Check out my MASSAGE approach to helping Crossfit athletes Eliminate and Prevent Upper Body Pain that can occur in a rigorous sport. Release tight muscles and fascia, increase range of motion in the front of the shoulder, and stretch opposing muscles to keep the athlete training to their Heart's content. These are the typical pain patterns and muscle injuries that I see and how you can work them. Now when you go to get a massage, you can be proactive in getting the right areas worked.
AS AN ATHLETE I've found that Gua sha is THE best tool for muscle recovery out there. Better than rolling on a roller or ball. Better than the self massagers or fascia blaster. Once I learned it, I was able to stave off injuries.. I teach all my clients to do it on themselves, and NOW YOU CAN TOO!

I was a successful Spartan Athlete because I knew how to tap into the power of the mind to acheive athletic goals. After a really stressful period, I developed these conditions and my professional career ended abruptly. I spent 2 years in the depths of depression, severe Chronic Fatigue, and Fibromyalgia.
