Stardew Valley Min/Max Guide FULL YEAR 1 Spring to Spring UNCUT with Commentary | Part 05 

I don't know if you've considered this strategy, but one surprisingly good way to make money is with wild seeds. Not mixed seeds, but the forageables seeds. Summer is their most profitable season, but in other seasons they are also good. I don't know if it's the "best" strategy, but it does have some good points: 1. You get a head start with 30 seeds each season by turning in one seed recipe to the community center. 2. Selling the packets is one of the highest gold per day crop in the game. Very comparable to strawberries in the first spring, or starfruit in summer, or artichokes in fall. Summer is the highest profit, because you get high prices and only need three items to make the recipe. 3. It raises your forage skill, which eventually means berries will be doubled or tripled, which is useful in spring and fall because you can use them for food or gifts. Almost everyone likes blackberries, and some people like salmonberries. You can forage hundreds of these in the berry season if you try. 4. When forage skill gets to 10 you get iridium quality for every foraged item, and level 5 gives the chance to double any item. This includes shells on the beach, fruit from the cave, and truffles from pigs! Iridium truffles are extremely valuable (1250 gold each). 5. Certain villagers love forageables as gifts. Almost everyone likes the flowers, and Sandy loves them. Krobus and Harvey love horseradish. George loves leeks. Vincent loves grapes. 6. Grapes can be grown from seeds in fall to complete more bundles of summer seeds. 7. Winter forageables are the only crop you can grow, so nothing compares to them. They are the only season not necessarily most profitable as seed packets, especially if iridium. Iridium crystal fruit gives good food value, comparable to silver quality cheese. 8. Wild forage crops are never eaten by crows, so don't need scarecrows. Junimos won't harvest them, though, so there's that. 9. They take seven days to grow (plus planting day), so you get three crops per season and six extra days. So there's not so much pressure to get them in the ground on day one of the season.

Currently on day 10, got a little luckier than you because my tv today said rain tomorrow so I dropped the can off. Now just gotta get to the gold levels! I almost always buy the Silver Saber for 750g. It's not a huge investment and it makes the levels between 21 and 89 so much easier.

Great mines push again here; even with mixed luck you still made 30 levels in two days. you will be into gold on the 12th and can spend some time laying out your strawberries. Remember the backpack! If you are struggling for a weapon before Mines floor 90 make sure you are popping all of the barrels. They have a 6% chance to drop an item from a pool of 6 items, 4 of which are weapons. they are the best drop rate for weapons outside of the "Star" slimes.

I don't even check the TV on a minmax run, it doesn't matter if its a bad luck day if its a mining day I need to mine! Plus if I don't know the luck its like I have good luck (in my mind!) :D
