Towards the break up I have never played mind games, although i dont wanna let go of the relationship, I just respected his decision and what he felt during that time. Its been 2 months of no contact now. My feelings is in much better place and I could go on life with less depressing episodes. The reason he doesnt want a relationship was he needed to mend his relationship with the children/ juggle crazy work shift/have time to himself. In short, he started a new relationship too early.... I believe in open communication, understanding, and emotional connection. We both have that but it is out of my hand whatever he decide at that time. As the dumrper (for a 3rd time), I'm going thru the stages. I had a long conversation 3 mos ago w/him about what I need vs what he's willing to give. He doesn't want to even see me exclusively yet called me his gf. We've been seeing each other over a year. He calls/texts/sees me a lot, sometimes multiple times a day. We care for each other, but I've given him plenty of time. I see that he won't change. He wants gf privileges without giving up anything and keeping his options open. So I dumped him for a good reason after trying to work it out. I won't be contacting him in the future, even tho I'm missing him. We're missing each other. I hope the heartache passes quickly because it's painful. But I'm trying to move on and will not go back w/him. He wasted my time for selfish purposes. Every situation is different. But I can verify that the stages this video talks about, for the dumper, are true. It doesn't matter, though, unless you want to change whatever caused the breakup and get the dumper back. Final word on blocking. I didn't block him on my phone, but did block him on FB, because I was compulsively checking to see his new "friends" or when he was on FB (to see what his schedule is, etc.). So I blocked him to stop myself from doing that. I don't care what others think about that. I have to do what's best for me, finally. I did the breaking up, but I'm not the one who caused it.

Hi so I’ve been in no contact for a month and maybe 2-3 weeks, I feel a lot better, not viewing stories and checking up, and I think we are experiencing the break up differently She’s in the relief stage right now, you know going to parties and hanging out with her friends a lot and making it seem like the heartbreak isn’t affecting her, while I was weak at one point and couldn’t cope, and I think in the end I’ll start going into relief because I feel a lot lighter but some days I think about her but I know I’m getting better because thinking about her doesn’t phase me as much anymore, so no contact does work

After four months, I got blocked but its because I invaded her privacy. I messed up and did something out of character. My phone broke so I needed a replacement till I got mine so I used my dads old phone which she used before and I forgot about it till I got it.
