Thank you for your response! I don’t think it’s necessary to clean your rifle anymore than 2-3 times a year, depending on how much range time you give it. Oiling the rifle is much more important! Enjoy your rifle, and practice the fundamentals. These skills are perishable if not practiced!!

Hey thank you for your comment! I too love mine! I have roughly the same amount of rounds through mine as you do, and zero failures. It just performs. Shoot flat, and love the trigger. Look for a new review coming soon as I have just purchased another AR!🤙🤙

Initially mine was nothing but problems I had to send it back to Springfield twice. Still had issues until i changed the bcg from the Springfield bcg to a BCM bcg and now it finally runs smooth. Rifle feels great in the hands but they could tighten up on qc a bit. Not trying to knock it cause I really like it just frustrating for the first year.

I have the Springfield Armory Saint Victor. Paid under $1000! I like it. The S&W M&P Volunteer XV is nice as well. Do not get their Sport models. The SIG Tread basic models are meh 🫤

It's a mirror image at that point in the video. Notice the bolt catch/release on the same side?

No ejection port or magazine release either.

Thank you for your comment. I mounted the RDS as far rear as the rail would allow with the Magnifier. I removed the Magnifier soon after as I don’t use it. That review was 2 rifles ago, and still don’t use the Magnifier. But thank you for pointing it out-

Thank you Nathan for your comment! I never personally had any issues or problems whatsoever with the rifle. I traded it to get a different rifle, but while I owned it it was flawless. I shot 1000’s of rounds of steel case ammo through it and it preformed beautifully. I still HIGHLY recommend it, especially if it’s a first AR for you. A flawless gun that performs, allows you to spend your time training, and not repairing or replacing parts. Solid- 👊👊

Micheal, these two options are virtually identical in many ways. Both made in America, and have similar features. I’m partial to the SA because of the standard BCM furniture, and proprietary BCG. The IWI comes in a little cheaper in price if that makes a difference. I recently transitioned to an AR pistol because I train tactically and the 11.5” barrel makes manipulations and transitions to secondary much more fluid and has a lighter overall weight. Something to consider when making your decision. Also check out Son’s of Liberty Gun Works M4 pistols. Another excellent American made manufacturer out of San Antonio. J Hogan, the iron sights that came on the gun were adjustable. A button on the side of the sight pushes in, and you can adjust them up or down!

Thank you for your comment, I also changed the charging handle as I needed ambidextrous. I mentioned it in the review the one I chose one from BCM and have loved it. No issues at all. Highly recommend them!

@@russellsgunsandgear I’ve only shot maybe 30 shots on it and it’s brand new, is there a reason why the shells get stuck or double feed?

@@microshaft3109 it may be a reciprocating issue, or check the ammo. Sometimes ammo these days can be shotty. If all else fails, return to the seller and inquire about an exchange. 30 rounds is way to soon to be having those issues in such a high quality rifle. Hope that helps, Best-

@@microshaft3109 are you shooting brass-cased ammo & getting failure to extract? Sounds like steel-case ammo, if you bought the cheapest, steel-case Russian ammo (Wolf, Silver Bear) you can expect feed & extraction problems from almost any AR-15, they are designed for brass case ammo and the usually higher-accuracy button-rifled AR barrels generally get worn out after 10,000 rounds of the cheap Russian copper-washed steel-jacketed bullets. AK rifle barrels outlast with steel-jacketed ammo because they use hammer-forged barrels usually at the expense of accuracy. Saint Victor also uses a hammer forged barrel, & with a nitrided coating so it’ll probably outlast most other AR-15 barrels in its price-range shooting steel-cased steep-jacketed ammo, you probably have the best chance for being able to shoot dirty steel-cased Russian ammo, maybe break in the rifle with some cheap white box brass-cased ammo and get it lubed before trying the cheap dirty steel case ammo

Thank you for your comment. So, that was two rifles ago and I never had an issue with the magnifier causing and issues based on its placement. The pic rail length dictated the placement on the rifle. It worked beautifully for me, so no problem. But, thank you for your input 👊👊
