Starcraft: Rebirth of the Swarm is a full-length, fully voiced Starcraft 2 Machinima movie.
The guy I credited as "Mike Hawk" in this movie is actually known as "Yuriegh", just so you know. Stupid mistake on my part, Im sorry.
The movie is set shortly before the events of Starcraft 2: Wings of Liberty and focuses on the return of Zerg since their four year disappearance after they ended the Brood War.
Finally, after two and a half years of work, Starcraft: Rebirth of the Swarm is finally done. Im extremely proud to present you this movie and im super excitied to see what you all think of it!

This is great. I can only imagine how much work when into and really appreciate the fact that someone made something akin to a movie of Starcraft. There's only one thing that bugged me throughout. No, not the graphics, they're fine. It's the voice acting. Half of the actors seem like they just didn't care. When voice acting, you've gotta put heart into it.

Crainy, I am stunned, this is like watching saving private Raynor for Christ sake. I'm actually emotionally connected to the characters you created in this movie and I can feel the brotherhood being placed between the races. definitely the best SC2 Fan Made movie I will ever see. amazing job.

The animation using vanilla assets and sound effects are absolutely breathtaking. The writing got hokey at times, but the overall story is appropriately dark and it ended with a good feel of finality. One of the best Machinimas I've ever seen! Great work.

The issue I have is with the voice acting being in a whispered tone sometimes, as though you're keeping your volume down to not disturb people, even though the line is yelling.

Hi everyone! Its already been a week since the release of this movie and I can hardly believe it, seeing how I have worked on this project for 2,5 years. Releasing it was quite a blast and I want to say THANK YOU to everyone you watched this movie! I agree with those who say, the voices was rather... "strange" at first compared to what I'm used to from SC and CS 2, but I got used to it quickly. The film itself was really great. You guys did good work with it.

Panagiotis Pappas Ive moved past machinima work and I am currently working on my first fully CGI animated short film, which will be uploaded once its done. However, this year (and currently still) I have been very occupied with work related stuff, but that will thankfully be soon taken care of so I can focus on working on my movies again.

I hate that "nobody shoots until i say so" it originated in movies in wich they had muskets to every shot was important and you needed to hit.But when you have machine guns fighting an alien swarm based in close combat shooting on sight is the best approach.

I am only at minute 17 and I already want to say that this is so damn awesome. I can't even imagine how much work was put into this. Like, I was expecting that first Hydralisk to be a little cheesy looking and such; but I was quite surprised at how "realistic" you made it. It looked so badass. Its just... so... awesome. Well done. I am going to resume watching the whole film when I have some popcorn!

This was SO one of the best movies I've ever seen in my entire life!! I think. xD It was really really cool! At first I thought it was a spin-off of the series, while it is in fact a sequel to the Brood Wars and a prequel to StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty

Thanks, glad you like it! Yeah, when I initially envisioned the first scenes for this movie, it was while hearing the Universe at War soundtrack. Specifically the scene where the protoss warp in to save the terrans during the big mine battle. That was the first scene that I envisioned and then build the rest of the movie around it.
