@@lukebarazin1416 🙌🏼🙌🏼 unfortunately I don’t, the only times I have are from the drag strip and my best time was 11.6 on Stage 2+ E40. I should definitely look into getting a dragy tho

Was looking into getting a mk5 supra. But it’s really not the right time for me to spend that kind of money right now. So I’ve been looking at my next best options which are the F30 340i and f22 m240i. And you definitely got me wanting to get the m240i! The body shape is kinda similar to the Supra and weigh less then the 340i. Which is everything I want in my next purchase. Keep pumping out these vids! They will definitely help once I get mine.

Bro that’s almost the exact situation I was in at the time I bought my M240i and I don’t regret it for a second. Of course the Supra looks more aggressive but the F22 is more rare than the MKV and F30, and it drives very similar to the supra. Plus like you said it’s lighter than the F30 and it also has 2 more seats than a Supra does. Either way tho you’ll be in a B58 so that’s a W. Appreciate the support🙏🏼🙏🏼

Exact same situation, I need the two extra seats and I’m not gonna be dropping 15-20k more for only a B58TU and only two seats, I’d rather upgrade to a g80 or something in the future lol

Oh bro you’re gonna love it🤧 once you go BMW you never go back hahah but I forgot to mention that you need an upgraded HPFP to run Stage 2+ which you can just get a TU pump for like $400. Other than a better HPFP, all you need is a Downpipe🔥

I would only recommend upgrading your HPFP if you have e85 in your area, otherwise the extra ~20whp you’d gain from Stage 2 to Stage 2+ on pump gas isn’t really worth $400. But if you have e85 you can run e40/e50 and it’s like 70whp gains it’s crazy

Have you driven any M models with the DCT? If so, how does it compare to the ZF auto?

Yeah I have! The DCT is definitely faster and a little more fun but the even coming from owning a DSG before a ZF, I’m surprised at how fast and smooth the ZF transmission is. The transmission really shines with xhp tho so I’d definitely recommend getting that

These 240i are really interesting to me. In my opinion, if you're looking for a roll and drag racing vehicle this is a better option than the base M2 that has the N55. Or is there something fancy about that particular N55? The B58 seems to be the way to go. M2C obviously a different story Wish these came with nice sport seats

Yeah the B58 is definitely the way to go, but the M2C is also an amazing platform and outperforms the B58 in a lot of ways. But yeah that would be sick if these came with some type of M seats as an add on

Definitely a tough decision. The 18 M2 will be a more fun overall experience but the 22 M240i will be more comfortable and can make more power but you really can’t go wrong either way it just depends what you want to get out of it. If you want a lot of power go with the M240 but if you want something you can throw around and drift and stuff then definitely get the M2

That’s the worst😭 I remember running stage 1 e30 tho and it still rips so hard! I think it’s pretty equivalent to stage 2+ on pump gas

I do the stage 2 with MHD and i have a doubt, in the sports displays it keeps telling me that I have 340 hp, you know if that’s its correct? or how i could fix it

That’s weird it didn’t change your gauge numbers! But fortunately it’s just a gimmick and not actually accurate so it doesn’t really matter, but you could try to reflash and see if it fixes the gauges 🤔

@@Broke-Media not really, you can easily run 550 WHP on vargas GC or pure 800 no supporting mods other then TU pump and DP

No I never really got used to it and it was always fun but if I ever wanted a little more I’d run some e85 and run my e40 tune so It felt even faster 🔥

What’s up bro so I’m planing to do mhd stage 1 93 but since I was reading and you also say the correction is kinda high or whatever should I not even bother to go 93 and just do 91 and fill up with 93 or should I give it a try. I don’t want my correction to be off this is my first tuning platform came from a Lexus is before haha thanks

What’s up man! You can run the 93 tune and you probably wouldn’t have to worry much tbh, the b58 is just sensitive to octane but corrections are there to help your engine so it doesn’t misfire and all it does it affect the power a little when there are corrections so if you wanna run 93 go for it but if you wanna be EXTRA safe then have some fun on the 93 tune and then switch to run the 91 tune daily but fill up with 93 which is what I did really to just help decrease any possibilities

I’m sure there are so many people that don’t even pay attention to that stuff and never have a problem, I just like to bring it up because it just an extra step you can take to help protect your engine health and not have a decrease in performance because of the corrections

Difference between stage 2 93 and stage 2+ 93 is pretty small, it mainly feels smoother and slightly more torque with more power top end but the difference when you run stage 2+ e40 is huge and that what I’d get it for if you have e85 available

@@Broke-Media okay awesome thank you. i'll be picking one of these up in a few weeks & im very excited. unfortunately we dont have any E at the pumps widely available in NJ. 500hp should be plenty for a car of this weight. & if i need more theres some hybrid turbo options that seem quite reasonably priced.

No I still need to do that but I believe it’s around 415whp from what I’ve seen. For reference tho, I know e40 gives it about 50-60whp more and my buddies M240i dyno’d at 473whp on Stg 2+ e40

@@catalin.c that’s weird, there’s no way that’s right. I’m pretty sure you’re supposed to do 6th gear without a limiter and if your Dyno can handle the speed or 4th if it can’t. Also maybe it was a mustang dyno and reads really low?🤔

It feels fast but in drag times its not..with that weight and stage 2 about 450 470hp it should be down to mid to high 11 not high 12..or the absence of limited slip its the reason

You’re not wrong, in the “real world” it’s not really fast and it runs low 11’s at best. Although it’s size and power definitely make it feel fast and is perfect for a daily
