I am so excited! I usually avoid trailers because they often give away too much, but I'm glad I watched this one. I'm in love with the character and costume designs!

Welcome to the end of the High Republic era everyone

This trailer is ridiculously good, because it's actually showing way more of the story than it appears to. I won't put my hypothesis here, to avoid what might turn out to be spoilers, but if you watch the scene with the woman talking about "who's allowed to use power" carefully, I think you can piece it together

Thanks to your notice the other day, I learned about the teaser drop, m(_ _)m. I knew very little about this series. I recall hearing the name, several months back, but that's about it. I didn't know who was going to be in it, the story, or its placement in the timeline. I gotta say, going in blind was amazing! Seeing on the Jedi on Coruscant was all I needed to know that we were seeing the past, I just didn't know how far back until I read a Screen Rant article immediately after watching the trailer a couple of times, lol. I never thought I'd see Carrey Ann-Moss as a Jedi, and I'm not mad at the idea. I'm now sitting here wondering if Disney would be bold enough to sneak Keanu in this as a Jedi too, or as the Acolyte, lol. Anyway, this looks great! Disney Plus Star Wars has finally found a way to make a series look like it's made to be a movie. Andor was nearly there, but there were times when it felt like it was made for TV. This teaser, however, looks like it's on a movie budget. I hope the series as a whole manages to keep that look. Star Wars TV series need to keep a more consistent visual look to the movies, and the world they all share. Animation gets a pass, but that's not something TV series will be able to take advantage of; Industrial Lights and Magic set the bar high and we all expect to see that iconic quality after hearing the fanfare.
