Starfield is a bad game

My honest, unfiltered review of Starfield... mostly about why it's not a good game on just about every level, at least during the first few hours of gameplay. The writing, the story, the characters, the NPCs, the animations, the space flight, the RPG elements, the voice acting, everything... it's bad... and nobody should have to get 30+ hours into a game like this for it to "get good". Bethesda has no excuse. I wish I could get my $100 back.

Yeah. I loved even Fallout 3, especially the DLCs, and also Fallout 4, again, especially DLCs. but Starfield wont get better over time, even with DLCs, cause the core game is a hot garbage! This cant be fixed. Graphics wiont get "better" oir more interesting, DLC can bring great story, but the whole main game is dull af. I'm out of words at how this disappointed me. such a wasted opportunity. Made for years only to come out half baked and unfinished, unpolished, uninspired and booooooooring. That anxiety you describe, about not knowing which junk to value, is the only damn thing any Bethesda game accurately simulates.
@Rexhunterj
@Rexhunterj 10 месяцев назад
Well, in Fallout 4/76 that's not true, you begin to realise within the first 19 levels which junk items are the ones to farm for use or sale, and it usually doesn't take much longer to explore the crafting system to find bulk junk. In Fallout it's obvious that 'joining' items eg; Ductape, Glue, Screws, Gears, Springs, etc. Are all very valuable and also can be rare. I remember when that game first came out, I'd trade with players for my bulk springs and screws, people were willing to pay big caps for junk because they didnt want to farm it, luckily for me I'm an enjoyer of exploring locations and looting so it's a good fit. That wasn't intentional design though, that's totally an emergent gameplay thing that Bethesda accidentally created for those games.

@tylerstimson
@tylerstimson 10 месяцев назад
Mass Effect is just a traditional linear RPG. There is no freedom for the player really. It's a fantastic game but Starfield is a completely different beast, it does so much more in terms of player freedom and true roleplaying. Can you be a space pirate in mass effect? Build your own ship? This is just a completely different experience
@Hirotoro4692
@Hirotoro4692 10 месяцев назад
@@tylerstimson Like I get what you're saying, but @eatbulletz specifically said 'introduce the player to a new universe and characters'. World-building is not specifically linked to whether the game is linear or not. Or are you arguing that being an open world game means it doesn't have to do a good job introducing the player to the setting? Apples and Oranges may both be fruit, but they are both best enjoyed fresh. That's why I don't think the difference between linear and open world is at all an excuse when it comes to establishing the world and characters therein. Regardless of video game style, these things must be done well in order for it to be a good story-driven game.
@tylerstimson

To me I like just being thrown into a world. I don't want to be introduced. I want to be transported to whole new world and immersed in it. Which for me Starfield did wonderfully! Bethesda has always been a mid game studio who struck gold with Morrowind, and have been riding a tsunami of nostalgia ever since. They've proven themselves to be a one-trick pony many times over at this point, while setting the bar lower and lower, gradually acclimating younger fans to lower standards. I wasn't expecting much but holy shit, the fact that, with pre-production, they spent a decade on this staggers the fucking mind. It's like seriously, this is the reason TES 6 is literally going to be 20 years removed from TES 5? The creation engine should have died with Skyrim. This is such a buggy anachronistic mess. It honestly feels like a Skyrim mod -- an ambitious one, sure -- but certainly not a $70 triple A game. What's the point of having a new IP if you're not going to do anything with it? It's just an amalgam of awful writing, brazen contrivances, and sci-fi tropes. Choices have zero impact. Calling this an RPG is either a bad joke or just illustrates my point that people have been deluded into accepting a comically low bar in games. I won't even mention the outright lies they put out during the marketing of this. Just sad all around.
@sarcasm-83
@sarcasm-83 10 месяцев назад
I wouldn't say "Always been a mid game studio" since in Morrowind and Oblivion days, they were absolutely very much the forerunners of this type of game (RPGs in first person in a world of those sizes). Maybe even on Skyrim's original release.. Sure, by then they had terribly fallen behind in game mechanics that existed in First Person games, especially in terms of combat, but I can't mention a game from that era that did the whole package of that many quests, that big of a world and that wide of a selection of FPS RPG goodness better. There's a reason it was such a success. But since then, from Fallout 4 they have been behind or at least treading in place and it reeally shows by now in a way that just feels average on many levels when compared to todays games. Sure, it can still have its charm and be fun enough and I blame no one if they still enjoy it, but they absolutely aren't innovating on any level anymore. I feel they should have prioritized making an all new engine at least half a decade ago... So yes very much agreed on everything they are today

Morrowind-Skyrim and Fallout 3 were genuinely good games that pushed boundaries when they released. The problem is they haven't really innovated since and now the formula is dated and stale. Starfield has an additional problem of its vision and scope.

They definitely started going downhill with Fallout 3. Oblivion was lacking features that were in Morrowind, but it was still pretty solid. You have all these amazing ships and after jumping like six times and finding no pirates, it's like.. okay, the rest of the game is a soulless fast-travel fetch things... and I'm bored with that, so... Side quests all feel like Bethesda said, "Well since we're not putting a map in the game, we need to find a way to show the player around" without hiding it. Each mission leads from one district to the next and then back. That's before even leaving the planet. And I never play Bethesda games for the main story so hearing that I needed to get through 12 hours of the main story made me think, "Uh there's a main story?"

You don't need to do 12 hours of the main story, its just not a bad idea if you are not sure what else to do. And I will say that the main story in this game is the best they've ever done by far. This game has a lot of different systems and it does have a learning curve, but I was having fun immediately. If you aren't having fun at all playing the game, don't play it. @@winniethepoohxi1896 I still disagree with many of this reviewer's points. I've just hit my 20 hrs mark and there is still so much to uncover, both in terms of new engaging questlines and sidequests (arguably the best Bethesda has ever made since Oblivion) and many hand-crafted locations, with tons of stuff to explore and characters to meet, not to mention the enormous amount of optional activities that you're welcome to try out at any time. I personally think that this game does a decent job at capturing the essence of what Bethesda games are about. I still have my own fair share of gripes, but I also acknowledge the numerous positives. This is a game that can surprise and offer something new even if you've sunk a huge amount of hours into it. This is another Bethesda world that you can practically live in if you want, not just complete the main story and be done with it. Once again, this game is not perfect, just like every other game by this studio before it. However, it still offers you a huge and grandiose journey with lots of stuff to do and roles to play. So I still can't agree that this game is atrocious. Worst case scenario, I can see one calling it underwhelming and inferior to Bethesda's best products, but I still don't see how this game can be perceived as downright terrible, unless you have a certain negative bias towards this game.

I want to give an awesome example: Fallout 3 on the xbox 360 was the very first time I played Fallout. I had no idea what a "fallout" was or even what it meant, and I remember being in high school just being so immersed in the idea of people living under ground in a Vault 101. Then my world changed when my ingame dad left the vault without warning, and I found myself leaving. One instance as I was trying to leave the vault, were when the two guards were chasing after me, but then as I got closer to the outside, they were all like, "I'm not going out there! Who knows what's out there!" That was an amazing way of story telling how everybody in the vault, including the guards, were so paranoid, that they won't even chase the player out into the wasteland. Then I went outside, and the first thing I was greeted with was a blurry vision that comes into; I see a world that behind the blur kinda looked like a city...But then it turns into this horrific destruction and vacant world of a universe that supposed to be our American Capital! This was insanely awesome, and emotional for me never even giving much thought of what the earth would look like if it were destroyed. I traveled into the schools, and thought that the people I saw there were friendly, but then they attacked me, and when I shot them, I saw one of the raiders had this 'demon' hairstyle, and I thought that those two npc, were demons, lol, I thought that this had something like Fable when morality affects your looks. XD But no, that was just the hairstyle of npc outside in the wasteland, and I came to find out that those were raiders. I even remember listening to the old music and walking down a destroyed capital feeling almost on the verge of tears, because everything _looked_ like it must've at one point been something great, but now it's just a ruin of what once was. That was a very powerful emotion. Everything the devs wanted me to experience, I literally experienced from start to finish. That was the old Bethesda effect that the company had, especially with Fallout. Just goes to show you how much Bethesda games has fallen from grace with Starfield's release.

I knew the dialogue was bad after the intro, but some points are so bad it’s mind blowing. There is a point where you need to acquire an item on a ship, and the item has been stashed away by its caretaker, who is surrounded by security on a ship that you’re not allowed to kill people on because of its hyper advanced security systems. The dialogue states over and over again that the caretaker loves this item and taking care of it for 9 years is her entire life’s purpose. Then there becomes a point where you can’t get the item without a code from the caretaker, so you walk up to her. You have one dialogue option which is just asking her for the code so you can steal the item. She asks, “why would I ever give it to you?” Your response is an intimidation check where you vaguely threaten to kill her, while she’s surrounded by security. She basically goes ah fair enough, and gives you the code to steal what is her most prized possession with only 2 lines of dialogue. And then it’s GG, she doesn’t tell security, she doesn’t leave her spot she’s standing in, you just steal the item and win the quest.

Yep, did complete the game in about 65 hours. It reeks of what I call "checklist game design". It is in many mechanical areas superior to fallout 4, but it lacks in immersion and feels very much on rails with no real choices that matters. The whole checklist stuff is that the game feels like a game design by different people who never talked together on what they were working on, so you get some very interesting side quests in a few cases, but extremely bland mainline story and a lot of fetch quests, where you travel across the galaxy for a Mcguffin and back again, spending about 3 minutes in each place. It just feels like segments glued together with least amount of effort cross teams talk. It feels like each team did the minimal required effort and moved on to the next task. Asset design was great, but weapons are pretty meh, and there is absolutely NO reason to play anything else than ballistic rifles. Space travel is just a quick travel system, and can mostly be completely ignored, click on planet, loading screen, wait for scan, hold X to land. Is pretty much the extent of space travel you get. Space travel isn't treated as an adventure itself, like you had when travelling from town to town in Skyrim with interesting points along the way. This is the lack of immersion that is present in other games, but not in Starfield, and once the immersion falls apart, a bethesda RPG falls apart.

Of course, that doesnt mean there's anything wrong with liking a bad game... I can think of some terrible games that I personally have a good time with. Still terrible, though, even if I kinda like them... I know bad/lazy/broken when I see it. As for Starfield... it's being complained about for good reason. The whole thing is buggy (to an extreme rarely seen), janky, there's literal copy-pasted areas in it (like, seriously, how freaking lazy is that?), half of the game doesnt even have anything in it (in a genre that's known for being CRAMMED with STUFF), lots of blank areas, and it is made in an engine that was outdated YEARS ago, and so on. And it is created by a company that has already proven, on MANY occasions, that they do not care. Heck, I rather suspect that the REAL reason for "we have 1000 planets" isnt because that makes any bloody sense at all... it would have made far more sense to have 20 planets that are utterly DENSE with cool things to do, and then have the another "area" be space, also with a zillion things to do. Cool things that ARENT ever copy-pasted. So that every individual thing is truly uniquely interesting. But "1000 planets" looks better in the advertising and "hype" phase, and to a company like this, that's the IMPORTANT phase. And it also sounds better to shareholders. The reason people are so enamored with BG3 isnt just because it's Baldur's Gate, or because it's an RPG of a specific type, or anything like that. Many have never even played the older BG games... seriously those were a bloody long time ago (to the point where many full-grown adults, playing these games now, were toddlers at the time), and they've got a pretty nasty learning curve, and they didnt exactly age gracefully (and that's putting it mildly). And many have never played an RPG of the type that BG3 fits into. So it aint really about those. Nor is it about the theme, or setting. It's in the spotlight because it shows what's actually possible, when the company behind it REALLY cares. No, seriously, think about it: however much you may like Starfield, imagine what it COULD have been if it had been made by a company that truly valued what they were making in the way Larian does. Or in the way most indies do. Or CD Projekt Red, back when they made The Witcher 3. Or From Software. If you think Starfield is good? That's nice, and I'm glad you're having a good time. But it could have been better. Much better. DRASTICALLY better. Imagine what that would have been like. Wouldnt that have been freakin' awesome? And people would be showing it the same love they're giving to BG3. But the company behind Starfield doesnt care enough to make that happen. That's why BG3 is in the spotlight lately, because its an example of that ACTUALLY HAPPENING (without some sort of catch, like lootboxes, being a part of it). Elden Ring, too. On a side note, I dont play BG3 myself... I simply recognize that sheer level of quality and obvious love when I see it. Heck, I dont really do RPGs, never was my thing (not the ultra-deep sort that BG3 is anyway), but I may pick it up later purely to support developers that put that kind of effort and love into it. Even though it's not my kind of game. That's all I'm sayin'. If you love Starfield... great, please continue having fun. Other people disliking it shouldnt stop that. I agree completely with you, and the 30+ hours I’ve put into this title hasn’t swayed my opinion at all in its favor but rather has further soured it. I’ve been playing Bethesda games since morrowind, and their tired formula for creating content has finally reached what I consider the peak of its mediocrity which can no longer be ignored. I wish I had not bought this game, but in a way, I’m glad I did simply for the fact that it will reinforce in me the concept of not giving way to hype - something as a veteran gamer I should have known but yet was still drawn in; mostly under the pretense of: “okay they can’t possibly fuck this up more than fallout 4 / 76”. Oh boy was I wrong. As you stated, the game is primarily story driven but yet the narrative is dryer than the spaceflight mechanics, which are mostly useless when you are simply encouraged to fast travel from one location to the next as quickly as possible to solve generic quest objectives that effect both characters and a world that I give not fucks about actually interacting with or influencing. That and the sterile representation of humanity via its rather lifeless presence and lack of real conflict aside from your cookie-cutter space pirates which have the AI from a PlayStation game from 1995. Also, where the hell are the ground vehicles? You mean it’s the year 23XX, humans are a space based civilization with faster than light travel and yet they have to walk everywhere? Top notch review my friend - you said it all for me.

What annoyed me most is Barrett telling us to go straight to the lodge before anything else, he literally emphasizes: 'without any deviation unless absolutely necessary'. After lift off we encounter a few pirates so we can get the hang of how to fight other ships. Then Vasco suggests we should go to Kreet first to talk to the Crimson Fleet captain. And because I am roll playing I decide to listen to Barrett and go to the Lodge first, the Crimson captain can wait. But the game does not let me, we have to go to Kreet first which does not make any sense at all: I'm pretty sure those pirates will be there later so they can wait. And I don't get why Barrett does not simply come with us, there is enough room in the space ship. Turns out one of the next missions is to go back and get Barrett, which by then has been kidnapped, but he could have come with us right from the start. There was no clear direction in the writing. Thanks for the video, great breakdown.

Fallout 3, NV, 4, Skyrim, even games from other devs like Mass Effect 1-3... I'd get up in the morning to play them before work. Rare for me, I like quiet and little stimulation in the morning, few games have made me feel like playing whenever I can. Starfield falls far short, in fact it has begun to feel like a chore. 15 hours in and I just don't think I'm oging back to it. Bethesda has had its soul mined and exhausted, stripped bare by money men, I'm not disappointed, I expected little, but it's simply not a good game by any stretch. I agree, it feels like a Fallout 4 mod made by a fan or 2, what on earth have they been doing all this time? Focusing on the wrong aspects of the games development is all I can conclude. What a shambles, thankfully I have game pass so there's no financial hit. Elder Scrolls 6, i have now given up all hope on. I'll try it if its on game pass, or pirate it to demo it. That is one thing Ive noticed. They moved back towards a Morrowind style of world building instead of the story driven way new Vegas, oblivion, or Skyrim did though I think oblivion was even softer than the other 2. I think that is a reasonable criticism of not wanting to play. The idea that the dialogue is bad though is objectively a bad take by ver. He wants the Skyrim version of information dump plus story driving dialogue where as I don't but this is not a book. It is suppose to be a world that is living and you are just a single person in all of it. The dialogue is not actually a tool for you, it's written as a actual social interaction since in the real world most dialogue is not actually for a random person.

Dude honestly just play the game, the Voice acting is good, the gameplay is fun, the characters, factions, and story are pretty in depth. It gives me all the feelings of fallout or Skyrim in which you can completely break away and live out some side stories or side quests that are well placed and unique. There are obviously some critiques to be made, but I feel like most people who are tearing this game a new one just genuinely don’t like Bethesda games new or old and so their limited experience with the games that the company has made gives them some outrageous expectations.

@@ARTIQZ bootlicker? Lmao, your first sentence is projecting. How are you gonna cry about me being rude and then do the same with a basic name call when I made actual arguments. Sit down child. I also started on Morrowind and even went back for the game of the year addition just for the add-ons. I did most of that game and the majority of Morrowind is empty space. Much of the north is empty, the center is devoid of most life. You had a few major cities but outside of that Morrowind was empty because the story talked about how things don't really live in Morrowind after whatever it was a demon or whatnot destroyed much of everything from the dwarves to the dark elfs struggling in a barren land. You are out of your mind if you don't think it compares to that. I also talked about how the combat gameplay is significantly improved over fallout or elder scrolls and that's not debatable. Bethesda also said they were going with NASA predictions on life on planets which is around 10% and if you actually looked at the lore you would know there is a deal that a group can only settle 3 systems which also means lot of planets with little to nothing. I'm not a bootlicker, you are a casual player hoping for Skyrim and you got a game that is in line with literally every other Bethesda game and it makes you mad. That's fine, but your read of the game is outright wrong and is clear you have major bias. Also I don't remember starfield holding your hand the same way Skyrim skills worked, or the broken magic system, or the broken crafting system. I sadly have to agree with the title. Now the video is not out yet, but after maybe 20hs of Starfield, definitely seems again like huge waste of potential. Feels like every mechanic in the game is mediocre at best, some mechanics are just copied from Fallout4 even though they were bad then already. And they had 8 years to improve on them… Not to mention that the game runs like ass but doesnt have the visuals to justify it. Tod Howard says they pushed every new technology and maybe you just habe to upgrade your PC but honestly i dont see any new technology thats being pushed in the game? Feels like they are just pushing a 20 year old engine and forgot to optimize in the end. Also its not even really a space game, most of the time when you’re using the ship, its just fast traveling. And the short amount of time when you will fly in space and fight, its the most boring space flight ive ever seen. In reality the space ship is just a big fast travel machine. The planets ive been to were all pretty boring, havent really found anything interesting. Kinda reminiscent of early no mans sky but at least there some planets were crazy and cool and at least you could fly above them to explore a bit. Oh and outpost building is kinda the same as fallout 4s settlement was, plus a new top down perspective that to be fair is really nice and would be very helpful if the rest of the building mechanics would be better. But its still very restrictive just like fallout4s settlement system was and also very disappointing with the limited amount of options in buildings for example. Now i still enjoy the game, bethesda rpgs are exactly my type of game so i will always enjoy them and to be fair sound and voice acting is really good and as far as ive been in the story its quite decent and the writing all around seems alright. But the gameplay is just sadly so very mediocre…

Honestly one of the biggest things is that there’s just generally no vibe or soul I feel like. Games like Skyrim and Fallout 4 and 3 had a good vibe and gave you tingles and butterflies in your stomach when you started playing because of the endless possibilities there were. Like “I could go and blow up an entire city cause I couldn’t get that Sheriff hat”, or “I really like the Empire, they’re like Romans, But the Stormcloaks look like vikings AND I like blue” there were unlimited choices for situations and that made it have infinite replay ability. Even as an adult those little tingles were like video game spider sense that you know it’s gonna be good. I’ve already seen gameplay and I already knew I wasn’t going to spend money on it, no offense of course to people who like it, this is my opinion, but I know other people also feel this way. Starfield has no vibe, just another soulless triple A title. Now excuse me while I go back to Oblivion and make a fire touch spell I can name, “Ass Blast”

I haven’t bought the game and I don’t plan to any time soon. Mainly because I can’t get over how bad the writing and characters are. Did they even notice, during nearly a decade of development, that games like Red Dead 2 and Witcher 3 exist? Did they realise that’s the market they’re competing in? Maybe they did, but figured their loyal fanbase would accept whatever formulaic tripe they served up, so long as it was served on a “truly massive” plate. And they may have been right about that: I don’t see this game getting the critical spanking that its bland writing, soulless characters and sterile exploration seem to deserve.

Failed: Sunk Cost Galaxy Finally, a game Crack Addicts, Hoarders, and Neurodivergents can really sink their scabby little fingers into, with all the charm and character development of a dried out turd. And it only took 8 years and $400 million, the same amount of time and twice the cost of Star Citizen, an MMO with an entire solar system of real planets and 200 real ships to explore them with, and all with no loading screens. Which is only one of two games the indie company is making, and started in 2015 with just 220 staff. A project backed by gamers themselves, and now both titles are moving into Beta. The truth is probably more like this ... The people that make this stuff don't really play it any more than to make sure it "works" a second time. Or to fix someone else's crap. They don't know or care if it makes sense because they are only concerned or knowledgeable about the 15 minutes of gameplay they are working on.

@@Uncanny_Mountain The funniest part is none of this is actually cheaper or makes them more money in the end, maybe for a fiscal year or two, but the costs (in multiple senses of the word) come back to bite them. Refuse to pay writers more to make good stories, force CGI artists to work super overtime to make up for shitty story by filling the screentime with CGI instead of story, know that reception isn't gonna be great so pay out the ass to market it for a big first week viewing. At 9:27, notice on the left, they are using an antique fire extinguisher from 300 years previous. Is that ever explained? The game is full of absurd details like this. I think they just reused objects from other games, rather than bother design something geniunely futuristic. The level of science fiction imagination and writing throughout the game is about on a level of a 12 year old. It actually takes effort to be that unimaginative. To not think once about the possibility of alien life, future techs, gene manipulation, AI development, surveillance, social change etc. For Bethesda, the future is pirates and mining. And more pirates. But still, nobody locks their door. And that part where you go out into the world for the first time. It looks not much different to a modern airport. Nothing special at all.

It's not a bad game, just not very innovative or well written. Still quite immersive imo. I watched the trailers and a few reviews and didn't feel I'd like it. Ended up buying the game a few days ago anyways and boom i got addicted like I did with Skyrim twelve years ago. It's all about expectations I think. If you just treat it as a total conversion mod for Skyrim it's great. It scratches an itch that Elite Dangerous and Star Citizen haven't been able to these last 7 years. But as a major blockbuster for 2023 it feels lackluster due to its dated game engine.

Personally, Starfield inspired me to re-install No Man's Sky. I was considering giving Starfield a go until I read some of the "issues list", not even a full week after official launch. The glitches I've seen, the suspect performance even on high end rigs, it's classic Bethesda. Wait for the GoTY Super Gold edition in 2027 with a laundry list of additional fixes. I'm good. Starfield is a "no" for me until 2027 when that GoTY Super Gold patched-to-hell edition becomes available on Steam for $5. There are simply too many better games available that's actually worth the money.

Part of what made games like Oblivion, Skyrim, and Fallout fun was the journey to your objectives. What makes starfield so bland and boring is the LACK of a journey to your objective. You fast travel to your objective, complete your objective, then fast travel back to turn in your objective. Their is no journey, their is nothing exciting. Only thing i'm glad about is that I bought my copy off CD keys for the premium edition so it wasn't $100. about $80 so only $10 more than the base.

Quick caveat, I am still playing despite agreeing with all of these issues. There are actually even more issues that you didnt get far enough to really experience. Like the fact that they went in pretty hard on the procedural generation. Eac of the landable planets either has nothing hand designed on it in which case every part of it is some randomly generated potential mess, or a couple points on the map were intentionally created, and the rest of that map is random. This has led to random objects, containers, and even small buildings floating in the middle of the sky when terrane geometry doesnt line up right, and being submerged and inaccessible under the terrane. Or how truly frustrating the skill tree is. It takes forever to get skill points to the point that you will have several completed challenges for getting a skill to the next tier waiting for you so you effectively never feel like you have enough points, or that the challenges are effectively useless as you are almost certainly going to have it completed by the time you have a free point. Wildlife has a really really weird difficulty curve. It goes from 50-150hp consistent with everything else I have been fighting to having 3 enemies with 1300hp that are 8lvls below me. (for reference at this point all of my weapons did about 9-11dmg per shot, exception a sniping revolver I found that was very slow but did 117{with stealth, mods, headshot, and a crit the highest I had see this weapon hit for was ~1100 on a human, 300-500 on the wildlife}) It would take me ~180 bullets with a gun capable of dealing with them in my face to kill 1. And as far as stealth goes, even with full investment into the skill, and modded files to make it better, it still feels almost useless. Either I can stare a group of people in the eye as I slowly shoot them all in the head point blank, or they detected me through 5 walls in their sleep, there doesnt seem to be an in-between. All that being said, Im sure there are even more issues that I havent even gotten to yet.

I hope you are aware, they are not using random procedural generation here outside of points of interest and encounters. The landscape is procedurally generated, but not randomly. It's literally the same for every player playing the game if you land in the same spot. As for floating objects, it's pretty rare.. I have only seen it maybe 3 or 4 times in about 70 hours of playing. Any other floating object was intended due to story reasons. I also have never seen a single building floating, so not sure how you managed to come across that, nor have I comes across any being submerged either.
@Illumian84
@Illumian84 10 месяцев назад
@@SilvyReactsThats the thing about randomness, someone could never experience the issue, and someone could only ever experience it. Its nice that the terrane is set, but if all the things put on it are just picked from a list of, well call them dungeons, then if they are placed in an unsuitable location then things will get weird.
