Star Wars Legion Needs These Vehicles! 

The fact that the droid gunship is on the engagement protocols card is what gets me the most. It would most definitely be a transport based on its scenes in the clone wars

I shutter to imagine an AT-AT in Legion scale.

I think scale in tabletop war games can be tweaked like you mentioned a few times in a video. In 40k you can’t really fit a full squad in a rhino, or landraider. Legion same thing I normally can’t fit all my guys in the actual transport (most of the time). I also think a lot of peoples concern over larger vehicles ruining what’s supposed to be a “skirmish game” is valid, but it’s lame to not release any of this stuff because of that reasoning. I think legion should just have a larger scale format or scenarios that focus on these larger army pieces to accommodate them, instead of trying to work them into every standard point game/situation.

My Legion wishlist will always start and end with the AT-AT! Says the guy that has 5 Kenner/Hasbro AT-AT's.......

No negotiation need the OG-9 Homing Spider droid been waiting for that thang since the core set came out and we seen it on the cover. Also I think the rebels should get the U wing. We did see it as a transport and support gunship in rogue one/battlefront 2

Perfect thing to take down those scorp droids could be a mounted boba on rancor lol.

For those really big vehicles they could always create a “massive” unit type and be limited to only 1 per army.

I really want an AT-TE in legion. The separatist gunship is definitely a good one especially remembering that one arc in clone wars with Saw, his sister, Ahsoka and crew

The ATTE is really the first titananic unit to add, its almost as iconic as the ATAT at this point, and it has so many different weapons it can really be an interesting desighn space alongside the abylity to scale with it gives it some extra space as a transport

I would love the Vulture Driod for separatist. Could start in flying mode with higher speed but not that good shoting and then land to have slow movement but good attacks.

scale should be not a problem, so bring me the big vehicles, ATAT, LAT Gunship, Droid gunship, even X Wing could be an idea for rebels, would love to get Slave1 to the table for the pirate army. We also need some creatures like Wanpa, even Rankor, but this would be for another discution.

Things like the AT TE and MTT could be part of a new super heavy class. Seeing some of the gigantic models that warhammer and Lord gets, I do not see why such things cannot be brought to legion.

A lot of these were done by Revell as models, if you can find those reasonably priced that would be your best bet

As a Republic player, I think the AT-AP would be a good fit. It's scale is similar to that of an AT-ST and features the same cannon as the AT-TE. Feels like a good half-way between bigger firepower and a similar scale. Would also be interesting to see the RX-200, seeing as we already have the TX-130.

I feel like the Droid Starfighter would be a good one because it can walk around as well so it could double as a flying unit and a ground vehicle.

I'm absolutely here for bigger scale battles, I definitely want to see tank lines squaring off. Though if I could only pick one vehicle to add, it would have to be the LAAT.

I feel like Ewoks could also get some kinda mangonel/catapult/big rock thrower as maybe a heavy or support option could help their battleforce as well

Best way to distinguish Legion from Shatterpoint is make it more focused on no-name characters. I get why they heroes are made, and it will never happen, but I always tried avoid taking named characters playing legion. As to the anti-Beskar AT-DP Sabine reconfigured that weapon to target Stormtrooper armour instead, so you could make it a weapon that is effective against a chosen unit. There's also all kind of ridiculous Kenner Mini-rig vehicles that would be amazing to see, and many would work for different factions.

The anti beskar walker could make surging red saves actually save on blanks instead of blocks. Would be thematic, but also not limited to just mandolorians.

Skorpenek should also be Separatist. In the lore it was originally a sep droid and i believe they even say that in BoBF. This would also be a good business move because it would allow more players to need it: Sep and also Shadow Collective would also have interest in buying it.

Yes to droid gunship. I'd like to see mounted characters that can mount and dismount. I don't think it needs to be too complicated. I was surprised Ewok gliders weren't released when they were rolled out. I think a saddled Rancor and the S. droids make the most sense. These would be very playable and not too large. Size and range seems to be an issue with many vehicles.

I think the AT-AT would be a huge draw for legion, even if it's use was restricted to large games

I'd like to see fliers with their own rules, things like TIEs and X-wings that can fly over the battlefield and if they fly off the table, come back on from another edge on the next turn

Something I'd love to see for Rebels specifically is the ability to steal vehicles from other factions. It just feels like, outside of Space, the Rebels aren't really going to have a lot of their own vehicles... but should be doing everything they can to repurpose old machines and steal Empire stuff. Would 100% run an AT-TE. (Also hi, between Play On Tabletop's ocassional Legion games and this channel I've recently gotten into Legion with Rebels o/)

The old clones at-te from Rebels would be an awesome model to throw down.

I would love to see ATAT. They could pull what they did for the superstar destroyer and be OK with it not being fully to scale. It would be one of those centerpieces for everybody and look incredible.

Would love to see the empire get the LAV Chariot with something like field commander or pilot slot, direct: trooper, coordinate: trooper, observe, and maybe even a command card. A true support vehicle that can serve as the commander for its accompanying infantry.

I would check out the micro star wars line. The imperial shuttle is almost to Legion scale. When I use it as terrain it does look a little smaller than normal like the airspeeder.

I figure if we see things like the LAAT/i, AT-TE, and AT-AT then they would go the way of Huge Ships in X-Wing. Where they're only allowed in the "Epic" or Grand Army format, this kinda happens already in Warhammer with Titans. Or similar to the SSD in Armada, it would have a "lite" version thats more limited for the standard or tournament format. Would love to see the AT-AP, AT-OP, OG-9 Homing Spider Droid, and Octuptarra Magna Tri Droid if we're throwing out vehicles. For the Tri Droid there's also the smaller version which could be more standard / 800pt friendly. I think you could also make Y-Wings, Tie Bombers, etc work as a command card similar or as the only ability for an "air support/coordinator" unit at a high cost.

I would love to see more units that can't move, so a vehicle like the hydra VI pod system could be really interesting.

Some quick back of the envelope math. AT-AT would be more than a foot and a half long lol 😂 so smaller than the super star destroyer

The J1-Proton cannon would be a great slow moving Self propelled artillery for the seppies

A solution for the AT-AT is using the ones from starwars commander, they are significantly smaller and ditch transport capacity for just sheer firepower to remove shields. I would personally also hope for the possibility of the I-MHC to show up sine its in similar scale to the AT-TE.

I’m definitely game for larger-scale battles. Maybe make Standard 1200, and add an 1800 or so version to allow for more and/or bigger vehicles. Bigger walkers for the clones such as the AT-TE or AT-XT, along with Spiders and Hellfires for droids would be neat. For the Empire, perhaps add the AT-PT and ITT. Maybe Rebs get their EU tanks, and SC gain those walkers from BoBF plus skiffs?

Or a new system on the 6/8mm scale. Say Legion Flames of War.

I actually printed fanmade cards and used both with my sons Lego Sets of Both AT-At and AT-ET. AT-ET fits better in normal game as AT-AT is soooo poits hungry it is not really feaseble outside grand army. but both work :).

At-Pt for the republic, tie crawler for the empire. There are tons of vehicles in Legends, just got to pull them out. Oh! A a damn imperial probe droid!

This think The easiest way to run the droid gunship as either a transport or gun platform is to give it like transport 2 or 3 keyword for transport version and then give it 2-3 torpedo upgrade slots for the gunship version with possibly unique missiles for it.

I think the arc prototype would be best if it had a rule to ignore impervious, seems majority of those that have it are mandalorians, seems like the most balanced way to do it

We could have aircraft in the form of bombing runs and airstrikes. I'd love to see some legends vehicles, like the Rebels' T4-B, AAC-1 and T2-B.

I'd love an alt mode or 2e of legion that plays on a bigger board to allow for massive vehicles at true scale.

I think the glider for Ewoks would be better as an equipment upgrade, maybe 1x use. Similar to jet packs for Arcs

Droid HMP or we riot, who’s with me?! Also, Grievous on his wheel bike, the Snail is a decent substitute but lacking. The AAT, Persuader, HMP, and Hailfire are all around the same size, so scale is not an issue. AMG’s attitude that Legion is a trooper game is probably the biggest reason why we won’t ever see them

The annihilator droid would be an easy addition (they really saved Book of Boba IMO...although Krrsantan, baby rancor, fennec...not exactly weak!!)...to really distinguish the game, you gotta go big!

i think they should do an epic scale game at place the larger vehicles in that. i kind of would like them to keep legion as a small tactical game.

AMG should definitely prioritize vehicles for legion a little more at least for the foreseeable future since now that we have shatterpoint vehicles are really what allows legion to stand out

Imperial Walker from Solo battle of Mimban, super heavy laser for AT roll, Tie Fighter or Imperial fighter from battle of Scarrif. The super heavy stuff kinda points me off to be honest

I'd love to see some of the stuff from computer games turn up like the AAC 1 speeder tank AT-PT for civil war if they dod larger vehicles I'd love to see the AT-AT , AT-ET and the MTT

Would love the Kenner imp transport to move Storms (or shores or deaths) forward. A cheap ride (hover ground, speed 3?) with some protection (armor 1?) and a gun (range 1-3, couple of whites, maybe critical 1?) would be great (not a huge fan of the LAAT).

The LAAT//LAATie aren’t much different in height. If you put it on a flight stand, you could mitigate a lot of the wing span clutter on the tabletop in true scale to the minis. The ATAT would be roughly a little shorter than an LAAT on a flight stand and wouldn’t be much longer than it. I think enough people would buy it if it became an option. I have a couple models from back in the day that are close in scale but just a little too small for Legion. I don’t think it would be scary expensive either, maybe the price of a Battle Force Starter Set. If they go this direction, anything the size of an ATAT and smaller should be an option.

Said it before, but a TIE Striker as a ground support unit (as in Rogue one) to counter the Snowspeeder would be amazing. And why couldn't we have a Boba/Rancor for a Merc battleforce??

For the droid gunship, Id think itd be cool if it had a "transport" and "attack mode" or "hybrid". We see it has a rotation of being a flying armoury and being a troop transport, and mechanically I dont think it would be the hard to impliment.

I wouldn’t mind more units in Legion to increase the play value.

I think the prequels vehicles have the most potential. Indeed the HMP and the Republic Gunship would be good options to get a vehicle that could be fitted as a transport or as an attack platform (or both ^^). They could have crazy transport potential (like 2 units) or hit really hard (arsenal 3 with multiples shells slots). The Hailfire is also a good idea but the AT-TE could be a little too big, I think a better vehicle could be the AT-AP, it would be used as an artillery platform that shoot big dice pools from long distances.

Too large.......?? As a WH40K Apocalypse player the vehicles you think are potentially too big are definitely not, in fact compared to some wargames vehicles they are actually on the smaller side 🙂

I want the b1 tank from battle of nabboo, even if like when you take it you get to include 2 free b1 units that don’t add to cost of army but the tank can’t attack, even if maybe the b1s first activation must be a disembark from the tank to count as like assembling themselves or something like that

I gave up on getting AT-ATs after they announced shatterpoint. That's why I play Star wars X wing ground assault.

Republic AT-TP, SPHA? Why not some of those? How about upgrading the LAAT/LE. What I'm thinking is being able to choose to be an open transport,where the SQD is able to fire out the doors. Like as in the cartoon.

I believe you need some kind of "epic" scale for an AT-AT, and AMG will never ever want o be able to create some kind of game. And I need the mini-stravaganza from July.

The thing thay worries me is the possibility that the game gets its plug pulled. I am still trying to save enough money for a good-sized army (heck with specific eras r/n)

I doubt we will get larger vehicles but maybe the smaller vehicles like the Ewok glider just due to the scale of the game. to add large vehicles we would need larger battlefields and I feel that if we did get larger vehicles it would be like a 1 of in a battle with restrictions on what they do. I know at my local LGS we printed out a AT-AT to function more like a game mode where the defenders are trying to slow it down with terrain features while the AT-AT is there to destroy a shield generator or something that takes six turns to do. Both sides of this made up game mode was to take 6 turns to stop the other side with a win-or-lose state no game points. But back to your point yes it would be nice to have larger vehicles but due to the scale several vehicles just don't make it in the same way in 40k warhammer we don't see titans everywhere, not to mention the cost to buy them and how to balance them into a game at reasonable point values.

I feal sorry for the Corvet sized vehicals in starwars, too big for Skirmish scale and to small to be efective for epic scale. and so never get a place to shine.

Hard to watch these and not lament x wing and armadas death. Also wondering how long it’ll be until legion dies off as well.
