Starfield ACTIVATE Console Command CHEAT CODES on Xbox! 

I use a dedicated external hard drive connected to the Xbox. Drive needs to be formatted to NTSF first. Then plug it in and go to your storage settings on the Xbox and make it your Preferred Capture device. Now you can record up to an hour of footage directly to the drive in 4K. If 1 hour isn't enough I start the recording again and merge the video files later. Twitch sounds like a good idea too though. What's the highest resolution you can stream on Twitch from the Xbox?

@@RichardBejtlich That's what I was wondering if it was up to 1080p. Still a smart way to do it. It seems like large creators are finally starting to shift to 4K so trying to keep my content as high of a resolution as possible.

Thank you for the sub! I wonder why it just decided to stop syncing. The sync process should always look for the latest game save files and sync that whether its local or in the cloud. I don't think it will sync data that is older than the current saved data on your Xbox unless you instruct it to when getting the error popup which is a mistake I made in the past. Luckily, I didn't lose that much. I've seen people online saying to try a full shutdown of the Xbox and pulling the power cable. Also mentioned trying to log out, let it sit for 5 minutes, and log back in. Why Microsoft doesn't give us proper sync management in the UI anymore is baffling to me. Are you getting any error messages on the Xbox such as "Your other Xbox console is taking a long time to sync to the cloud" ? Also keep in mind the likelihood of your SSD dying is very slim.

Hey, thx for the reply. To answer your questions... I unplug my console and T.V. every night to avoid damage from T-storms, voltage drops, power outages, etc. so it's always "cold booted". I only play games on my Series X, and no errors. I also think choosing "synch" instead of choosing the last old console save from last year, or the cloud should work. It's risky though. Yeah me too. Not having manual control of my cloud saves is really annoying. 👺 My options are [console save dated Nov. 21], or the [coud save from Nov. 23 2033]. I fear it will overwrite my current saves. I'll have to see if it's an option to save on an external drive or data stick before synching.

If you mean from the Xbox to PC no you cant just plug in the external drive as they are formatted differently between Windows and Xbox. If you are talking about installing the game in windows to an external SSD then yes that should work fine as long as your computer can boot the game up.

​@circuitscore so my computer doesn't have enough storage so I'm trying cloud play on my laptop but I don't have a mouse so I have to use a controller will that stop it from working or should it still work because I go to menu and hit the button and nothing pops up

@@hammysteele6054Console commands do not work with cloud play unfortunately. Only running on a PC that can boot the game.

Ships not opening, no enemies come out. No enemies on ships in space. That glitch started with both of my games after lvl 70 for me. I started the second game because I thought I somehow made it happen doing glitches with the 1st game, but it started with the second game too, which I played vanilla. This is a glitch I’m sure others have. At a certain lvl, ships stop opening.

I have not experienced this issue yet but I know of a lot of commenters that have had this issue.

Good to know! Its a shame it doesn't work for Cloud on PC. That could have saved a ton of time. It does make sense though. Its my understanding that Cloud gaming on their service is run off of a farm of Xbox Series X based servers.

@@andrewbuchanan8015 Through either the Microsoft Store or Xbox app in Windows.

I have not tried it myself but I have read community comments that cloud play does not work with console commands. Reason being is cloudplay its actually running on Xbox hardware in a server farm.

I had a recording malfunction. I deleted the autosaves to not cause additional confusion. Nice catch!

It's very possible it could take that long! 😂 You would think Microsoft would have faster servers. After the initial sync it shouldn't take as long the next time. I had a recording malfunction the first time I tried to sync to the Xbox and ended up with a corrupt video file. I deleted some Autosaves the proceeded the quicksave to attempt to not confuse people when I rerecorded the footage a second time. Good catch!

There's a mod that allows you to keep those, as well. My guess is that if you're using that mod, and save it, it will still work.

Unfortunately Xbox cloud gaming doesn't work with console commands since it's run off a farm of Xbox series Xs. However I wonder if GeForce Now would work with this since they use actual PC hardware. 🤔

Not true. If you bought a digital copy on the Xbox Store then you also own it on PC through the Microsoft store or vise versa. Gamepass is not a requirement.

@@Blasted2Oblivion Nope you just need to purchase it once since it's a Play Anywhere title. Skyrim on the other hand is not a Play Anywhere title and does not work the same way. So keep in mind it is game specific.

Game works/plays better with a controller vs M&K. Most games do. It’s 2024, who doesn’t have both these days 🤷🏻‍♂️
