Wow, I wouldn’t drill holes into that AC Cobra buck. I would use glue and sell the AC buck at a later stage.🇿🇦🇦🇺🇬🇪🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺

So the finished body is going to be a little larger than the "buck"? Did you consider scanning the fiberglass body and making a wooden buck?

Hi Danie do you have access to a 5 axis CNC router? If you have a 3D handheld scanner you can scan a 1:18 scale diacast model and with the necessary software you can CNC cut a full scale model and it will symmetrical.I find that a lot of these fibreglass bodies has been copied a zillion times and is not symmetrical anymore.I know there is a 5 axis CNC somewhere in bobbejaansberg.

I have this problem with a fiberglas body that I bought and it is not symmetrical so much so my chassis that is symmetrical does not fit under the body. Very very frustrating. 🇿🇦🇦🇺🇬🇪🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
