This is the absolute easiest explanation I have ever seen for creating unnumbered pages until a certain point in a manuscript. Thank you for explaining it sooooo well and soooooo simply! 🥰
finally found the best tutorial. now I can start my first page at 4. so much video I've watch only teach me on how to start at page 3 which not what I needed. Thank you so much for this brilliant and simple explanation. it really help me to finish my assignment. Thank youuuuuu sir Chester!
Hello, I'm a high school senior doing my assignment and your advice just saved my computer from being smashed in the face with my hand. Thank you so much for existing and this video ❤
Thank you for this tutorial, Chester. I have wasted hours on word tutorials trying to achieve this numbering in my document. Your tutorial was so helpful and easy to follow.
Many thanks! Before this video, I looked at half a dozen other tutorials, both in text and on RU-vid, and they were either too complicated or flawed by missing steps. Yours cuts right to the chase and is easy to follow.
You absolute legend, currently writing my final project and I am beating myself on the head for not having learned Word earlier on in my life. Your video saved me quite some time, thank you ❤
Thank you! Putting together my first short story collection and for some reason this page number thing was harder than writing fiction until you came along.
me and my friends are in the final stages of our dissertation and were banging our heads against the wall trying to figure this out until we watched this as nothing else worked! life saver thank you!
Thank you dear Chester for explaining this so well - this is just what I needed to wrap up the third edition of my best-selling book! I can now send it to my typesetting team 🙂 Keep shining!
Thank you so much for posting this! I was trying to format my thesis and every written guide online simply was not working. The numbering in my thesis had to start three pages in and I could not, for the life of me, figure it out. I swear this frustrated me more than writing the damn thing, haha. So once again, thank you for posting such an easy-to-follow guide on how to do this.
Oh man u wont believe what happened right after i wrote that, the pagenumbers did a sneak attack and numbered the first section 1 and 2 (front page and table of contents)
Great tutorial thanks - I was looking for sections for the last 15 minutes :) been years since I used them. The "it does the opposite of what it says" is because it's a toggle of course and grey/on by default.
Oh my god thank you so much, I'm writing a paper for one of my classes and have spent at least two hours over the past day trying to figure out how to number the pages after my cover page. Very easy to follow, much appreciated.
Your video was extremely helpful! I'm having trouble getting the page numbers to move from page 1, to page 2, etc. Can you provide some suggestions please? Thank you!
