You said this isn’t groundbreaking but actually it is! This is something that I can sit and do on Sunday afternoon and going through all of my stamps and picking out some that I had forgotten about and using them to pre-make stamps for journals or scrapbooking! All of the videos you make have been helpful to me. Thank you so much for your creativity and ideas.
Such a great idea to stamp ahead! Now I can have an excuse to go through all of the stamp I haven't used for a while!. I love the stamp you used in the video, do you remember where you got them from?
Thanks so much for some more great ideas, Tasha. Yes, we need to be in the moment NOW with this Pandemic. So sad. I watched this twice late last night. Today I just wanted to do something fun as we are self isolated in my apt. bldg. This is what I did! For hrs.! I am a stamped first (since '90) so dug out some old, old stamps. I had such fun doing that and seeing "my old friends " again. Tomorrow I am going to make one sided cards(as many as I can) w/some of those little words, deliver them w/scarf over mouth, to cheer up some residents here. I will do some every day. May God have mercy on us.
Natasa you totally had me in stitches 😂 when you looked at your cluster and said "what's this it's got a staple in the middle?" But when you add a bit of stamping on top it has a focal point. You are a total inspiration ❤️🥰
I sure wish I had found Natasha at Treasure Books back then!! I did find a couple others, and they were good stress relievers, but there is something about these carefree methods and personalities, like Natasha, and a couple other of my favorites have. No rules! Soft spoken, easy to do crafting, and easy to make them my way, using what I have.
Oh I just saw the dolphins in your nice brown cover journal. I love dolphins. The make the most of the moment your in page. Love your stamps of words you made.
I really enjoyed the whole "making ephemera" series. I'm fairly new to journal making and I found figuring out what to put on the pages overwhelming. But now i feel like I can make batches of different ephemera and then just relax and decorate the pages and have plenty of choices. Thanks so much for this series..
I’ve been mass making junk journal envelopes and looking for some little bits to add to the pockets. I love that I can mass make these stamped cards just for that purpose. FYI I love the little booklet you made from scraps. I think I will make some of those too for my envelopes. All good stuff in this video…as always💕
Thanks for this very much inspiration TUTORIAL ... with someone who has A LOT OF STAMPS & just looked @ them just as a stamp to decorate a page WOW 🤩 I have much stamping to do tonight @12:15am in Columbus, Oh. Everyone where you are in my Prayers. God Is A Healer & Good. TFS 😊🤗
I can't believe how simple and satisfying this is! Power outage the other day so I took some scraps/stamps/stamp pad to the front porch and knocked out a pile of these fun little bits. I never thought to make them until your video. TFS!
Thanks for such a simple but effective idea! I’m going to do this today! Since a while ago you suggested having items already made I’ve been doing that. This is really useful thanks x take care!
Wow, just had a session watching your ephemera videos. I have watched them all before, but thought I would treat myself to a binge whilst doing my Sunday baking and getting the roast ready. Im babbling, sorry. Thank you for sharing all your ideas, I am very inspired to go to my room and start doing ephemera, have a wonderful day and stay safe xx
hehe not babbling at all. I could see a picture of it in my head, and considering I am so hungry right now, I could also smell all the beautiful Sunday baking smells, oh and the roast!! Yummmmy!! Thank you so much for your support Michelle :)
holaaaa!!
If you're a bit crazy, sometimes, please keep it up, because I love what you create and watching your videos. I love your JJ and it's perfect timing for a project I'm trying to complete. I keep getting stuck and starting over again. I have plenty of ephemera to use up. Well said. We do need to enjoy and appreciate each and everyday. Keep well, and thanks, Natasa.
Thank you so much Leanda!! I see you've watched the whole video and took out the two most important lessons: a little crazy is ok, and appreciating every moment is important :) hehe Thank you. I'm so glad you feel inspired and un-stuck.
Thank you so much Liz. A lot of my stuff comes from thrift stores, and I also sometimes get stuff from fb marketplace. I don't recall ever buying stamps from an actual shop :)
LOL "I'm not totally crazy", and I thought only sometimes? And you say "I'm only crazy sometimes" baahahaha. I love the semi mindless (crazy?) busy play that you show us. Little things we can sit and do and enjoy for some quiet busy time. Play is therapeutic. Thanks, Natasa!
Just darling! Love your use of scraps and stamps. Also I really appreciate that you don't waste our time with mundane or trivial cutting, glueing, etc. You are very considerate of your followers. Love your videos!
Thanks. This is something I've been wanting to do for a while, so it's nice to see how much the bits add to your journal. And you have such a pleasant voice! But this video had too many ad interruptions! There were 4!
Hahahaaaaa, you said: “I am only crazy sometimes “... but I said, I am crazy most of the time and it makes me happy 😃. And when the video is almost finished you said “It’s nothing “ ...well well girl let me tell you that everything is something and you have an 👁 for making beautiful things from “nothin”. You are an amazing artist and I love you because you’re so talented and very very humble with an angel voice ♥️. Greetings from an old mom of 53 years from a beautiful Island 🏝 Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
I have watched this video so many times! And I do not get tired of watching it. Thank you so very much for making this video. I absolutely love the journal where you're putting everything in! ~ Ivy X♡
Wonderful idea and I love your approach to journaling! Why should you have to write something everyday? Lovely journal you’ve got there! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and ideas! Inspired to stamp my morning away on the scraps on my table! Thank you!
Thank you Theresa. We don't need to write ANY day. We can glue, draw, paint, and find all the healing in just that. :) Right? I'm glad you feel inspired :)
Today I'm in a blah state, don't feel like being creative but know it will help shift my mood. Thanks for such a simple, easy, no think I inspirational video. Just what I needed. I really enjoy your videos even when they appear simple or common sense.
I love this video. I have done a ton of little embellishments and smaller little flips, pockets, and little booklet that are ready to go. Thanks for sharing.
You've definitely inspired me. Dropping everything to do some stamping while I'm thinking about it. And a great excuse to watch a show while I do it. :-) Thanks for sharing!
Beautiful ! Learning learning 🎶. Not sure you will read this comment, but I have been watching you for 2 weeks haha. “Treasurebooksflix” ... could you tell me how to get the vintage kids that I often see on your work, like a boy sitting with American retro or classic clothes? Sorry English not my first language, I am still improving my vocabulary.
Now I know why I have collected my Stamps. A really great Idea with the DVD Boxes. I have lot of these empty Boxes here. Now I know to use them. Great Idea.
Thank you! This is just what I was looking for...didn't know it until I saw this. I have so many word stamps since I make greeting cards and look forward to using them for this. Of course I have a lot of off-cuts since I can't bear to throw away scraps that look like they can still be used somehow. I enjoy making things in batches to have ready to use later.
i really enjoy your ideas. I am new to this fun process and really like "homemade" ephemera so much better than commercial items. This is so helpful. And I just have to say - you have the prettiest hands! :)
Ooh, you just gave me an idea! I've collected a lot of stamps from family members and it's getting to the point that I don't even know what I have. I can make a catalogue of my stamps and perhaps make pockets containg these individual images. A lot easier than me rummaging through stamps all of the time.
I watched this tutorial last night and for the first time ever today I got out some stamps & inks & created some ... hmmm what? Focal points? Toppers? Who knows but I'm really happy with the results. Thank you so much for inspiring me ... cheers from Australia 🦘 💝
