scottish accent...
Really no reason to buy from them with all the other companies producing comparable products in the same price range. They don't really offer anything I'm interested in and what they did definitely puts a bad taste in my mouth as well!
“Still salty” 😂 lol.. Are you also one of those guys who hate AK 47s for having originated as ‘weapons of oppression’?.. you SA haters are so butthurt. Would much rather have this over the shitty M&P sport, don’t hate on stuff just because you can’t afford one
@@northcountryoutlaw9704this Springfield is not the government armory that produced are nations weapons. They simply bought the rights for the name in the 80’s and had a scandal a few years back where they supported an anti gun lobbyist.
