Just a note, There is a real battle ship named the Enterprise, it is in history and is or was currently in service with the US Navy. Many years ago I seen it docked in the Washington State harbor I think it was in Bremerton. She was beautiful and I believe she was an aircraft carrier. 👍🖖
Excellent work. The subtle effects in lighting and detail are awesome! Whenever I'm not in an optimistic frame of mind, I make sure to watch these animations and immediately get back on track.
My absolute all-time favorite is definitely the Ambassador class Enterprise C. I love its somewhat semi-retro profile and throwback design platform - makes me think of a super beefed-up, heavily augmented, and massive Constitution class on steroids.
This is absolutely beautiful from beginning to end. The music and the ships. I love that version of the Enterprise theme. It's like you made every class of ship look its absolute best. Further confirms, for me anyway, that the Enterprise D is the apex of elegance and beauty.
I have seen many Enterprise ships, but for me, the only "real" one remains the D with captain Picard! The first one I saw in TNG series, but even now I love it!
Ogamer Joe The next Generation will always be my favorite Star Trek series it was my introduction to Star Trek and it just remain that way since. The Enterprise D was design so well and it remains a beauty I have many toys of the ship
tacutul2 Captain Picard is my favorite Star Trek character and when he commend the galaxy class Enterprise You knew he has strong leadership and the enterprise D is just one awesome ship
Same. It's the last of the canonical Enterprises that doesn't suffer from an overly busy hull design. All subsequent starships have endless bumps and lumps that take away from the Enterprise's elegant looks.
I know these are from the series, but I would have like to see the first space shuttle, the aircraft carrier, and the schooners of the real world. Not the same I know but they all still carried the name Enterprise
@@darrenheadrick3669 That's nerdiness to another level. Hehe. Would have been nice though. To show the Enterprise transition from its first sails to the stars.
Brilliant animation once again! The attention to detail, color and lighting is really good. I really like the nacelle glow and light reflection on the hull plating of each awesome starship! Great job sir!
This was very well done, in spite of its limitations. And it's made me very nostalgic for the Star Trek that existed before JJ Abrams took over the franchise. And unlike BM BM I could see a design progression between F, G, and H that said some interesting things about where you thought Federation ship design might go, fifty to a hundred years beyond Voyager and the The Next Generation Movies.
Any one who made such a Video forgot the iconic Historical USS Enterprise. The only spaceship we really build up with that name. It is a spaceshuttle yes but it carrys the name Enterprise.
Once you went past Enterprise-E, I was really hoping that you were going all the way to the Enterprise-J, since there is an existing picture of it in the Enterprise television series. You only need to come up with a concept ship for the I, like you did for the F, G, and H (that transitions well from the H to J), and develop a model from the pic for the 'J'. Still loved the video you made and did 'like' it!
You should have added the NCC-1701-A instead of the JJ Enterprise. I know the 1701-A is the same design as the refit 1701 but it's still part of the Enterprise history. Also the JJ Enterprise is from a completely different timeline. Glad to see the Enterprise-E the Nemesis version.
wrong WRONG its not the JJ Enterprise he was the director of the movie the ship was made by and developed into photo-realistic models by Alex Jaeger's team i wish haters would at least get the info right
@@OverHyped42 Mad much? I don't care what team developed it. Pretty much everyone calls it the JJ Prise and generally the director has to sign off on the final version. If you don't like the fact people call it the JJ Prise then keep your comments to yourself instead of being an asshole.
no bro just pointed out your mistake.. learn star trek before you comment snowflake JJ was the guy who directed the film, not the writer or the ship builder.. shame you fake trekkies know nothing.
@@OverHyped42 I know my Star Trek, been a fan since watching re-runs of TOS as a kid (born in 1981) and have seen EVERY incarnation of Star Trek. I am not a snow flake stop being an asshole.
My favorite is the Ambassador class/Enterprise C hands down. It combines a semi-retro aesthetic very reminiscent of the classic Constitution class profile with the sleek refined platform of later designs. My only problem with this video is that Enterprises F, G, and H all look practically identical.
_Enterprise-C_ would make a great show - a balance of "realistic" future Trek stuff without _quite_ as many of the treknobabble engineering macguffins which dominated TNG/etc.
Well l never cared for NG for that reason among several - l always thought that the show vastly overindulged in all of that uber nerdy technobabble at the expense of strong characterization and character development. As a result l found the principals of the series to all be extremely one or two dimensional, without the chemistry and depth of humanity so iconically portrayed by TOS.
Well done. Looks like as the ships progressed (F to H) they had an eerie sameness to NX-01 Enterprise. The nacelles were closer to the body and more streamlined. LL&P 🖖
Awesome video, thanks for doing this. I love it….👍❤️. My favorite Enterprise starships are of course the TOS version, the refit, the D, and NX-01….NX-01 being smaller, but also more compact. The D version combines elegance with simplicity and functionality. The TOS and refit versions speaks for themselves, I love the designs of both. I also had model kits of both and they both had real lights in them to light up the model’s windows and nancells. I lost them while moving to another city. I’ve been a Star Trek fan from the very beginning when it first aired in the 60’s, and will always be one. I also think that space exploration is possible but NOT with the way things are going right now on this planet and with technology. Plus, even though great strides have been made in technology, it is still in its infancy and unable to make the jump into the future of space travel and exploration. A lot more needs to be done before that will ever happen….one of them being shielding against the cosmic radiation that is prevalent in space and unseen. Our planet helps in protecting us from all sorts of cosmic threats that we are unaware of as yet. 🖖👍❤️🚀
I believe there were smaller pre-warp ships also named Enterprise - one of them was a delta shaped Space Shuttle - clearly seen briefly as during the Enterprise TV series beginning video intro. Why is it not here?
0:52-1:30 My two favorite designs. :) The TMP refit brought me into Star Trek when I was only 3. The Kelvin Timeline version rekindled my love for Trek years later. I know people have their gripes about the KT version, but I personally love it. Mostly because I see all sorts of design flairs that remind me of the TMP refit. It's like it's saying "She's never really gone so long as we remember her".
Already converted into an MP3 and playing everyday in my Hybrid Vehicle (that looks suspiciously like a Shuttlecraft on wheels) during my daily commute to and from work 👨🚀🚀
Thank you for that. It was truly amazing and very impressive. You brought tears to my eyes. It's so interesting to me how Trek fans can see how a ship can change over time yet keep the design elements from the past. Yet the current Star Trek, just completely screws everything up and they say its prime? pfft. Anyways, thank you for this and LOVED the music!
Would have liked to see the refit NX-01 from what would have been ENT's fifth season. Unlike what we saw in the first four seasons it would have had a downward protruding secondary hull and was stylized in a direction foreshadowing the TOS Enterprise. No love for F through H. Too similar looking and they have no "neck" to really separate the secondary hull from the primary (saucer section). Plus this video had them fly by so close you never got to see the underside like you did with the other prior ships.
I look forward to the stories of Enterprise NCC-1701-C and it's crew which are largely untold I believe; except for 1 or 2 episodes now. 2019. The Star Trek universe is flexible that way, skipping forward or backward in time but nearly always predicting our future as it "may" become one day! It is great to set the ideals of an "ideal" future down in writing and craft paths to be followed, or explored. Even simple comments such this may be read and inspire thinking about the future of humanity and how civilization may one day be managed. Yes, managed, with roles to be filled by people from every nation and where the VALUE of educating everyone is as important as feeding us. I barely believe we understand this yet (2019) because around the world people are hungry and starving, people are foraging in city dumps and trash piles looking for scraps of food that won't kill them! Oh my goodness, we are a planet of- what is even the best word to describe it- selfish egocentric maniacs? Each nation trying to better itself, but not always free from being at the expense of others' hard work. This seems to be a big problem even though supply and demand (trade) experts might argue a thriving nation needs lesser nations to support it. Really? Is this true or only because we lack the imagination to see parity working as an actual thing! People are paid a "living wage" in the society where they work, otherwise mortality rates would be vastly worse; yet "living" is not "thriving". Gene Roddenberry imagined one half of the answer free of moral ambiguity, with dynamic rules we might call "well considered" and hundreds or thousands of Science Fiction authors continue that tradition today! Mr. Roddenberry was not the first person to do it, yet somehow the legacy of his effort has proliferated and is loved deeply! What is next for humanity? What steps in our evolution as a species will we determine are the most important? Why isn't the planet yet united together under a single flag? Why do we believe any deity would be "pleased" with or encouraging of, our capacity to kill each other? This last question needs to be translated into many languages and shared around the world so a future of starships and peaceful coexistence even among ourselves will [ultimately] be realized. Young people need to learn this message, take their futures and "Make it so!"
nice but the enterprise from the cage and 2nd pilot had differences to rest of TOS series, the motion picture version was an upgraded enterprise then came a new enterprise the A, how come these wasn't included
Lindo. Estão de parabéns. Continuo encantada pela série Star Trek. Quem sabe daqui a duas encarnações farei parte da tripulação de uma nave da federação. Todas as conquistas científicas começaram por um sonho.... 💫💫
These fly by passes were presented at an unusual angle for this type thing. I found it really lent some depth and size to the ships. The big "D" was the only one I didn't get impression from. That ship has always been really hard to do in CGI for a realistic portrayal. Can't fault the guy for trying though. It was as good an attempt as any out there..
The original Perimeter Action ship always appealed to me, the NX style, and I imagined the small stories of it's crew on the furthest reaches of Federation occupied space! Where nobody has gone before, cataloging new worlds and making First Contact month after month (because the capacity to move between stars is so evolved). Starships might stream out from Earth one day leaving trails like ants all across the galaxy, and following each path will be Colony ships with pioneers, energy generators and tools, yes even robots to help carry the workload. Behind the pioneers will be scientists, engineers and researchers seeking to exploit the resources of each new star system, strengthening the colonies and growing beyond supply and demand economics. When the fundamental drive becomes survival and the goals clear, every ounce, every second of productivity will become valued! In this future nobody will be left behind and our first long range starships will carry a banner of peace, a banner of people who finally "get it" and live it.
Needs updating...needs Kelvin timeline 1701-A (seen at the end of Beyond)....then the "Discoprize" from Discovery. Also there is the Odyssey class 1701-F from Star Trek Online. And the 1701-J from "Enterprise"…
Hmm, I think the F, G, and H Enterprises are configured too identically to the E. Heck, they looked damn near identical save for slightly different paint jobs and nacelle designs. I think there should have been an evolution away from the E's layout, perhaps trending towards the J model.
Since ST: Picard showed Starfleet is going "retro" with their new designs, why can't the producers use the Ambassador prototype by Andrew Probert? It looks very modern and would look like a contemporary of the Constitution III class.
