This game clearly takes place during the 5th film. After they find Vader in cloud city, the rebels and the empire agreed to try and end the war peacefully with a dance off. The game leaves out the ending where Vader gets schooled by Solo, calls the whole thing off and then decides to freeze him in carbonite. Lucas had to cut it from the original film, but was planning on including it in the super-duper extra special edition before he sold the rights to Disney
MonteCreations "The game leaves out the ending where Vader gets schooled by Solo, calls the whole thing off and then decides to freeze him in carbonite" Are you talking about a game ending?
Actually no, this game is no longer canon ever since Disney bought full rights to it. The things they left canon are: The Original Trilogy Prequel Trilogy The Third Trilogy Clone Wars (2009) Rebels Old Republic (2012) Everything else like Kinect, Force Unleashed and comics/books are completely thrown out the window, just so they can start over with new things, and I'm rather happy about that. The only thing that saddens me that's gone, is the KOTOR series, but oh well, we still have the recent Old Republic.
Oran Neeson uhhhh they’re talking about the first one not the second these comments where made in 2016 the other one is 2017 idiot or maybe it was after the release.
^ well said, unless battlefront EA is less than $10 I have no interest, the beta was free so I can't complain. The game had very little to it. 1 of the biggest game fails of 2015
"Oh and by the way this game is cannon." Holy shit. I can see it now: Star Wars Rogue One. The main character has gone undercover into the Death Star. She is working her way up the ranks and finally becomes one of Vader's trusted pilots. She sees a chance to steal the Death Star plans and sneaks away to a small room to steal them. She grabs it, puts it into her pocket, and them the door opens. Darth Vader walks in followed by Stormtroopers walking in double file and spreading out to cover the room. "I can explain", the main character says. Darth Vader peers through his mask. "No. There is no talk... There is only dance!" Two Stormtroopers enter, one carrying a boom box and the other hooks up a disco ball. The one carrying the boom box turns it on and suddenly the room dims and the disco ball turns on. The boom box blasts "AND THE HATERS GONNA HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE AND THE SITH JUST GONNA SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE SHAKE!"
I dont think so.. since Disney brougth star wars. Because the subjugator class ship(malvolence) didnt exist in that era, nor the super batltle droid and im not even sure about the providence class ship... and did you see the size of the fleet!!! No trandoshan merc cant have an enough bigger fleet to attack Coruscant. None of them!
pc gamingk canon means in a work of fiction if something is considered officially apart of the story If something is canon then it really is apart of the real story and happened at some point Non- canon is when it's not actually apart of the story and never happened
pooptuber You're right! Funny, that I always thought that palindrome is a breed of camels, that transit through desert with Michael Palin on their back..
A classic gem, crazy to think how joe has been releasing consistently great reviews for over ten years and hasn’t gotten stale or fallen off or anything
@@tubey84 not really I’ve been watching joe for ove3 13 years now. He’s only less consistent in uploading review’s because he’s more busy now. But his views and quality has basically stayed the same
You know what...the Galactic Dance Off Game might have been liked more if it was a hidden mode and not part of the main five: just a playful Easter Egg.
ltwargssf R lol lucasarts made this game before disney bought it, disney gave the rights to make star wars games to EA, and dice is making star wars battlefront, something lucasarts failed to do in 8 years
I heard Disney putting Jar Jar in the new Star Wars they say its a rumor but Jar Jar is the kind of Character that Disney gravitates to, to make their movies appeal to small kids.
Joeyal123 disney didnt do anything like that to marvel, the marvel movies have been some of the best movies of the last few years. And they've got members of the original cast, and jj Abrams behind the new movie. so no, disney is not gonna fuck it up by trying to make it appeal to small children.
13:29 - 14:11 had me DYING!! Especially when you were watching/intimating Other Joe while he was playing ... oh damn...I still got tears in my eyes from the laughter!! Hahahaha!!
because he let the prequels happen and it made him say, "fuck it, i already made 3 shitty prequels. one crappy game wont destroy my fanbase as bad as those damn prequels"
+Zed Crix The prequel movies are alright. Episode I was kinda entertaining, Episode II was not too great, but the droid fabric and Geonosis battle scenes were awesome, and Episode III was dark and overall pretty good. The original movies were not that much better, as some characters feel kinda lifeless (especially Luke, which might also explain Anakin's overall poor performance: they are father and son, so it's normal for them to share some similarities). Also, Obi-Wan was a great character.
"So do they [work]? Yeeeesss.... AND FUCKIN' NO!" The years of Microsoft trying desperately to shove out an incomplete and non-functional technology with their consoles summed up into one sentence. It's not that the Kinect literally never functions. It just does when it feels like, which is far, far worse somehow. Ugh.
if it's the actual meaning like saying "oh shit" i don't think he''l censor it but if he says "i took a shit" he'll bleep it.(or the other way around i'm not completely sure)
Anybody else feel as though a game where you swing around a lightsaber would have been better suited to something like the wiimote or the PS Move? Holding something physical would have felt more immersive than playing with an "air" lightsaber.
I think the reason Kinect fails on most games is because...well look at the Wii Remote, it at least has a sensor that the motion bar can pick up, here it's just your hands and body movement no sensor so it's a bit harder I think, as body language is a thing and not as perfect as sensor would be. WELL sometimes but point is without a sensor the Kinect has to read "a ton" of movements far more than the Wii can do, we're just not at that right time for such clear and perfect "use your body for motion control" yet, at least as far as I know some games can do it very well but those are rare.
cody2819 ok let me reformat that Playstations motion controles are called playststion move and use tdchnologie used in motion capture wich makes it verry acurate and allows for more precise movement thanks to the sixaxis system
I bought the special edition R2-D2 xbox and got this game with it as a bonus and as a hardcore star wars fan. I found it fun to play for laughs. Its defiantly not a game I would take seriously but it was funny. I enjoyed it. I wouldn't ever spend money on it though hahaha
Lol both of his friends are completely jacked and meanwhile there's AJ who's stomach enters the room a solid 5 seconds before he does. You either die healthy, or live long enough to see yourself get the dad bod. Lol. He would look very similar to how he looks in these old reviews if he lost 50 or so pounds.
What is silly is there was already a camera game with lightsabers and hand waving for force powers. Can't remember the name, but it was a plug and play game. The camera was a remote droid and you had a little lightsaber. It was awesome.
Honestly, we need Star Wars dance off as a stand alone game with multiple modes, online live multiplayer and competitive leaderboards. Everything I saw from it so far looks glorious and amazingly amusing.
Everyone saying fuck disney because of this game even though it came out before Disney bought the company. What a laugh, I've seen what Disney has been doing lately. If anything I'm positive Disney will make Star Wars better then ever.
Adam Greensides Were you a fan of Star Trek prior to the reboots? Abrams threw away pretty much everything that was cannon from the show and explained it with "Oh somebody travelled through time" J.J. Abrams is not a good director, he's a wannabe Michael Bay.
Jake Heyes I understand what your saying I grew up on the old star trek but it didn't have the same impact it did years before it just wasn't very popular any more which is why it wasn't getting made anymore and for a franchise that was stale and boring that couldn't re do old thing they have to move with the time and do something different some hard core fans were disappointed but other than that the 2 new star trek films were a big success, having said that I still love old star trek but I like new star trek to, as for star wars that was the same when the new one came out it didn't have the same effect it once had and alot of people think George ruined it so something different had to be done but it's going to be better because George isn't directing there reuniting the old cast with new and that's an awesome just thinking about it. I disagree that Abrahams is a wanna be michael bay because it's been said that that with the new star wars jj is relying alot more on practical effects rather than cgi
My god its been years since i first watch this. Been up for over 20 hours and decided to watch some old vids. Damn forgot how young joe looked back then x3. Still great content and holds up today still
This review is still friggin hilarious. I just laugh throughout most of the review. Especially the "special needs Rancor" game and when Joe gets overwhelmed in the campaign mode.
The dance off is great. But you're right, its a bit too tricky for most people. Ive been in musicals and plays, and a lot of the stuff was pretty hard even for me, and I sort of know what I'm doing.
