I saw him with Louis Armstrong when i was 12 and playing clarinet. The whole show just impressed me so much, i knew then i would be Jazz player. Peanuts just killed me with his time and broad sound and that relaxed but still hot swing!

Peanuts Hucko is the top of the Clarinet world. He's up there with the best.... Jimmy Dorsey Artie Shaw Benny Goodman Woody Herman.

Peanuts one of the best. As a teenager, saw him at the Manchester Free Trade Hall in the mid 1950s with a scratch group playing 2nd to the MJQ.
