We continue our Utah/ N. AZ vanlife journey to Page, Arizona where we visited the famous antelope canyon but without a tour! We stand-up paddle boarded to antelope canyon where we docked our SUPs and hiked in the canyon.
An amazing DIY adventure!

Just found your channel this week. We are headed to this area soon. We are not much for stand up paddleboarding, but thought we could kayak it. Thank you for sharing! :)

fantastic video! What month did you go? Was there enough water in the lake? We wanted to go at the end of May but they told us that at that time the lake is low on water and it is difficult to get to the ramp with the rental kayak.

Thank you! I think it was either April or May. The water also really low when we went which made it a bit challenging at points. I seem to remember having to carry our paddle boards down a steep hill because of how low the water level was.

Did you need some kind of reservation to do this? also, was it free or did you have to pay for entrance/parking? great adventure!

Thanks! No, you don’t need any reservation for this! If there was paid parking we don’t remember, so if there was, it was probably was small. Are you planning a trip out there soon?

The paddle boarding took us about 1 hour to go the 3 miles (each way). We hiked in the canyon for a total of about 6.5 miles in 4 hours.
