Stardew Valley is an open-ended country life RPG. That may sound boring but it is quite the opposite. We have inherited our grandfather's old farm plot in Stardew Valley and it's up to us to make something of ourselves! We'll take on tasks such as farming(of course!), fishing, cooking, exploring, and meeting the other residents of Stardew Valley along the way.
Armed with hand-me-down tools and a few coins, you set out to begin your new life. Can you learn to live off the land and turn these overgrown fields into a thriving home? It won’t be easy. Ever since Joja Corporation came to town, the old ways of life have all but disappeared. The community center, once the town’s most vibrant hub of activity, now lies in shambles. But the valley seems full of opportunity. With a little dedication, you might just be the one to restore Stardew Valley to greatness.

Since you were talking about fishing spots. If anyone else was curious. River fish: -your spot -southernmost point of the island you're on. - south of Leah's cottage a little left -between the two bushes south of Jodi's house Mountain lake: -your spot (south off innermost island) - fish right off of south of the 1st bridge (toward the log in the lake) Beach: -toward the magic rock... might be some silliness but I swear this is the best spot there.

Howdy Foxy, Rain is a 1/6 chance after day 3 (save festivals), so having less than 4 days of rain in the spring is pretty unlikely, so including it here is 100% legit. on my last rain day in spring of my current run I pulled in 16k of fish in the single day; catfish are stupid lucrative, especially with the lvl 10 bonus. I hadn't considered the Salad v Chub conversion, guess its time to empty out the chest of the 50 emergency iridium chub I've been holding onto... I think the strategy for holding on to all your stuff is just a little bit more optimal: by only selling what you need, you can hover really close to 0g, which means (if you skill up at all) you can pass out while working without any ramification. however, predicting skill ups without a mod or skill checker is pretty hard to do, and may cost you more than energy saved. There are instances where the energy loss may be outweighed by the potential profit of passing out (IE Skull Caverns/Mines), however spring fishing (save w/ skill up) isn't one of them; catfish stop spawning at midnight, and Largemouth stop spawning at 7pm making both areas much less lucrative. Ideally you stockpile all of your goods till the lvl 10 perc in whichever skill, then you can sell, however life often gets in the way. :D

Hi, Bob! So sorry it has taken me a long time to reply this time. Life and stuff gettin in the way, you know. :\ Yeah, definitely early on it's a good strategy to hover around 0 gold for the energy savings. As you mentioned though, I feel as though at this point it's not worth it for me to bother. I also don't want to rely on mods for my playthrough since I'm trying to make it accessible for console/mobile players too who don't have access to mods. :) I did not realize catfish stopped spawning at midnight, derp! Thanks for the heads up.

Just a small point of correction: the place where you are fishing is the Forest River, not the Forest Lake. The Lake is the lake by the mines.

Another video for the series, wonderful!! On the note of your rain luck, I feel like you've had terrible rain luck. Most times I've run through spring I get at least 3 or 4 rainy days (1 scripted included). Most runs the second rain day almost always happens before the 13th too! I hope your rain luck improves! Also a prismatic shard is very unlikely on min max runs unless you crack omni geodes or hit the bottom of normal mines. Without hitting the bottom, monsters have no chance of dropping one.

Well as sad as I am about having terrible luck the good news is that hopefully other players following the guide will do better than me with more rainy days then. :) Ohhhhh I totally forgot about that detail of having to get to 120 for the chance of a prismatic shard. Thank you so much for the reminder! I'll definitely be trying to get the key for the skull caverns as soon as I have enough bars to make all the sprinklers I need.

Yay! A FoxyFern Min/Max video! Unless you have a goal of finishing the Community Center, I'd sell all the fish. The fish bundle gives a benefit you will probably never use. The Mine Cart, Desert Bus, and Greenhouse are all you really need from the Community Center for this type of game. But it's hard for me to break the habit.

Thanks! Yeah, it’s mostly the whole breaking the habit thing lol. It will just be hard for me to not eventually open the community center but I agree that I find the glittering boulder benefit virtually worthless.

I think you can only get a prismatic from deeper like 100 or 110+ in the normal mine or from omni geodes

Havin a time getting a prismatic shard on mine. Lemme know if you have anything to add.. Ive got iridium band on, plus burglars ring. Lucky lunch.. Gonna kill serpents. Not sure if theres anything better i can do

Yeah unfortunately it has a lot to do with luck of course. I believe the farther down into the mines you go the higher the chance is of one dropping, but otherwise that's it. :\

Hmm, I'm not sure I'd really play it much? I'm not super into creative mode in most games. I'm the type that LOVES having to work for the stuff I'm building on my farm. It makes it feel like I have more of an investment, and I'm more attached so to speak. Just my personal preference though!

You mean cjb cheats and cjb items? You need to be on pc or android for mods though I believe.
