Ayo! Time for me to do something that has LONG been in the making - my first squishy makeover video! Well, more like just painting the squishies.
Landon and I love Moriah Elizabeth and her squishy makeovers, and were inspired to give it a try. I promised my 10 year-old, Landon that we would do a squishy makeover 4 years ago and never followed through! It's time to make good on that promise.

I love that his room is as dark and spooky too. Its great that Landon shares love of that and art with you. Just having fun with squishies is so fun.

That's good cuz at his age i was terrified by them. I always thought freddy or Jason was under the bed lol 🤣 glad now I'm more like they're super cool and the horror is made up not real so they aren't the boogeyman

Love this video and seeing Landon. Loved your spooky take and Landon’s more traditional look, another talented artist in the making 😊 I think Moriah used a mix of puffy and slick paints? Maybe it helps some colours stick more. Definitely need more in the series.

This is adorable! I remember having things like that with my daughter before I have birth to my son and ending up in the hospital for most of that time meant I reallllly failed there. So mama you are not a failure!! You’re an amazing mama!!! You can see how comfortable he is with you (and on camera haha) love the Pokémon!!!!! ❤

Ugh! I had an extended hospital stay when giving birth to Phoebe too. It's awful. It was nice to sit down and do something just the two of us though. 💕

Omg! When you mentioned Dutch Bros I gasped! Just last year I tried it for the first time and it has been my favorite ever since! I am originally from somewhere where they don't exist so I had never heard of it until recently. So when I moved, everyone talked about it all the time and it was love at first sip. I'm so glad I now live somewhere in which they are prominent.

It's definitely easier now. I struggled for a long time with him always comparing our art and getting down on himself for not being "as good as me." It made him never want to do anything artsy with me. Now that he's older, he's a much better sport.

Such a cute way to bring back your promise, have fun and do a project together. Oh, don’t forget to sand the squishy before painting. According to Moria E. it helps the paint stick.

Thank you! Agreed. I don't think it would have been very productive to try this 4 years ago. When I do another, I will definitely want to try some squishy surgery to make something truly unique.

Probably showing my age here a little, but I don't understand the fascination with the squishies 🤷🤷. Im guessing its a Moriah Elizabeth thing, but she's not someone I really watch except her early CTB vids. That said...truth be told, I'd watch you paint spark plugs if that's what you wanted to do because you're just that good!! So in the spirit of a truly obsessed subscriber... I'll watch whatever you decide to do! Even squishy makeovers 😊.

I love all your stuff, but this one was hard to watch because the speed of your painting progress kept making me sick. I get motion sick very easily. I have not had this issue on any of your previous videos... maybe because they are 2-dimensional art on paper, and these were 3-dimensional squishies...? Maybe you did make it faster than you normally do? Whatever the reason, I really struggled to enjoy a video I was super excited to watch (yay, squishies!). P.s. your spawn is super adorbs, and I love the collab!!

I do think it probably had something to do with the 3d, because it was actually slower speed than my normal videos. Watching Moriah's squishy videos though, she doesn't really do a lot of time lapse stuff, showing everything from start to finish, just shows the odd stroke here and there and maybe that's the way to do it for these videos.

I love to see this collaboration. I did a squishy makeover on my channel with my daughter too! We love watching them but I was nervous to make them. I am also super excited to see another artist who loves creepy stuff.
